Amour Holiday Resort

We were at the Amour Holiday Resort for 10 nights as a family with kids, and we can only recommend this hotel for the summer holiday. Clean rooms every day, towels change 2 times per week, service was great, clean whole area of the hotel and food was delicious (also for me as a vegetarian). There was evening program 3 times per week, we enjoy Greek night the most. Really kind staff and barman who recommended to us a great places for visit. Free parking for rented car, within 30-60 min by car we can see a lot of great places at Corfu. Hotel has a great location at Sidari, stright to the clean and calm beach (one minute walk behind the opposite restaurant), calm location but promenade is directly on the corner of the hotel. Canal d´Amour 5 minutes walk. We enjoy whole vacation here! :)

Firstly this is not a 4 star hotel, more like 3 stars at best. A fantastic located hotel which is set in lovely garden surrounding. Beach is literally across the road and ideally located with Canal D’Amour Village just a 100 yards away. We went as a couple for a 9 night relaxing holiday which we certainly got in this lovely resort. All the negative reviews on TripAdvisor about the hotel & resort did raise a few concerns which came to reality after arriving at 1:30am. The room was not what we expected having upgraded with Jet2 Holidays to a Deluxe Double with garden view. Advise to anyone thinking about the hotel, avoided room 112 which is in a semi-detached hut building right next to the main road. On arrival so late we were both exhausted so couldn't really do anything that early in the morning. The bathroom had faeces on the back of the toilt seat & faeces liquid on the floor. The way rain surrounds were pealing off & towel rack handle fell off in my hand. I can understand why the room was so filthy when I witnessed the 2 Chinese cleaners just sitting outside on a handily placed table & chairs just chatting away out of site from management. A visit to the reception at 7am to complain, the lovely receptionist arranged a new room 414 which was immaculate. From then on we had a fantastic time at the hotel. The food isn't A lacarte by any stretch of the imagination, choice was difficult essentially for my wife who isnt a great lover of pork. The outside grill where the website described chef carved meats was not open even though it was August, the choices were only from the small buffet area. The small cream cakes they serve for desert were fantastic. Now for the really great things about the hotel, the location as previously stated is absolutely fantastic, the hotel staff (except the Chinese agency cleaners) we're very friendly & helpful. Special praise must go to the best barman i have ever met, Mani who made our stay fantastic. The entertainment is 3 times a week & was good. Would we stay a t this hotel again ? I would say yes for a reasonable price as it was a totally chilled relaxing holiday. We are fully prepared for another visit having seen to the pro's & con's. Location is unbeatable & pool area exceptional with decent drinks on offer at the bar. Beer & wine on help yourself tap, previous comments state that the drinks were watered down, I didn't have any issues expecting that you were being served local spirits rather than premier brands. Unforgettable holiday with so many happy memories & frequent visits to our table from Nala the beautiful hotel cat.

This was my second time visiting Corfu, and this time I chose to stay in Sidari, at AMOUR.HOTEL I stayed for three days, and my experience was truly wonderful. I would like to congratulate the manager, Mrs. Kyriaki, for the excellent organization and smooth operation of the hotel. A special thank you to Manolis for your great drinks and hospitality! 🍹 Thank you all for making my stay so enjoyable. I would be very happy to visit again!
