Dreams Corfu Resort and Spa

As a first family all inclusive holiday the hotel was amazing. The staff kept us well supplied with drinks throughout the days we were by the pool. The site was always clean and the rooms were clean and just what we needed for us. I would recommend visiting as I’ve never been so relaxed while on a family holiday. The spa is definitely worth a visit. I had two massages during my stay.

We have just got back from a very wonderful and special week away.

This was our second time at the hotel. We visited last September and loved it so much that we opted to return this year!

Reading some of the reviews prior to our arrival, I was a little bit nervous as they did not seem to reflect our previous stay at all.

However, we had an amazing holiday in this wonderful hotel and I feel it is only right to write this review!

Room:

We paid for a double sea view room and were upgraded to a preferred room (albeit did not have access to preferred extras, but this did not bother us).

The room was absolutely gorgeous - the view never gets old and, for two of us, there was more than enough space/storage.

Pool:

We spent every day by the adults only pool which we absolutely loved. We could always get a sunbed and the waiter service at the pool was spot on.

Food/drinks:

Reading some of the reviews about the food, I would think we had stayed at a different hotel!

The buffet remains ones of the best hotel buffets we’ve eaten at. Our experience was fresh, hot, varied dishes every day. There was always staple options (chips, rice, pasta etc.) if the other options weren’t for you.

We also ate at the à la carte restaurants at lunch and dinner:

• Seaside Grill/Oceana (lunch and dinner) - amazing views and lovely food.

• Yia Yia (dinner) - food was lovely and the live music was a great touch!

• Pappous (dinner) - again, food was lovely and a nice setting by the infinity pool.

• Trattoria (lunch) - really nice pizza and nice to get out of the sun for a little while!

• Barefoot Grill (lunch) - a really nice option for lunchtime which we really enjoyed.

The drink options are fabulous and the spritz’s are definitely the best I’ve had!

Yes, wasps can be annoying but it is clear the hotel really do try to eliminate this as much as possible. We found eating later (8/8.30) usually was the best time for avoiding wasps on an evening.

Entertainment:

We opted for the live music at the seaside/sugar reef bar rather than the theatre. Generally entertainment on holiday is not really our vibe and we would prefer to play a game of UNO with a couple of drinks! However the live music at the seaside and sugar reef bar was a lovely experience!

General:

Overall the hotel met all of our expectations (which were high following our previous trip to the hotel) and we had an amazing holiday.

The hotel is clean and the daily housekeeping worked great for us.

The night time chocolates on our pillows was also a lovely touch!

A special shout out to Anna Starodubtseva (Guest Experience) who helped coordinate my now fiancée’s proposal plans! She helped coordinate restaurant reservations, delivery of flowers from a local florist and generally did everything to ensure the proposal was a complete surprise and went smoothly!

We also went to Corfu Town one evening for a meal which was lovely. The hotel was helpful in arranging taxis for us.

We had an amazing holiday and the hotel will always hold a very special place in both our hearts. We will definitely be back!

Have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing week at Hyatt Ziva Corfu. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful, we even received an unexpected upgrade to a room in their 'Preferred club' building which was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. While we did visit the themed onsite restaurants, the World Café buffet is probably the best all-inclusive restaurant that we've ever visited. The food always looked fresh and the dishes were almost constantly being reloaded, with a fabulous variety and plethora of choices. The desserts were fabulous and tasted as good as they looked. Hardworking Maria looked after us so well when we sat outside and was a delight to chat with. The resort grounds were beautifully landscaped and well maintained. The choice of pools and beaches, all with multiple sunbeds, meant there was no pressure to get the best spot. And the waiter drinks service was wonderful and greatly appreciated. The views from hotel's waterfront location on Gouvia bay are idyllic and the noise of incoming aircraft (depending on the wind direction) was the only slight detracting feature. Overall we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
