Cap St Georges Hotel and Resort

The 3rd stay and the best so far.

I returned to Cap St George in June with my wife for our 3rd stay and 3rd Michelin star dinner event this time with Nick Honeyman as the guest chef.

Let me start this review with a review of the event.

After the meal I had 2 questions for the supremely talented guest chef who currently has restaurants in France and New Zealand.

When will you the other Michelin star your deserve? When will you open a restaurant in Cyprus?

The questions were prompted by the enjoyment of the event which was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Before the dinner starts prosecco and delicious canapes are served in the outdoor area of the Chroma bar with the backdrop of a beautiful sunset which the Cap St George coastline is famous for and accompanied by appropriate and tasteful live music.

The dinner itself is hosted in the Sky 7 restaurant with spectacular elevated sea views and was heaven on a plate from the first mouthful until the last.

We also enjoyed the excellent wine pairing which accompanied the food.

Another feature which made this event stand out was the interaction with the very approachable chef himself and his lovely wife Sina who took the time and effort to explain every delicious course.

Turning now to the hotel itself and the rest of our stay.

It is not all hotels that reward guest loyalty. Cap St George leads the way in this respect and is an example of what makes the top hotels stand out compared to the rest.

On our 3rd return visit we were given an upgrade to a residence room with a beautiful sea view and spacious veranda. The sleeping conditions were so comfortable that we were in danger of missing breakfast that is served until 11 on weekends!

We enjoyed 2 meals at the Japanese restaurant ( Bonsai) and the Mediterranean Restaurant ( Kohili) which in a stunning setting right on the coastline with perfect views of the sunset.

As was the case in our previous 2 visits the quality of the breakfast buffet stands comparison with any buffet breakfast that we have had in any other 5 star hotels in any country, not just Cyprus.

During the day we relaxed in the super comfortable pool area but there are also 2 excellent beach options for those who prefer salt water and sand.

Service levels were excellent across the board.

We really didn’t want to leave and Nikos who was managing the front desk team was extremely helpful throughout our stay and kind enough to give us a late check out so that we could maximise the enjoyment of the last day of our stay.

A special mention also for Ivaylo (the F & B Service Manager), and Viktoria ( the Guest Services Manager) and George who helped us with our many suitcases , who were all very attentive and invested in ensuring that that hotel delivered a product befitting of its luxury status and did not disappoint.

It is not matter of if we will return but how soon we can return.

As the saying goes you can’t have too much of a good thing and when it’s that good more is never enough!

I have stayed at many hotels in Cyprus, but this is by far the best hotel on the island.

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every detail reflected true five-star luxury. The hospitality and overall experience were exceptional, and every service exceeded our expectations. The hotel was immaculate, comfortable, modern, and beautifully maintained, with stunning facilities, breathtaking surroundings, and spectacular sea views.

The location is simply perfect—peaceful, exclusive, and away from the crowds, making it the ideal place to truly relax and unwind. Despite its tranquil setting, everything is thoughtfully designed to offer convenience and comfort. The atmosphere throughout the resort is calm and quiet, allowing you to enjoy a genuinely restful stay without unnecessary noise or disturbances.

The food at every restaurant was outstanding—truly beyond anything I expected. Every meal was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and prepared to the highest standard. A special thank you to Mr Antonis at Kohili for his outstanding service, professionalism, and warm hospitality, which made every visit memorable.

I would also like to mention Ms Agapi at the pool area, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. We also had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager, Mr Marios Demetriou, who truly impressed us with his exceptional hospitality, professionalism, and genuine passion for ensuring every guest has a memorable stay. His leadership is clearly reflected in the outstanding standards maintained throughout the resort.

Although this is undoubtedly a luxury resort, the overall experience, level of service, quality of the facilities, and exceptional dining make it excellent value for money. This is more than just a luxury hotel—it is an experience. We left with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return.
