Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have used this hotel daily for the past 3 weeks. It’s small but very very clean with a lovely swimming pool. We eat here regularly and the food is good, especially the house sandwich at lunchtime and the lamb shank in the evening. Coffee is lovely as well as the Cider and Carafe of Red Wine.
More importantly the staff under the leadership of Makis are all commendable. There are too many to mention. They feel like my friends.
A lady whose husband died having stayed at another resort and was in ICU for 2 weeks stayed here 8 days. All the staff were compassionate. Although I’m not staying here, as we have a yacht in Gouvia Marina, this place is just Magical!
Well done to all the staff, especially the day staff Dimitra and Stamitris, and the evening crew, Thomas, George, Michael, Makis (and a dark haired girl who I don’t know her name) and the others on reception and in the kitchen.
We usually stay in Ipsos but wanted somewhere closer to town this time.
The hotel is right on the number 7 bus route and is only about 20 minutes from town.
Because we were early in the year the restaurant and bar were not open yet which was a shame.
The room was very nice and the pool area was fantastic.
All the staff were friendly and helped in any way.
It’s close to Gouvia marina and all the restaurants and bars.
We would definitely stay again and can recommend it to anyone.
Nice hotel in the centre of the town near the marina. Unfortunately to early in the season to see it at its best but we will return. The staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and quiet or our room eas although it backed onto a road.
Visited here for a cocktail on our final evening in Kontokali . Lovely cocktail in fabulous oasis. Very attentive owner and staff and superb meal. Made our last evening very special and would return without doubt !
We have just returned from an amazing time staying at the Telesilla hotel. We booked a last minute getaway and were so lucky to get availability at the Telesilla. It is a family run hotel and the entire staff are just amazing. Our only regret is we didn’t start eating at the hotel in the evenings until night 3, we then couldn’t go anywhere else! The food is sensational. From the breakfast to the evening meals, it’s just delicious. The evening menu is full of family home cooked traditional recipes and honestly it’s the best food I’ve ever eaten in Corfu. The atmosphere is great fun, the owners and the waiting staff are really fun, friendly and attentive but not imposing. The hotel is situated in a great location with the marina a short walk. There is also a car/bike hire directly outside, family run who are equally as lovely as the hotel. My husband and I like a gym and found a friendly, well equipped gym just a 10 minute walk who were more than happy to allow us a daily pass. The hotel is immaculate and the rooms beautifully clean, with a very comfy bed and great aircon. The hotel has a gorgeous Moroccan style vibe. If you drive past on the main road you’d never realise what a stunner this place is. The pool area is beautiful and again immaculately clean. We have stayed previously at the Cooks Club, a large 5 star hotel down the road, and honestly the Telesilla is head and shoulders above in every way. We are already booking for next year to return with our teenagers who we know will love it as much as we did. Thank you for making our holiday so great! Rhian and Jay x x
