We had the best time here. It was early season so not at full capacity. Our room 633 was lovely. We stuck to the lagoon pool which was clean, cold due to being early May but refreshing! The staff were all without exception friendly and attentive. Food was excellent we stuck to the buffet as it had plenty of variety. Bar had a good selection and nice cocktails. We would return. Thank you.
Overall, we had a lovely holiday, but I don't feel it quite lived up to the price we paid, so I'd rate it 4/5 rather than 5/5.
The hotel is clean, the grounds are nice, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We travelled with an 8-month-old and a 6-year-old, and there were definitely some positives for families. The baby facilities were excellent – the hotel provided a baby bath and a bottle steriliser, which made travelling with an infant much easier.
The food was good, but I was expecting more authentic Greek cuisine. It felt quite bland at times and lacked the local flavours we were hoping for.
The drinks were nice, although they weren't very consistent. Cocktails made by the outdoor bar team were noticeably better than those made in the indoor bars, which was a little disappointing.
The kids' club was okay. Sofia and Despina were both lovely with the children and deserve a special mention, but the club itself felt under-resourced. There were very few toys available, and simple activities such as colouring paper and pens weren't set out, which made it feel less engaging than expected.
Housekeeping was also a bit hit and miss. Some days the room was cleaned well, while others it wasn't at all
Overall, we had a good holiday and made some wonderful family memories, but for almost £6,000 out of season, I simply don't think it offered good value for money.
Absolutely fabulous hotel, Amalia is absolutely amazing she provides an amazing and kind service every morning with all the family looking forward to seeing her at breakfast
We’ve just returned from a brilliant family holiday in Corfu, we’re a family of 4 with a 9yo and 7yo and stayed in a preferred club sea view room. The position of room was perfect as it was a short walk to the main hotel and buffet and a short walk down to the beach and infinity pool. The hotel is built into the hill so there were inclines and steps so if your mobility isn’t great this probably isn’t the hotel for you.
The surroundings are breath taking. Staff were very attentive from start to finish, there was only a short transfer from the airport so ideal for families.
The hotel was beautiful, modern, well maintained and clean. The rooms were spacious and the balcony on the preferred club sea view room was a great size. The hairdryer was fine but if you have thick or long hair you might want to take your own, also bring your own shampoo/conditioner, the hotel does provide these but they weren’t great.
The preferred club option is as great, the kids loved using the lounge and the extra sun loungers would be a bonus during busy months. We stayed the first week in July, the hotel wasn’t full but it was getting busier as the week went on. We always managed to get sun loungers but the lagoon pool in particular was busier.
We really enjoyed the food, the main buffet isn’t huge but it is definitely quality over quantity. Id seen a traffic light system shared by the hotel for busy times and tried to stay within the green or amber times. On occasion we visited during busier hours and it was slower. The only à la carte restaurant we used was the Greek, the food was nice but the service was chaotic. I forgot to sign in with our room number on the app so restaurants weren’t showing, once we signed in some options were available but some were still fully booked.
A highlight of our holiday was the boat trip with Spiros, you book with him at the little jetty at the hotel beach. We booked the Corfu Old Town trip, really reasonably priced and great fun. We went down around 9:30am and booked a few days in advance. Highly recommend this!
Kids club was brilliant, the two enjoyed it and I was surprised by how quiet it was!
We would definitely book again, great balance of nice hotel and great for families. The only negative was the internet and phone line in room stopped working on three occasions, when we mentioned it to staff it was quickly resolved but there must be an underlying problem for it to happen repeatedly. Not a big deal but frustrating when tired kids want to watch their tablets.
Overall great stay and would highly recommend to families!
This was our second visit to this hotel. We decided to return given a really enjoyable family holiday in 2024.
Arriving at the hotel was a massive disappointment on this occasion. Due to flight delays, we arrived at the hotel around 01.00hrs. There was no staff member available to check us in at the Preferred Club check in desks so we all had to stand about reception whilst one member of staff struggled to check in five different groups of guests.
There was no welcome drink offered, no cold towel offered and it really was a very poor first impression. No hotel information was provided at check in and we were basically charged the tourist tax and given a room key.
Our room was as expected, Preferred Club double which was well appointed with a large balcony with lovely views over the water. There is a lack of surface space in the rooms to place items on.
We didn’t utilise the lagoon pool and concentrated our time by the pool down by the water. The pool area was good, waiting staff were very good at taking drink orders and the bar staff were excellent. The Preferred Club pool area was fine albeit the pool water did look rather cloudy. We felt that was replicated in the other pools around the resort also.
We managed to secure restaurant bookings on every night of our stay and generally speaking the food was to a good standard, we never had a bad meal in any of the restaurants. We only used the buffet for breakfast. The buffer can get really busy and for a hotel of this size, the buffet area is relatively small.
The staff at this hotel are all polite and welcoming and genuinely appear to enjoy their jobs.
Overall, another enjoyable stay at this hotel although I’m not sure we would return for a third visit.
