This hotel is located towards the south of the island, in the famous tourist area of Benitses, 1.5 kms from the centre. It enjoys a quiet setting near the main road, with easy access to the beach and public transport links, which are just 50 m away. It is 15 kms from Corfu Town and 14 kms from Corfu International Airport. Renovated in 2009, this family-friendly resort hotel comprises a total of 33 rooms. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment are adequate to ensure the comfortable stay of all its guests. The very quiet standard rooms are clean and offer sea or mountain views. They are equipped with in-room amenities, which include a satellite TV and a balcony or terrace. This hotel features an outdoor, heated swimming pool and in addition, the hotel puts on entertainment programmes for adults and children.

An absolute gem
We arrived late at night and the restaurant was closed but the hotel had put salad and sandwiches in our room . We were checked in by the amazing Kelly who was a brilliant resource for our entire stay . The facilities are first class throughout and the staff so friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool , comfy sunbeds and the bar is poolside . Shout for George the bar man - lovely lad from Nepal . The restaurant was very very good lots of choice both healthy and sinful . Traditional Greek fare but if you want it a full English breakfast as well . The cleaning staff were diligent and very respectful keeping the lovely rooms and balconies spotless .Free shuttle bus to the village of Benitses driven by the hilarious Artan . The village has beaches bars restaurants and shops all superb. I would 100% recommend this superbly managed hotel .

We had an amazing stay at Lido Corfu Sun Hotel and would happily return. The hotel is spotless, well maintained, and offers a peaceful atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxing holiday.
The staff truly make this place special. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety every day, and the drinks and service at the bar were excellent.
The beach is just a short walk away, with crystal-clear water and beautiful surroundings. Overall, this was one of the best holiday experiences we've had in Corfu. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, welcoming, and well-managed place to stay.

Excellent experience
Absolutely wonderful stay. The location, staff and private beach were second to none. We arrived late to receive food in the room. They accommodated us with an extra bed at very short notice. The entertainment was very good and not expected. The shuttle Into Benitses was great. There was even a beautiful chapel in the grounds. The food was varied and always fresh and topped up. Great salad selection with olives and feta. Immaculately clean with water in the room each day. Cannot recommend enough. Sad to leave. We will definitely return.

Average 3 star hotel
Unfortunately our stay was not as expected. The hotel description is somewhat misleading. It is a 3 star at best.
The hotel is very quiet, ideal for the older clientele. There is no nightlife. There are a number of stairs. The private beach is a 10 minute walk along a very busy main road with no footpaths. There is a steep slope down to the beach which in fact is a wooden deck with sunbeds and umbrellas. To get into the sea is down a ladder. You will need sea shoes as it is very rocky.
The tavernas and shops are a 30 minute walk into Benitses, again along the busy road. The hotel does offer a free shuttle bus into the town but it is an old 7 seater which leaves at 10 am and picks you up at 1pm. Then again at 8pm and picks you up at 10.30pm. There is the No 6 local bus service which runs to Benitses to Corfu Town. Approx 30 minute journey. Nice day out but very busy.
The buffet restaurant is open for 2 hours at a time, breakfast until 10am, lunch until 2pm and dinner until 9pm. Outside of these times there are no snacks. Ice creams are not in the all inclusive package. The food is average. It’s self service at every sitting. Breakfast is the usual cereal, fruits or cooked breakfast. Most nights dinner is a repeat of lunch, with food tasting bland and lukewarm. Drinks are from machines including the wine. There is a restaurant five minutes walk up the road which is very nice. Bit pricey but worth it just to have some nice food and drink.
There is a pool bar but no indoor bar. So drinks are served in plastic cups and you have to sit around the pool all night. There is also no daytime/nightime entertainment!
Rooms are clean enough but trying to watch the TV gives you a sore neck as it is high on the wall and the bed has a high wooden headboard which is uncomfortable to lean on. The balconies have a table and chairs but are not private as there is no screening between balconies.
I’ve tried to give an honest review but I honestly don’t know who wrote the five star reviews. I suppose we all look for different things in a holiday!

Amazing authentic hotel.
We had a fantastic experience at Lidos Corfu. Unfortunately, our flight was cancelled, which left us in a difficult situation, but the manager, Makis, was incredibly kind and understanding. He allowed us to stay longer at the hotel without charging us any extra, which we were extremely grateful for.
The hotel itself was also exceptionally clean, and it was clear that a lot of care is taken to maintain it to a high standard.
A big thank you to Makis and all the staff for their kindness and hospitality during a stressful situation. We really appreciate everything you did for us and would highly recommend Lidos Corfu!
