Deliberate and elegant in design, is a classy 5* hotel with 240 rooms and suites giving emphasis to high living and comfort for both couples & families alike. 4 restaurants and 2 bars tailored to all tastes, 2 pools with cabanas and sunbeds, one kids pool, as well as a brand-new spa offering an upper-class relaxation. The interiors are lavishly designed to create a bold aesthetic that's impressive without being excessive; timeless yet contemporary.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Our one week stay here comes to an end in the morning, I would write this review when I get home but I rarely do so I thought I would give it a shot now.
Firstly the transfer from the airport is only 15 minutes, even on TUI transport - don’t like coaches very much so this was a big plus for me and it might be for you.
We were welcomed with a drink and a form to fill in. The room wasn’t ready but then we had arrived at lunchtime, we were assured that we would be contacted as soon as the room was available - yes you guessed we were not and at 2pm we collected our room key from reception and made our way to our 1st floor room overlooking the pool, the ocean and in the distance the coast of Albania - GORGEOUS.
The room was spacious with two singles in a front annex which we didn’t need or use but it was great extra space. Clean and well appointed it sported a mini bar refreshed daily tea coffee etc. Our package was all inclusive.
The standard of food and drinks was very good and all supported by a well trained and attentive staff - table service in the inside air conditioned and outside covered terrace - excellent in my opinion.
This is not an adults only hotel this brings the energy of younger and young people to the party - some adult only hotels! well if you know you know “care homes”
Now I would recommend this hotel to anyone it’s a bit isolated but it has everything that you could need
My gripe. Noise everywhere all of the time music, if that’s what you call it “techno pop” The hotel need to move on - ear buds - Spotify we don’t need the constant sound banging out of speakers everywhere all of the time or at least I don’t you may feel differently.
Entertainment is what you expect I know all the words to fly me to the moon every “artist” gave it a bash with many other “favourites” added for good measure.
Hope you find this helpful. Home tomorrow peace and quite.
We have just returned from a lovely and relaxing 7 night stay at this hotel, our first time there (31st August - 7th Sept). From the moment we arrived to a very warm welcome from Heidi and Kiki and all the Reception staff, and throughout our stay, the staff and the service we received were exceptional. Great location just 15 minutes from the airport and a 10 minute bus ride into Corfu Town at just 2 euro each way. The views of Albania and the bay were stunning and also great to see the cruise ships in dock with Corfu Old Town in the background. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. The room attendants work very hard and a big thankyou to Maria who helped us when we had a small issue with the door and she kept our room immaculate. Also, thankyou to Margarita from Housekeeping team who was very friendly and helpful. A great character! As for the food, I can honestly say it was by far the best All Inclusive hotel I have experienced anywhere. The food in Fiki Japanese Restaurant was wonderful and is well worth booking. Naiada buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner was amazing. There was always so much choice every day of freshly cooked food with live cooking stations, and although the hotel was fully booked, the restaurant never seemed too busy or chaotic. It was just fantastic and again the staff and service were brilliant. A big thankyou to Mairy who looked after us incredibly well in the restaurant every day. A Mano Pizza and Snack Bar had a great choice of baguettes, sandwiches etc and vey nice freshly cooked pizzas. The animation team were wonderful and a big shout out to Kea, Sasch and the team for their great Aqua Classes which were very popular. The resident ducks liked a dip as well 😀. Finally the Bars - the drinks and service at the main pool was always really good. Dimitrius and Alexandos made perfect cocktails and were always very friendly and efficient. Faye done a great job with pool service, always there when you needed a drink so thankyou Faye and the rest of the team. The Nymphy main bar was our favourite place to relax after dinner in the evenings. Entertainment was really good most nights but a bit low key on a couple of nights but they obviously have to cater for all tastes. There was entertainment at the Pavillion Pool area also with a fire show and Greek dancers. We would like to say a big thankyou to Christos in the Nymphy Bar who made amazing drinks and also to Spiros and Nikolas for looking after us so well every evening. What fantastic teams this hotel has! The management should be very proud of their staff. We enjoyed the hotel so much that on our return home we booked to go back next year and can't wait 😀
I had a wonderful massage experience at the hotel. with masseuse Popi S. She was very professional, and attentive and the massage was relaxing and exactly what I needed. I truly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend her!
Stayed from the 31st August to 7th September
Location On a beautiful sea front setting with wonderful views of the bay and Albania in the distance. Word of warning on roaming charges make sure you're mobile doesn't automatically pick the network. I got a nice £25 charge as mine connected to Albania.
15 minutes from the airport to the hotel which was great. This also meant you were pretty close to Corfu town. I and the wife walked in one day and it took 40-45 minutes, if you're fairly fit and mobile easy enough. On the Saturday night we got taxi in which the hotel sorted €20 each way. You can get the bus but if you're going out in the evening in your gladrags I'd get a taxi as the buses are fairly packed in.
Rooms
Nicely decorated and a decent enough size for two people. We had a sea view from which had great views and provided a beautiful setting for one of man's greatest pleasures, balcony cans!! You got two cans of alpha each day, three would of been nice . I had these between the time getting back to the room and going out for dinner. If you wish to get more cans, there's a Greek supermarket or Lidl down the road. Where you can get a pack of 6 for €5.50. I would recommend fix or mamos lager. Also got a nice bottle of red to sweeten the deal.
Food
Breakfast- There was a wide range of breakfast items each day. I can only comment on the porridge and the pancakes as I pretty had it everyday and it did the job. Wife seemed to enjoy hers
Dinner - Nice enough good selection of meat for myself from chicken to turkey to kebabs. I mostly just had a plate of meat (RIP the toilet) most days and the seasoning and spices of these meats were great. My wife (Borat voice) plate of salad and garnish looked nice if you're into salad.
Tea- Good selection again different theme each night which made the meaty experience I had each night very special. What made this hotel my wife's favourite out of any we stayed at so far was one the quality of the potatoes and the option of a warm desert with custard. (My wife is 33 not 83 FYI)
There's an adult section if you want to sit in it and avoid children but if you eat past eight you'll be grand in the main bit. If it bothers you that much just book an adults only.
Snack bar
Top quality pizzas and gyros and the added company of Wasps. Can't do much about them.
Staff Lovely and polite and were always coming around asking for drinks orders in you were on the loungers etc.
Other stuff
Plenty of loungers around never a struggle to get one. Especially on the beach hotel. Sea is nice and shallow but weirdly too warm for my liking (must be the global warming, poor fishes getting cooked)
Hotel entertainment During the day had plenty of activities going on. Finally on a holiday I got involved, must have done something right. I enjoyed beating some children at Bocce.
Evening entertainment- Nice musical numbers each night. But THERE'S ONLY SO MUCH ABBA A MAN CAN TAKE.
All in all a great place and would recommend to stay.
Came in very tense and not relaxed, left very relaxed and not tense! Therapist Sarah was professional, kept asking if I was okay and if the pressure was okay throughout, made sure I was very comfortable! This is my first time getting a massage. Was amazing.
