Positive - the lobby is great. The view is amazing with the airport.

Negative - let me count the ways

1. Paper cup instead of glasses
2. No complimentary water at all.
3. Staff are very rude. Specially this girl Maria.

First encounter - we were having the buffet dinner. We were five on the table. She asked 3 of us for our drinks and we ordered. She was about to leave and I reminded her that she did not asked the 2 ladies. She snapped, they have hot water. Hot Water is not Drinks Order like Wine, Soda etc. But I let it go.

Second encounter - her again. I went to the bar to get some drinks and no one was there. I might have missed the sign on the time they were open so I found her cleaning one of the function room. I asked if the bar was open and what time it will be opened and she said go to the pool bar. Since this was the second time encounter. I said that is not my question. My question was what time does the bar open. She said when they are done at the pool bar they will come up. Again I said what time is that. She said she does not know. And when I told her she was quite rude. She started walking towards me for an argument. I told her off of course. But this is not staff behavior in a hotel even if it is only 4 star.

Just horrible service. I do not know how management train their staff.

Just back from a week here — literally got home today and what a gorgeous hotel! The location is great, just a 15-minute bus ride into Corfu Town and around a 15-minute walk to the famous Sky Bar. The Sky Bar is lovely to visit, although almost €9 for two Cokes! Still, it’s a beautiful walk and worth doing. The hotel entrance is pretty impressive, and the pool area is more than adequate, very chilled and relaxing. The pool bar is great, with everything you’d expect at fairly decent prices. Around €18 for a bottle of wine and roughly €7 for a beer. The food menu is fairly standard, with toasties, pizza, burgers and the usual options. The staff really deserve a mention. Every single person we encountered was friendly, welcoming and always smiling. Nothing was ever a problem. I especially loved the lady in the hotel shop — she was just lovely! We originally booked a garden view room on the advice of previous reviews. The greenery was lovely, just as you’d expect, but we could hear the planes without actually seeing them. As we’re plane fans, we asked reception if we could change to a runway view room. They were more than happy to help. If you love planes, you will absolutely love this hotel! The noise wasn’t an issue for us at all. In fact, watching the planes coming and going was pretty spectacular. Our room was no. 425, for anyone interested in the runway views. The runway view is almost the same as the one from Sky Bar — only you can enjoy it with your own beer or glass of wine on your balcony! We booked bed and breakfast, and the food was good, with plenty of choice. The rooms were extremely comfortable — quite luxurious, actually — and cleaned every day. There were USB charging points, a big TV, Wi-Fi and a spacious balcony. Perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening and a wee game of cards. There’s also a small supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away, which had everything we needed. The bus stop for Corfu Town is right outside the hotel, with buses running roughly every 20 minutes. It cost €2 each for the journey, compared with around €30 for a taxi! Buses stop at 11pm, so your taxi is an expensive one thereafter. I understand you can buy a weekly bus pass, so ask at the hotel reception for details. Car hire is also available at the hotel if you prefer to explore by car. Just be aware that the bus timetable changes from November. Overall, we had a fantastic week and would happily return. A lovely, relaxing hotel, great staff, a convenient location and, for plane lovers like us, an absolute bonus! Would definitely recommend it.
