Boasting a prime location in Pissouri, a village situated in Limassol's district, this beautiful property is a short driving distance from Paphos International Airport and a 60-minute drive from Larnaca Airport. Guests staying at this charming property may visit some of the nearby attractions including the Temple of Apollo Hylates, one of the most important sanctuaries of the ancient Cyprus. Set in magnificent gardens and just a few minutes' walk from an award-winning beach, this family-run property offers the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the city. All the self-catering accommodation units provide a functional yet beautiful design that suits all clients' needs, including a spacious living area, a veranda ideal to enjoy the breathtaking sunrises and a kitchenette. Visitors will appreciate the sparkling outdoor swimming pool and sports lovers will have a great time on the tennis court.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We arrived at Hylatio late at night, sandwiches were on offer as we'd missed dinner. Bar was still open so able to have a relaxing drink before bed.
Our rooms were cleaned every day.
Never had a problem getting bed by the pool at any time.
Bar staff (mostly of Nepalese descent) were great without any rudeness (as I'd seen in earlier reviews). Always on the move clearing tables and giving table service if required. They also helped in dining room.
Food was usually good although not a wide selection, but bear in mind this is a small family owned hotel with only about 65 apartments so less choice equals less waste. Food was well cooked, tasty and varied.
A short walk from hotel takes yo to a selection of diners and mini markets.
Only downside was the bus service. 3 a day each way to/from Paphos. €2 or purchase a daily ticket €6.5 which lets you use all bus services in paphos area.
Check out from hotel is 11am and if you want to continue AI it's €10 pp. Keeping on your apartment I heard cost €70 but if you dont want there is a shower room where you can get cleaned up.
Looking to check availability for later in year or early next year.
If you have no expectations this hotel is for you , otherwise avoid ++++ As mentioned b4 , all inclusive but you have to pay for bottles of water? BTW none in your room . Checking out , if you arrived at midnight and that was ur 1st day gone , you still checked out at 11am . To continue to use the facilities you had to pay 10 euros per person , never experienced this at any other all inclusive resort......ever Food , brilliant if you like stew , nothing fresh liked grilled fish, or a nice selection of olives , pitta or salads , wine on tap , say no more Poor kids , crap for them.every day Seu was the only positive thing about this hotel she is a credit to them , you knew when she was off because no one else bothered to come and do table service. The family obviously didn't care about customers, never saw them come and chat to anyone . Sun loungers need a cover , so uncomfortable. Pool was nice .
Basic accommodation however fine for a week , we stayed B&B as we like to eat out . We also used this place as a base as we hired a car to visit some of the island , It’s remote , but Pissouri bay is lovely . Room tired but fine . Cleaned every day , sheets changed twice , Towels twice . Things to note. No kettle .. ask at reception, plug sockets are same as uk . Can’t say about the food as we only had one breakfast as we also stayed elsewhere overnight in different places during our week . Entertainment 3 x the week we was there if that’s your thing . So imho , nice pleasant place with no frills
Wonderfully large room, could easily cater for a family of three. Couldn't fault the shower and toilet facilities. Towels changed regularly. Room cleaning regularly. Management and staff could not have been nicer. We booked all inclusive, and I'd definitely recommend doing that, especially if there are children in the party. Less than 10 minutes from the beach, which is stoney but there are plenty of sunbeds and water sports to keep you occupied. First time visit to Cyprus and to the Hylatio Tourist Village and we'll definitely be back.
Location is not far from the airport so quite quick to get to. The staff are so helpful and attentive to your needs hotel and rooms clean and as should be for a 3* hotel it’s not a 5* so don’t expect it to be if you want that book somewhere else or don’t complain. Cleaner comes in 6 times a week to clean and the hotel around the grounds are clean all be it a little tatty round the edges where the planted areas are with the use of auto watering hoses. As the hotel is not huge the food selection is not overwhelming but plenty to chose from and different every day the breakfast is cooked bacon sos egg etc with cold aswell, The location of the hotel is only 5 mins walk to a couple of bars and rest restaurants and also to the entrance to the beach there is a small village a Taxi ride up the hill for only €10 which has more to offer at night time if you like. My partner and I spent a week on holiday here and found it spot-on for our needs. If you’re looking for a drinking holiday this isn’t it? This is more for relaxing and good food. We hired a Car organised by the hotel manager and it was spot-on. It was delivered to the hotel. We only had it for three days. It was a Nissan Note automatic and only cost £90 for the three days unlimited mileage and well worth a thought, especially when they drive on the same side as us plenty around the island. All inclusive package of which we had had plenty to drink and as I said plenty to eat but around the village area there is Guinness Peroni cider etc on draft in different bars. I have read some of the reviews on here slating the hotel but we could find nothing wrong. Maybe the people were looking for something different than what they got for a three star hotel but it is very clean adequate and Stuff are great. I would seriously consider this hotel if you like what you have just read you should not be disappointed if you expect too much.
