TWO DIFFERENT WORLDS
Sandy Villas guests share facilities of Sandy Beach resort next to it which is 3-4 star at best so it is not ideal. Positives:-
- Swim up pool rooms are nice and main pool at the Villas and pool bar are good.
- The Greek a la carte restaurants were nice.
- Restaurant staff were always very helpful and cleaning staff kept room very clean.
- Food was generally very good in the buffett and a la carte restaurants
- Nice well kept and maintained gardens.
- Adults only pool and snack bar by the beach was quieter and served good fresh food for lunch.
Negatives:-
- The main reception, lobby area and inside restaurant at the Villas are all shut down and not open for guests. The restaurant should be open for breakfast and dinner for Villa guests. Tui show pictures of these areas on their UK site but please note they are definitely not open.
- Therefore have a 10-15 minute walk to the main cattle market buffett restaurant at Sandy Beach. Massive and very noisy. The whole atmosphere here and all around the Sandy Beach resort areas is not that of a 5 star experience.
- Wine is awful. Think it is the boxed variety!!
- Beach very busy and sunbeds not very good quality with screws missing from frames etc.
- No mini bar in rooms at Villas just an empty fridge.
- In rooms you can hear noise from all surrounding rooms as not well built/insulated. Every toilet flush and shower running can be heard.
Unfortunately the business model that they are trying to run by mixing the two hotels together just does not work in practice. Sandy Villas is nice and has a good feeling but guests have to unfortunately leave there regularly to eat and drink and get to the beach and the 5 star experience is then left behind.

everything is perfect, life is beautiful, the setting is classy , the service was great, the waiters are very nice and smiling attentive and very vigilant about allergies the dishes were hearty and tasty
