I didn't read anyone's else's trip advice, so only basing this on my experience. If zero was the worst and ten was the best I'd happily put down an overall 8 out of 10. So my experience here at Paleokastritsa Palace Hotel was a good one, can't say the decor was to my taste but that didn't affect my stay. The room we were given was probably a 6 out of 10, the view was lovely overlooking the sea and rooftop pool, the air-conditioning was needed and worked well,as it was 33° most days. The room was let down by the out dated bathroom, a really high bath which was a little dangerous if the bathroom floor was wet ,it had an old shower curtain and brown furniture. There was a lot of dust in the room, but overall we were happy with the room. More 2 star than 4 star. The cleaning staff came every morning to make the beds and if needed clean towels, replace used tea, coffee, etc. All the staff here couldn't have been more helpful, we felt they tended to our every need, always smiling and a hello, so ( 10 out ot 10 well done everyone.) Now the food : That's down to your own expectations, We had good days and better days but found it all OK and plentiful and again the staff were lovely and helpful. There was help yourself drinks in the restaurant, the wine wasn't the nicest, and coffee machine was turned off in the evenings. The dress code really needs to be looked at, as many like ourselves dressed up to go to dinner where others arrived in flip flops and a vest, Which was not what I wanted to see while eating. The entertainment was 3 times a week and consisted of a Greek night, bingo and quiz night, and a singer. This hotel is on the side of a hill so believe me if you have any difficulty walking up steps it might not be for you. Saying that there is a very small lift. Overall 8 out of 10 for the hotel and 10 out of 10 for the staff.
Amazing service and great staff, the view from our suite was absolutely amazing - especially during sunset. The restaurant was quiet and food very up to standard. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Location is great for a short walk to local beach’s and bars
I really don’t understand why this place doesn’t have a higher rating! Everything was perfect from start to finish.
Lovely staff, a great location, and very nice accommodation. Everything was welcoming and well looked after.
A special mention to Eleni, she was simply the best! ⭐️
Very well done to the whole team. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back. See you next year!
Amazing rooms and service. Eleni at the reception gave us the best room with amazing view. The food was amazing and the pool was clean and the coctails spectacular.
This is listed as a 4 star hotel but is so poor in quality. We had to turn down the first room because of the sewage smell. Was offered another room which was only a single (there are 2 of us). Turned that down for the third room. The rooms are unfinished in decor. Skirting not painted. Cushions ripped. Tiles in bathroom uneven. Grout slapped on haphazardly. Instructions wrong for safe. the toilet window opened onto the hallway to the other rooms. The decor in the hotel was just as bad. Light fittings hanging down. The swimming pool tiles have a ring of slime all around the edge. The people who work there are very polite but have no knowledge of the area. We were told the town was open which after a 40 minute drive was closed. the views were spectacular but you cant take credit for that. I am not complaining for compensation this is just an honest assessment of my opinion
