Conveniently situated in Agios Ioannis Peristeron, on the beautiful and bright island of Corfu, this stunning accommodation is the ideal place to stay when visiting this destination. Nestled on the green mountain, visitors will be enchanted by the breath-taking natural surroundings and the blue Ionian Sea that extends right in front of the establishment. Corfu’s town centre is 16 kilometres away and Corfu International Airport is at around 15 kilometres away. All the air-conditioned rooms are fully equipped with modern amenities such as a satellite TV and boast great views to the sea, the hotel’s swimming pool or the mountain. The property offers several dining venues such as a restaurant, a lobby bar and a pool bar. Among other facilities, travellers may pamper themselves with a refreshing swim at the saltwater, outdoor swimming pool.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Great staff, very helpful and a nice atmosphere, we found it to be clean. However the food is the same day in day out, warm not hot. The drink selection is very poor. The entertainment varies, the rooms are old fashioned, single pane so you can hear the music all night. We met some lovely people here. This is far from a 4 star hotel and I think our holiday companies need to look at this. As much as nice people, we did have a nice time and it was close to town however, we will not return. It’s all personal preference so this is my and my wife’s view.
We had such a great holiday here, mostly thanks to Lorna! She was so friendly and had the best energy, especially with the kids. They totally loved playing musical chairs with her and were so proud to win medals in the swimming competition. Her aqua gym classes were a blast, and her music playlist during the daytime and disco every night was awesome and kept us on our feet.
The only downer was the food. Management really needs to look into this because there just wasn't enough variety. We actually ended up spending a lot of extra money eating out because there was barely any enough selection.
Overall a lovely trip, just needs better food options!
The hotel is quite outdated so don’t expect immaculate rooms/ facilities. Location wise, it’s a bit isolated and only 1 shop nearby which is overpriced and owner not very friendly. A nightmare to get buses to visit Corfu Old Town which is very pretty by the way. As for Cleanliness, I wouldn’t say it’s that great because I had to literally ask the cleaners to clean our room because it wasn’t cleaned after 4 days. I wasn’t expecting it to be cleaned thoroughly everyday and bed sheets changed but at least I expected our toilet brushed daily, dirt marks on the sink cleared, or shower gel topped up or ashtray emptied just the basics really. But for 4 consecutive days since we checked in, our room seemed to be untouched that I had to ask the cleaner myself to clean it a bit. Noise level, we can clearly hear people outside our door but didn’t bothered us to be honest. Food wise was alright. I wasn’t expecting it to be Michelin star 😂 but all food choices were edible and most importantly didn’t give my husband diarrhoea like what happened to him in Turkey in this very fancy hotel with lots of food choices. I’d rather have basic food choices as long as it’s clean and not infested with E. Coli 😂 the beach very pebbly but water was very clear. Me & my husband really enjoined snorkelling and feeding the fishes with bread. As for the staff, all were amazing and very welcoming. They go above and beyond for the guests even prepared a little birthday corner decors with buntings, cake, candles and staff even sang happy birthday for the birthday celebrants. I mean who does that nowadays so that was an extra bonus. Entertainment was ok, I did enjoy the last night with traditional Greek dances. Overall experience was very good and the value for money is top notched. Will I visit again? Definitely! But will probably hire a car because transportation was doing my head in 😂 Thank you to all the staff of Belvedere for making out holiday enjoyable. And our strappy teenage daughter is all giddy with her new boy text mate 🤣
Overall a nice experience however rooms are a bit of hit and miss
Firstly you gotta be a mountain goat to get up the steps although the view was a plus The staff very helpful though you can see there overworked and pleasant with it The food was repetitive as expected but coice was limited to pork or chicken the breakfast was very limited and was of limited choice and the bacon you could beat people with it was so hard never been away with no baked beans just red kidney beans the coffee machines were bean to cup but the coffee was poor quality theinstant coffee sachet was better .milk was sometimes available luckily the water was available all the time .the pool was undersized for the hotel and the drinks menu was pathetically the beer oh my good carling tastes better and that's crap . The hotel needs refurbishment the saff do try vry hard they were the shining light .Will i return not a hope
