Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Hotel it’s self was lovely staff are brilliant and pool is beautiful and the surroundings. Now for the down side, the rooms need a lot of tlc and the food is cold unless you time it right when they bring it out from the kitchen. At to wait 2 days for for a kettle. 😩 wouldn’t come here again unless rooms were updated.
Booked for 10th-18th september but now saying hotel is closed for a revamp so will it be closed at this time or is it at the end of september?
Amazing staff the animation team were top tier the only issue we had was the beds aren't comfy but thats personal preference as they are rather hard make sure to bring 2 euros for popcorn during the evening shows as its not included
Having travelled extensively over the past 33 years, I can honestly say this is the worst all-inclusive hotel I have ever stayed at. The breakfast was just about acceptable, but everything else fell well below expectations. The eggs were consistently undercooked and slimy, the baked beans were of very poor quality and mixed with black beans, and the fruit selection was extremely limited. There was no fresh watermelon or pineapple—just bruised, low-quality fruit. The all-inclusive drinks were equally disappointing. The pool bar frequently had no ice available (around 90% of the time), and the drinks themselves were of poor quality. We ended up buying our own drinks from the local supermarket for most of our stay. The pool snack bar offered very little choice. The chicken nuggets contained what appeared to be grey-brown processed meat rather than chicken, and the quality was extremely poor. Toasted sandwiches were average at best, while waffles and pancakes alternated daily and were rationed to one per person. Lunch and dinner were by far the biggest disappointment. On more than one occasion, the meat was undercooked. Most concerning was the chicken satay, which was pink and cold in the middle. I had to take it away from my child before they could eat it. The lamb was incredibly bony, with sharp bone fragments throughout, as though it had been roughly chopped with a meat cleaver. Food choices were limited, and empty trays often took a long time to be replenished. We booked a 10-day stay but only ate in the hotel restaurant on three occasions because the food quality was so poor. Unfortunately, we also had a very unpleasant experience with the restaurant management. My husband had recently undergone knee surgery and was struggling to carry plates. I picked up a tray to help serve his meal. A male waiter approached and initially said I couldn't use it. After I explained my husband's condition, he agreed it was fine. However, the head waitress then came over. Despite me explaining the situation again, she took the tray from my hands. I requested to speak to the hotel manager, and she escorted me to his office. Although both the head waitress and the hotel manager spoke English, they chose to discuss me in Greek. Using Google Translate, I discovered the head waitress described me as "φρικτός" ("horrible") and "αγενής" ("rude"). I found this extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. The hotel manager was equally disappointing. Rather than listening to my concerns, he was arrogant, dismissive, and patronising throughout the conversation. The hotel itself is very dated and poorly maintained. The décor feels as though it has not been updated since the 1980s, and many areas appear tired and run down. While speaking to other guests around the pool, they mentioned they had stayed here a few years ago when the hotel operated under V Hotels. They explained it had recently been taken over by Smile Hotels and felt standards had declined significantly. Interestingly, many staff members were still wearing uniforms branded with the previous company. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. Between the poor food quality, disappointing all-inclusive offering, outdated facilities, and unacceptable customer service, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid this hotel if you value good food, customer service, and a pleasant holiday experience.
My honest opinion. Pros - Very clean Always free sunbeds Very close to beach and strip Lots of watersports on the beach Food ok ( had better but never went hungry. The weather was amazing in July so the pool was warm on entering. Snack bar outside - crepes and waffles my son loved. Ice cream in cones or pots. Drinks were fine. My son loved to get involved with the daytime activities and the evening entertainment with the animation team.
Cons - Music near pool bar was terrible. Repeated the same songs constantly.
Beds are extremely hard worst I've ever slept on. Snack bar outside - chips and nuggets were very poor. Chips hard and nuggets poor quality meat.
With all that being said we had a brilliant budget holiday. It's what you make it. A few tweaks and the place could be a 4* Have a wonderful time if you planning to go 😊
