The hotel is surrounded by lush evergreen gardens and is located just 150 m. from the beach of Gouvia, near the old Venetian shipyards.
Originally built in 1986, the hotel was renovated in 1996 and is a peaceful, well-maintained, family-run business with a friendly atmosphere and excellent service, offering a relaxing and carefree holiday. It comprises a total of 25 guest rooms. It offers an entrance hall with reception, a restaurant, a bar, a snack bar, an automatic telephone operator, safety deposit boxes and currency exchange. There is also a terrace, a lounge with TV, central heating and free private parking. Room service is also available.
The comfortable heated rooms come with private bathroom, direct dial telephone line and pool or village view balconies. They also feature individually adjustable air conditioning and central heating. Extra beds and baby cots are available.
There is an outdoor swimming pool, complete with sun loungers, parasols, freshwater showers and a poolside snack bar.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
A great holiday. Lovely friendly staff who just let you get on with your holiday. Spotless room .Just a great relaxing place to stay. No problem getting a sun bed . Perfect breakfast.
First impressions were great, lovely lobby area…..staff were very friendly and welcoming! Everywhere was spotlessly clean! Room was basic but for what we paid, it was to be expected……again, lovely and clean! Mattress was very hard on the first night but after asking for a topper, they were on it within half an hour…..could not do enough for you! Breakfast was very nice, plenty of choice for a small hotel! The pool and pool area was beautiful, my only concern was that there were no signs for pool depth…..which is always difficult to tell with the eye! After being in a short time, I realised one end is a lot more shallow than the other……I’d hate for someone to dive into the shallow end….so a few signs dotted about would be very beneficial for the hotel and guests! Gorgeous toilets and we were even given the use of a shower room for free the day of our departure! A great little hotel.
Just arrived yesterday, room very small and basic th inn but Bathroom so small you could shower on the loo. Breakfast adequate but cold scrambled eggs aLovely coffee. Had a walk around Gouvia returning all to hotel at around 2 pm to find the very few sun beds all occupied spoke to manager on phone who promised more sunbeds today. So on my birthday day sat on floor need I say more…
Just spent a week here, it was a fantastic hotel. Rooms are nice and clean, breakfast is good with a decent selection of choices. Staff are friendly and the location is perfect for all the restaurants and bars, 2 minute walk to the beach. I'll certainly stay here again
My sister and I booked here for a wee 4 nighter back in Sept. The hotel is spot on. Spotlessly clean, decent sized room and comfortable beds. As someone who is disabled wuth significant mobility issues the location of the hotel us fantastic. You're literally in the resort. The only downside was the bathroom, it was tiny and had no curtain or full enclosed screen so we weren't able to shower with the head up. We had to take it down, shower/lather up then clean down as the floor would be flooded had we not. But we made do, it wasn't a deal breaker and certainly hasn't put us off coming back. So much so we've booked for a week this September. The staff are lovely and are such hard workers. The place smells clean too which is so nice. The breakfast was good. Albeit a limited choice but still good and we never left the breakfast area hungry. There aren't a load of loungers by the pool but we never struggled to get one as I think as the hotel is a stones throw from the beach the majority of people went there. There is a room on the ground floor that would be ideal for me as there'd be minimal walking involved so I emailed them, explaining my situation and they've said they'll allocate that room to me which reassures me. Gouvia is a quiet resort with a few bars but mainly restaurants and a few shops so if you're after a bit of a wild one the Gouvia isn't for you. If good food, a few shops and watching the world go by the it is for you. Over the road us a bar called Dreams who get some great tribute acts on but as bars are not 10 a penny in Gouvia I'd recommend getting there early for a seat as people were spilling out the doors trying to get in. So in summary, a great little basic but impeccably clean hotel. Would I go back....well I am so yes. Are we looking at 2027 prices...also yes!
