Staff friendly spotless clean
Can't fault this hotel staff are the most friendliest and helpful always smiling seriously not 1 member of staff rude and this is all over it poolstaff barstaff reception clea news defo worth a 3rd visit for us got a bottle of champagne and a free spa because he was 60 in the room waiting for us then another 2 days later I would highly recommend giving this a try you won't be dissatisfied

We had a great time at the hotel!!!!! We’re already looking to come back next year!!!! We had a swim up room, room 3012, well worth the extra money!!!! You don’t have to worry about getting a sun bed! We woke up when we wanted! The hotel is extremely safe and Prakash the life guard it amazing, constantly walking around checking the children he made us feel so safe I wouldn’t normally let my little boy out my site but Prakash made us feel so safe he looked after all of the guests around the pool. He constantly works hard sorts the glasses out takes them back to the bar, sorts the sunbeds aswell as looking after all of the guests round the pool. The guy is amazing so kind and so friendly always went out of his way to say hello!!! Thank you Prakash! You are simply the best life guard we have ever met! Nayia at reception lovely and helpful kind lady who works incredibly hard. Nayia sorted an issue out we had along with George on reception the manager, both very helpful both very kind, and looked after us thank you! Bhim and biren who worked on the bars always remembered our drinks and again were always chatty and very kind hard working people!!! They work very hard! The beautiful Aliana so stunning!!! And so kind and helpful always smiling and always working hard!!!! Again remembered our drinks!!!! Thank you to the wonderful cleaners who did a great job and always with a smile , everyone works so so hard at this hotel!!!! It’s one of the best hotels we’re ever stayed at and we cannot wait to come back next year!!!!!! Thank you to the wonderful chefs the food was fantastic each day !!! anyone who complains about this hotel must have something wrong with them! It’s great for children it’s a perfect family hotel!!!! I cannot think of one bad thing wrong!!! The snack bar was wonderful one of the nicest we have ever had!!!! Pizza, pasta, gyros chips and a fantastic ice cream machine!!! Slushys and milkshakes all included!!! Breakfast was also lovely!!! We have had such a relaxing holiday and met some wonderful people!!! We really cannot wait to come back!!!!! No wonder people come back time and time again, we met a lovely young family who says it’s there 12th visit! That says a lot really!!!!

Second to none!
Lovely hotel, friendly staff and amazing food and service. The Spa treatments were awesome including Vado who did a beautiful facial and amazing massage for me.

Great for families
We stayed at the Sofianna for 7 nights at the end of August: me, my husband, our daughter, son in law and 3-year old twin grandsons. There was a mix up with one of the rooms when we arrived, however this was quickly resolved the next day and we were offered a late check out by way of apology which was much appreciated. We can’t fault the facilities, the staff or the food, which were all excellent. The grandsons spent every day in the splash pool with slides that were perfect for toddlers. There was never a problem getting sunbeds and umbrellas at this pool, in fact there seemed to plenty of space around all the pools which made for a relaxing time. A special mention for the food, especially the amazing desserts, me and hubby came home several pounds heavier. Our only disappointment was the evening entertainment which fell short, although the kids did enjoy the mini disco. Also the bar area where some of the evening entertainment was held was absolutely boiling, in desperate need of some ceiling fans there! A couple of things to mention: I emailed the hotel in advance as it was my husband’s 60th birthday during our stay and they said a bottle of bubbly would be in our room on arrival. Unfortunately it wasn’t. I also asked for a toddler step for the toilet, again they said this would be provided and it wasn’t. Small issues but just a bit disappointing. All in all though I would definitely recommend the Sofianna for a family holiday, as we did have a lovely time.

Stay at Sofiana hotel
Hotel and all staff are so friendly complex is so nice great location central to get to beach and shops and harbour good local bus service.
