The scenic fish taverns and bars as well as the shops of the popular holiday resort of Gouvia are within walking distance. Corfu Town with its archaeological sites is only 6 km away and can be reached within a short drive. A wonderful place for a beach holiday.

Lovely hotel with great views
A lovely hotel, very clean and staff very friendly. Lovely position and outstanding views Breakfast was nice but drinks afterwards a little expensive. Would have been nice to offer a drinks package or something Entertainment wasn’t great too so it was very quiet at night with little atmosphere which was a shame

Wonderful hotel with exceptional staff
We came home on Friday after a fantastic 10 night stay. The hotel is beautiful and immaculate, amazing food and drinks and exceptional staff. We stayed in a garden room which was perfect, really spacious and excellent air con (complimentary). Glad we didn’t upgrade to a sea or bay room - really no need in our opinion! Special shout out to Giannis at the Marina Food court. He knew our regular drink and food order, and our room number (734) without asking and he was so lovely. The two gentlemen at breakfast were delightful and the lovely young lady who served us our morning lattes and afternoon beers by the pool was so smiley and friendly- shame we didn’t get to say goodbye on our last day. The spa was a special treat and Kiki gave the best massages I have ever had - what a kind and gorgeous lady - the highlight of my trip. Should also mention the incredible breakfast buffet! Different choices every day and the biggest selection of cooked food, cereals, fruit, bread, pastries I’ve ever seen… just amazing. Corfu Old Town is an easy bus journey away and well worth visiting in the evenings for drinks and dinner. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful 10 days in beautiful Corfu - we hope to return one day.

Still amazing
Just returned from our sixth visit to this wonderful hotel. We received a warm welcome back from Constantina in reception and we soon discovered that all the staff continue to be friendly and efficient. Special mention to Costas and his team in the Horizon restaurant where the food continues to be of a very high standard. Valentina in particular was exceptional. Ben, Angela and all the bar staff, especially Tassos, provided outstanding service. We loved our room with a private pool. Air conditioning was perfect and the room was always cleaned immaculately on a daily basis. The location of the hotel is superb, right on the beach, and it's so convenient to order and be served drinks and snacks without moving from your sunbeds. We celebrated our 56th Wedding Anniversary at the fine dining Asterias restaurant where after a delicious chateaubriand we were presented with a special Anniversary cake. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for a wonderful holiday. We look forward already to our seventh visit.

Great stay in Corfu Greece
Great resort, staff is very helpful and attentive, the sea is calm and very clean, the beach is wide and sandy. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Family holiday
Second visit to Kontokali this time in August with the family 6 adults 2 children 8 yrs and 18 months As we had experienced the hotel as a couple last year we were happy to see standards still high Cleanliness, happy helpful staff and good food ( only had breakfast and bought lunch there most days at marina bar) Everything cooked fresh and lots of choice Bit of feedback - just personal feelings and hope you dont take me being too critical Me and my husband love the beach so we were not affected by this but i think the swimming pool is too small for the hotel size particularly in august when lots of families there My daughters family struggled for sunbeds round the pool probably not an issue if you are there out of high season The walk to the marina was difficult for the children and pram due to the many holes in the road and pavement ( be aware no pavement on road leading to hotel) this is nothing to do with the hotel but something to be aware of You definitely need a torch at night to show up the holes and be careful We had a great holiday and recommend this hotel fully
