Mitsis Belvedere

I came here solo on an all-inclusive holiday. I arrived around midnight and paid €50 for the tax which was expected for five nights. I was given a room on the second floor. The outside pool area and the reception and the restaurant were all lovely and clean. The restaurant was also as expected. The all-inclusive cocktails and drinks were great and you had access to the drinks dispensers which contain a sparkling water, Coca-Cola, orange juice, apple juice, etc. There was also an ice cream bar which you could help yourself to at any time during the day. There was also an ice cream bar at the beach across the road. As you went upstairs into the upper floors of the hotel they were quite dirty and dated as if they hadn’t been updated since those opened. My bedroom door was damaged. I raised this and was told to ask for another room the following day as there were no rooms available. I was given a key to the hotel door. The bathroom was to a decent standard, except for the fact the shower door leaked. The furniture was extremely old and creaky and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The room smelt like dirt and dust. There was a really old wardrobe. The safe didn’t work so I didn’t use it. There was a television however it kept making decisions on its own so I think this was due to the thin walls of the hotel and it was picking up remote control options from other rooms which was very annoying. You can clearly hear everything that happens in the hotel corridor and other rooms whether they are down the corridor or above or below you. Doors slamming kept waking me up so I didn’t get one decent nights sleep.

I barely got any sleep in this hotel. My bed was extremely creaky due to it being so old and at one point the second twin bed, my bed was adjoined to randomly broke while I was sat on it? Bear in mind I am not an oversized nor overweight female. Really really old furniture like from the 70’s or something. The front desk guy said there was a sandwich in the fridge complimentary but it was old and mouldy and gross looking. Dead fly in the fridge. Only thing modern in the room was the TV!!!

I didn’t manage to get a sunbed near the pool because the guests woke up at around 6 am to leave all of their belongings on the sunbed whilst they did what they wanted before sitting around like sea lions at the pool.

The food was very average. After a day or two I got bored and decided to dine elsewhere or get the bus into town. The lunch and the dinner are practically the same. The breakfast is probably the most tolerable.

Beautiful view from the front of the hotel lobby. The beach across the road is private and was beautiful the sea was warm and the beach itself was perfect. Staff at front desk are very helpful.

Would recommend taking the Bus into the Old Town for proper sightseeing it is beautiful!

Overall an average stay, the hotel was not comfortable to sleep in, food average and boring and it was very loud but good for all inclusive drinks and being on the beach I suppose If you don’t want to explore further. My AC was dirty and also leaking water. There is a supermarket next door with everything you need! Bus stop is 5 min walk away.

10/10, hope one day I will be back.

food was cooked great but not much selection at all considering it was spaghetti bolognaise for lunch and dinner everyday, the breakfast wasn’t the best as it was covered in grease, beds were creaky, indoor chair bolts were lose, the door has missing a screw on the door on the room side making it really lose, 2 matching rocky bedside tables the hotel sewage smell is really bad, the toilet had limescale inside, the sink plug got stuck, shower is one height, tiny and cannot be lowered unless you take it out of the holder so good luck if your short like me, Staff were very friendly and helpful cannot find a reason fault them, how ever when people downstairs in the seating area below us was ridiculously loud from midnight till 3 in the morning a lot of other guests weren’t happy, I thought there would be a time when you’d have to call it a day and go upstairs but I guess not ? Some guests would reserve sun beds with towels and not be at the pool until hours after not really fair on other guests who like to be by the pool pool was small would be better if there was 2 as there is a quite a few rooms, location was not convenient to get to Corfu old town as it was 30-40 minute bus Journey, taxi would be 20 minutes but wait times we had were a joke, there was not much to do activity wise, unless you book in advance they do offer a boat trip to watch the sunset on the pebble beach infront of the hotel. Entertainment was enjoyable even from your balcony if you have pool and sea view,

I have mixed emotions towards this hotel it was good and bad at the same time I don’t think it was enough for me to come back so for that 3 stars
