A lovely hotel in a beautiful location right on the Ionian Sea!
The pool and bar area were clean and well maintained with the sea only meters away. You are able to take your drinks from the bar onto the sun loungers by the sea. The all inclusive drinks were lovely, all the staff in the bar, restaurant, cleaning staff and receptions were all very friendly!
The room we stayed in was small, but it was fine for me and my mam. We did hear of some people complain about the “openess” of the room, as in the toilet and shower are not separate - they of course do have a door! I can understand how this wouldn’t be for everyone. The balcony was a great size, there’s a small fridge for water etc and an onsite mini market.
My only small grievance was with our drop off and signage to reception. We were dropped off by the pool bar, there was no one to greet us, and the signage to the reception took us a little while to get to. The hotel is quite large. We travelled with TUI and their information board could do with some added info. We were under the impression we would be picked up where we were dropped off, there was no information on the TUI board, and we were in the wrong place! Thankfully the reception called me and we were picked up. Not everyone has an app etc.
All in all a fantastic relaxing holiday! Already decided to go back next year!!
We came for a 5 day break, the hotel is close to the beach and a short walk from a small town full of shops, restaurants. Unfortunately there wasn't much to do outside the hotel due to location, Corfu town is about 1 hour and half on the bus, however very cheap to get there!
The staff were lovely, especially the lovely waiters at the snack bar! However, I must say the bar staff by the infinity pool are quite rude and unprofessional. There was many times where we were questioned why we weren't drinking alcohol and almost felt forced to drink when we didn't want to. To put it politely they were cocky! There was a power cut in our hotel for around 2 hours and unfortunately there was only bottles of fizzy drinks, when I went to ask for a bottle of water from these guys they wanted me to pay, even though there was a power cut out my control! Luckily the lady at the bar from the reception gave us one!
Rooms were modern, bed was abit uncomfortable but we made do! The housekeeper was so lovely and a big credit to her! She works very hard and made sure our room was tidy everyday, with stocked up towels.
Also would like to say how helpful and lovely the guest relations were - Thank you!
Food, breakfast and lunch was good! Dinner not so great, there wasn't much option but it wasn't a deal breaker.
We had the pleasure of spending 5 days at the hotel and it was fantastic. Staff were amazing; friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The room albeit small, was clean, modern and the shower was the best I’ve ever had. We didn’t need to put towels down any single morning, and the cocktails had a large choice and were not watered down. Food was tasty, however the choice was small but that suited us. There were restaurants and shops in walking distance and to eat out was so cheap. For two courses plus 6 cocktails was £50 in total. We are planning on coming back next May. Very very impressed and have already recommended to friends and family.
Nice hotel in a nice location. All of the staff very lovely and helpful. The lady in the massage was superb, best massages ever. Some small things that don’t make it 4 star in my mind..you cannot drink the water so on arrival you are supplied with a bottle of water in your room..this isn’t replaced daily, if you want it refilled you have to do it yourself at the bar… tea and coffee is not replaced in your room You have to do that yourself at the bar… tea and coffee cups not cleaned. None of which is a massive problem but you have to find this out for yourself, nothing in the welcome letter but something so simple that housekeeping could do… In the room there isn’t much storage for a week or two holiday and you end up living half out of your suitcase and can hang some things…no hook to hang a robe or jacket… the showers don’t have shelves so everything is on the floor and the shower floods the toilet next door. The bath towels are very small. All tiny things that could so easily bring this hotel to another level…. The pool is lovely, sun loungers are very nice.. you get pool towels that can be changed daily. Aerobics daily in the pool is good and the teacher Fabio is good and funny. Breakfast is very good, lunch in the pool bar is good. Although all inclusive we ate out in the local Greek restaurants at night which are about 50 euro for two with drinks… I would definitely return.
We stayed here for a week in June. The arrival was helpful and professional. Our room was cleaned daily very well by Christina and very thankful to her. Eby on the bar in the evenings was brilliant and fantastic service. The food we couldn’t fault there is so much choice all beautiful. The water issue is a small issue here the bar staff are not allowed to fill your bottle from the bar they can only give you cups to fill your own bottle. Perhaps have small bottles of water at the bar might be a better idea to save on waste with the cups etc. The pool is clean and refreshing the sea is warm and is shallow for a good 100m then drops away. The beer is definitely watered down and isn’t very nice, cocktails are all nice though and strong! Overall this place for us was brilliant the food being very high on our list of fantastic food. Thanks to the hotel for having us.
