This is our 3rd visit to the King Jason hotel in Paphos in the past year. The hotel staff is so friendly and make us feel at home, all of them. The rooms are beautiful , clean and spacious. The pools are well maintained, quiet and very well equipped. The staff provides drinks at the pool non stop! What a service! The food is outstanding, tasty with great variety every day. We take the all inclusive package every visit. We always received immediate response whenever we asked for something. The hotel management team is the best team we ever met in hotels and Thomas makes us feel like family every time we come to the hotel. We are planing our next vacation at this hotel and looking forward to meeting everyone. Perfect vacation, absolutely the best experience. Thank you and keep up the good work.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolutely perfect holiday – thank you, King Jason!
Where do I even begin? We have just returned from an absolutely wonderful stay at the King Jason Paphos, and I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough.
We travelled with my partner’s 26-year-old son, Kyle, who is autistic and requires round the clock care. We took him away as a reward for how incredibly hard he has been working on making positive lifestyle and dietary changes to manage his diabetes. He hadn’t been abroad since he was a toddler, and understandably, my partner was quite nervous about how he would cope with travelling and being in a completely different environment.
Well... we needn’t have worried! The King Jason was absolutely perfect for all three of us.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. While completing our check-in forms, we were offered complimentary chocolate and prosecco, which was such a lovely touch after a long and rather stressful journey. The foyer itself is beautiful, classy, elegant and very thoughtfully designed, with lots of comfortable tables, chairs and sofas.
We were then accompanied to our room by a member of the concierge team. We explained that we were perfectly capable of managing our own luggage, but they insisted on helping us anyway! Little did we know that this would set the standard for the entire holiday. The quality of service throughout our stay was exceptional.
As we didn’t arrive until close to 1am due to our late flight, we were ever so grateful to find three packed lunches waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived at our room. What an incredibly thoughtful touch! My partner and I have stayed in many hotels over the years, but we have never experienced this level of attention to detail.
The fridge also contained large bottles of water, with a full case of water provided in the cupboard in case we needed more. There was a fantastic selection of flavoured teas, coffee pods and a beautiful welcome gift containing locally made produce. These little details made such a difference and immediately made us feel incredibly well looked after.
The room itself was absolutely stunning and one of the largest we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. It was beautifully designed, spacious and extremely comfortable, with separate air conditioning in both the bedroom and living area.
We also had a double balcony, and I thought the design was particularly clever. The building has been designed so that the neighbouring room doesn’t have an adjoining balcony, meaning each room has its own balcony on a separate side of the building. This level of privacy and made the outdoor space feel very personal.
The hotel has a fantastic selection of pools, but we chose to spend our entire stay using the hydro pool - and it was absolutely perfect for Kyle. The built-in loungers with the hydro jets meant that he could stay comfortable in the heat for as long as he wanted. He absolutely loved it. Most importantly, it gave him somewhere calm and relaxing to spend his time and helped prevent him from becoming overstimulated.
For us, this made such a huge difference. We were able to relax knowing that Kyle was comfortable, happy and enjoying himself too.
There were always plenty of sun loungers available, and they were well padded and extremely comfortable. The hotel also provided pool towels, which was another really useful and thoughtful touch.
The food… WOW! The food deserves a section of its own because it was phenomenal! There was always a wide selection of appetisers, savoury food and deserts available, with plenty of choice, and the restaurant being open pretty much all day was fantastic. The restaurant itself is incredibly spacious, and we never struggled to find a table.
We also ate at the outdoor restaurant, which served a 10-course meal, and once again, the food was absolutely incredible. Every course was delicious and beautifully presented.
And then there are the staff…
Honestly, I think the staff are the biggest selling point of this hotel.
Every single member of staff we encountered, including the management team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed.
This was particularly noticeable when it came to Kyle. They were so kind, patient, understanding and accommodating towards him, and never once made us feel that his additional needs were an inconvenience. For a family travelling with someone who can become overwhelmed by unfamiliar environments, that level of understanding and kindness means more than I can put into words.
The entire hotel has such a wonderfully chilled and relaxed atmosphere. The other guests were lovely too, and we had some really nice interactions with many of them during our stay.
This was genuinely the most perfect holiday we could have asked for. Seeing Kyle enjoy his first holiday abroad since he was a toddler, relax by the pool and experience something so positive meant the absolute world to us.
A huge thank you to every single person at the King Jason Paphos for making our stay so special. Your kindness, attention to detail and exceptional service will stay with us for a very long time.
We honestly cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and would return in a heartbeat.
Thank you, King Jason, for giving the three of us such a wonderful holiday and memories that we will treasure forever. ❤️
Five stars absolutely don’t feel like enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The King Jason – Paphos (5/5)
We had a fantastic stay at The King Jason. The location was ideal, with the harbour, beach and local mall all within a comfortable 15–20 minute walk.
The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional and always willing to help. Their warm service really set the tone for the whole stay. They really added to the calm and relaxed atmosphere.
Our room was modern, stylish, and finished to a high standard. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the added touches like branded towels, robes, slippers and flip‑flops made it feel truly premium. The hotel’s gym and spa were also easy to access and well maintained.
Food was excellent every day, with plenty of choice and different themed evenings. The Sunday carvery was a highlight. Drinks were served promptly, topped up often and made with premium spirits (special mention to the Aperol Spritz and Pina Colada)
The three pools were spotless and relaxing, with very comfortable loungers. The no‑reservation sun‑bed policy meant there was always space and the attentive poolside bar staff made the experience even better.
Overall, a superb stay. We would definitely return and confidently rate this hotel 5 stars. It was definitely good value for money and couldn’t recommend anymore.
My friend and I stayed for three days, after our greek island cruise. What a lovely, welcoming, friendly efficient ,clean hotel.Ringcon( sorry if spelt wrong) helped with any enquiries regarding my gluten free diet(Im coeliac).Pizza was made specially for me,pasta available too ! Food was all fresh and delicious, lots of choices and variation.Staff very helpful.Room was beautifully clean,tea/coffee facilities in room.Lovely little gifts,of honey and apple jams delivered to our room.Anna on reception was especially helpful ,always kind always smiling. All the staff were excellent. Thoroughly enjoted oyr stay there, the beds were sooooo comfortable
We got back a couple of days ago from King Jason, and overall it was quite a positive experience.
The staff were very attentive throughout our stay, especially in the restaurant and nothing was ever too much. The customer service here was top notch and faultless. The reception staff were also always friendly and helpful with any questions or queries. There was only a handful of hangers in our room (we had an executive suite), however, reception quickly asked how many more we needed and within a couple of hours these were provided to us.
The room itself was nice with modern decor, plenty of space and the bed was really comfy. However, I would say that the toilet room could do with being just a bit wider & potentially having a window that could be open, as it often felt claustrophobic. There was also just a couple of minor areas that felt were overlooked when finishing the room, such as strips of wall filler and some markings where there's been a clear leak before from above. Near our room was a table tennis table and two pool tables, however, no equipment or signage of where to get this from.
The atmosphere was very relaxing around the pool and there was never a rush to get a bed. We often came down between 10-12 and always managed to get a bed. However, a bit of background music would have been nice, although I'm aware that one person complained the day before we arrived about music being played and often people were told that the speaker wasn't charged up.
The hotel definitely felt that it was more suited for a more mature clientele as opposed to younger people/ couples. There were noise complaints after midnight because a couple of people were sat outside the main restaurant having some drinks and a laugh. It definitely felt like the fun police were constantly watching. The hotel definitely would benefit from some day time entertainment (e.g. water aerobics, water polo, pool tournament etc) and even an improvement on the night time entertainment as this was massively lacking.
Whilst overall it was a positive experience at King Jason, it is unlikely that as a younger couple we would return due to the lack of atmosphere/ entertainment. If you want a very peaceful and relaxing adults only holiday, then this is definitely a place for you.
