The family-friendly hotel enjoys an ideal situation frontline to the pebbly beach of Messonghi on the eastern coast of Corfu Island,Β Β between the unspoilt greenery and lush mountains on one side and the eternal blue of the Ionian Sea on the other side. It is located between the villages of Messonghi and Moraitika. Corfu Town is about 22km away and can get reached within 45minutes by public bus.
The hotel offers classically decorated rooms, amenities include wireless internet access and a furnished balcony or terrace with unobstructed views of the landscaped garden or the sea. Children will love the various children's pools, the playground, the playland, the mini-club as well as other activities. There are 2 outdoor pools (2 adult pools and 1 mini aquapark), a wide range of sports facilities, a spa, restaurants and bars. A great hotel for couples and families with children
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Very poor management, food tasteless, no many options and chaotic. Swimming pool life guards need to be replaced, no safety, they always on theirs phones or smoking. Yesterday there was a man complaining of the safety of childrens to the life guard and was ignored, a man sliding more than half of the pool putting children in danger, and life guards instead of stopping him made children move. Very unprofessional, the poor family went to call the manager but nothing happened, when they left the man came back to do the same, they returned and the life guard informed him, unprofessional and putting customers in danger. It was in the children pool and that man was going on the slide every 5 min so everyone had to move every 5 min. I'm glad I have left and never go back.
Excellent atmosphere in the restaurant with fantastic people helping and greeting especially Agis-Panos
Agis-Panos always provides excellent service, always smiling and ensuring his guests have everything they need! π #Service #Hospitality #Excellence
Just back from 6nights at Canvas by Mitis, and we had a lovely time. We stayed in the River block and had a pool and distance sea view. Room was a little bit small for the 3 of us but we made it work (other than sleeping and getting ready didnt actually spend any time in there). Room and bathroom, were very clean and comfortable. they did smell a bit of drains but was ok as long as you kept the bathmat over the floor drain.
All the staff are excellent, very friendly, hard working and helpful. Lots of activities going on across the day and evening which our 7yr old daughter enjoyed. Kids club was a bit samey, and she did spend a lot of time colouring rather than the timetable of activities that was advertised but the staff in there were lovely and very welcoming.
The colour party was brilliant and probably our favourite night, great atmosphere with all guests and staff coming together.
Food was good, not the best but always found something we liked. Beach Restaurant was our preferred for evening as it was quieter than the main one. The snack bars are great for lunch but be prepared to que for a while during peak lunch times.
Lovely location right on the beach and definitely worth getting the little boat across the river to Messonghi for a walk around.
Personally, we did find the hotel a bit big and busy for us, and had to spend a lot of time queuing for drinks at all bars (not because the staff weren't working hard enough, just the number of guests in the hotel). Overall though we did have a lovely week away and would recommend to families.
We discovered this wonderful beachside restaurant early in our holiday and found ourselves returning several times for both lunch and evening tea. The location is simply stunning, set right on the beautiful Ionian Sea with breathtaking views that make every meal feel special. The food was consistently delicious, with a great selection of fresh, authentic dishes. What really made our visits memorable, though, was the fantastic Greek staff. They were genuinely welcoming, friendly and attentive, making us feel like valued guests every time we visited. The manager is fantastic and cannot do enough to help.
The restaurant is spotlessly clean, well maintained and has a relaxed atmosphere that perfectly complements its idyllic beachfront setting. Whether you're stopping by for a leisurely lunch or enjoying dinner as the sun sets over the sea, this is a place not to be missed.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!
