Another amazing stay at our favourite hotel
This is our second stay here and we hope to enjoy many more holidays in this fabulous hotel . It has felt like coming home and a lot of the Staff remembered us and our names . What makes this Hotel stand out are the Staff , everyone from the Gardener to the Chef are polite , friendly and hard working . Our room was again spotlessly clean and the pillow menu is a great touch . Everything is kept fully stocked . The food in the buffet is wonderful , so fresh and tasty with wonderful salads and meats . The desserts are gorgeous . Big shout out to Mohammed , the guy from Tibet and Giannis who looked after us really well . The bar staff are wonderful and I cried again when leaving . They remembered our names , where we were from , what we liked to drink and my earl grey tea at bedtime . Thankyou Agni, Youssef, Emad and Morad for looking after us like family ,it was so lovely to sit in the bar drinking Gin and Tonics watching the sunset . You do hear planes as the hotel is near the airport however it is not loud or disturbing and we had no issues with any room noise . The entertainment is spot on for a relaxing adults only holiday , a short walk or a 2 Euro bus journey can take you to busy bars . I did notice this time that people were getting up early to reserve sunbeds - you really don’t need to do this , there are loads to choose from . Can’t wait to book another holiday in this wonderful hotel , see you soon !

Just ok, nothing wow
I stayed 10 days with a friend. We had a sea view twin, which was very nice. I’ll start with the pro’s - the food was very good, quality over quantity, which we appreciated, good selection and quality of drinks on the AI, restaurant and most of the bar staff were lovely, being allowed to keep our AI package until we left the hotel was a nice touch as we were late leaving. Options for late departure was either to keep our room (over €100), use of a room for half a hour (bookable the day before) or use of the spa facilities at any time.
The cons, the beach is just rock, you can’t access the sea (it’s the same along most of the coast), sun-beds, whilst comfy felt quite dirty, towels need replacing. Guests are ‘encouraged’ not to reserve sun beds, but the sun bed game began at 6:30am. We also witnessed staff putting towels on beds very early, the beds were then occupied later by guests, we can only assume an ‘arranged’ (€’s) has been made!. The sunbeds are packed in, there is literally a foot between you and the guest next to you. There is ONE female and ONE male toilet for the entire pool and beach, unless you go inside the hotel where there are more, I found this quite strange. Gym is really small, in the basement and incredibly hot. The hotel feels a bit old fashioned, with carpeted hallways, there are only 2 lifts so be prepared to spend quite a while waiting for lifts if you are on an upper floor, housekeeping with hit and miss.
So yeah, it’s a 5*, but not the best and not on the same level as 5*’s in other parts of the world, considering the price, you don’t get much for your money (we didn’t max out on the AI). I’m sure a lot of guests are happy and clearly rebook, but it wasn’t for us
