Miramare Villas

This was our first time ever booking a package holiday through Jet2, and actually our first proper holiday abroad, so I’ll admit I was really nervous about it all. But from the moment we arrived at Miramare Resort, those worries completely disappeared.

What an incredible week we had.

The resort itself is beautiful, with amazing views, wonderful accommodation and fantastic pools. My personal favourite was the Aegon pool — we spent a couple of days there and absolutely loved it. The poolside lunch service was fantastic, and of course, the cocktails and cappuccinos were a huge bonus! ☕️🍹

We booked half board and were genuinely blown away by the food. The buffet selection was incredible, with so much choice, and the quality was consistently fantastic. A special mention has to go to all of the restaurant staff, who were absolutely brilliant. They were friendly, attentive and always working so hard to make sure everyone was looked after, special shout out to Kostas who always looked after us.

The F&B Manager deserves a particular mention too. You could see that he had everything under control, and he was always around, making sure everything was running smoothly.

The location was also perfect for us. It was an easy walk into Agios Nikolaos, which meant we could enjoy the resort but also explore the local area.

We also did the excursion to Knossos Palace, which was fantastic. Our tour guide, Poppy, was amazing — so passionate, knowledgeable and clearly loved what she was doing. She brought the history to life and made the experience really special.

But above all, it was the people who made our stay so memorable. Every member of staff we encountered was wonderful, and we genuinely felt so well looked after throughout the week.

Our week at Miramare was honestly perfect. Thank you to every single member of the team for helping to make our first holiday abroad as husband and wife such a special and unforgettable time. ❤️

We were absolutely heartbroken to leave — it genuinely felt like we were leaving a little piece of ourselves behind.

This definitely isn’t goodbye…

Overall nice hotel, food is fine and staff is generally helpful.

Hotel is located on a seaside cliff, so stairs and more stairs. Rooms are scatrer all over. Thank god there are few golf carts driving people all around resort as it is not very walkable. We tried to walk uphill to Aegon pool once, not a chance. It is so steep.

We had deluxe room with sea view near reception. Room was clean and spacious. Maybe little bit outdated, but that does not matter. I wish room had had few more electrical outlets to charge phones and for laptop usage.

All inclusive is little confusing. As not all drinks are included and the is normal, plus and premium choices of all inclusive packages.

We had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is consistent and good quality. Lunch and dinner varies little bit from day to day. As a picky eater with allergies I found always something to eat every time.

Spa experience was very calming and helped me to relax. I had Bora as my massage therapist, she was incredibly professional and attentive. No idle chit-chat which I loved! And no strong perfumes in used products. Price of the spa experience was reasonable. Very much recommended to try while staying!
