Corfu Imperial Grecotel Exclusive Resort

Our family group of eight adults have just returned from a wonderful stay at this hotel, where we had a four-bedroom villa. From the very beginning, communication was excellent. Transfers to and from the hotel were easily arranged, making our arrival and departure completely stress-free. The villa itself was fantastic. It gave us a real sense of privacy and seclusion, while still being only a couple of minutes’ walk from anywhere in the hotel we wanted to go. There was also always the option of using a golf buggy, which was particularly helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of choices. We would especially like to thank Jessi (apologies if we have the spelling wrong!), who somehow managed to remember eight different coffee orders and had them right every morning — such a lovely personal touch! Our biggest thanks, however, go to Chrisa in the Mon Repos restaurant. One member of our group is coeliac and requires a completely gluten-free diet. Chrisa appeared almost as if by magic whenever we arrived, immediately offering alternatives that the chef could happily prepare. She was incredibly thorough in ensuring that everything was safe and free from gluten. Her care and attention made such a huge difference to our stay, and we are extremely grateful to her. Our villa also had access to a private beach with reserved sun loungers, shared between just a few villas. Nick, from the beach team, was another outstanding member of staff. He regularly brought us drinks and wonderful fruit platters, both on the beach and around our private pool. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We also enjoyed ordering room service to our terrace for some fabulous lunches, with gluten-free options always available. All of the waiting staff were fantastic. When we occasionally struggled with the App, we were able to liaise with Mirella via WhatsApp, who was incredibly helpful. Mirella also arranged transfers for us into Corfu Old Town in the evenings, and we were particularly grateful that she managed to arrange for us to keep our villa until we left the hotel in the late afternoon on our final day. That made our departure so much more relaxed. Another daily highlight was the Gelateria — definitely do not miss it! We were also given a tour of the lovely spa facilities. Although we didn't make extensive use of the spa, we really enjoyed the excellent gym, yoga session and, especially, the fabulous aqua aerobics. We also used the watersports centre, where the team were extremely helpful and friendly. Overall, what really stood out to us was the quality of the staff throughout the entire hotel. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive and genuinely keen to make our stay special. A beautiful destination, a wonderful villa and, above all, an exceptional team of people who made our family holiday so memorable. Thank you to everyone for such a fantastic stay — we hope to return!
