The holiday experience of Kev/Gaynor Crowe
My wife and I have recently returned from 2 weeks holiday at the Olympic Lagoon resort in Paphos.We went there last year as well. We again stayed in the Fishermans Village Junior suite with private pool (Adults only Area).This is a fantastic hotel, all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurants are brilliant, the pools are fantastic and the location is brilliant.you can take a lovely stroll along the promenade to Kato Paphos.This takes approx 20-25 mins. There are taxis or a bus stop right outside the hotel.Our room was kept really clean.The entertainment was very good, live shows as well as singers in the adult bar and family veranda. I would strongly recommend this hotel for value and look forward to returning again in the future. Thankyou to everyone at the Olympic for making this another great holiday.

Our week-long stay at Olympic Lagoon was great, exceding our expectations. Primarily: the food, tye service, and the cleanliness. All 10/10. Location was great for us: not a long ride from airport, very close to the city center (10m drive), and to the Aphrodita water park (<10m). We found the overall quality here better than other similarly-priced family resorts we've been in, e.g. in Rhodes and Crete. Again - the food, service and cleanliness are top notch. One thing primarily was amiss: the evening entertainment at the open bar/lobby was too quiet/mellow and not diversified. Abba songs, some 70s, nothing greek (such a shame!!), not merely happy/exciting enough. We expected something else, but maybe it was aimed to sattisfy primarily the overwhelming british guests.. I dunno. The indoor-hall shows were good quality, good performers, just again aimed at very specific genres: Abba, rock (Queen), etc.
All in all - strongly recommend this place, especially if you prioritize great food, service, cleanliness and location.
Wow this just got better in 2026
The Olympic Lagoon at Paphos has just given us yet another first class holiday. The hotel has had a major refurbishment carried out over the winter. We stayed in the Fishermans Village (adult only section) in a room with a terrace, and the rooms are now very very modern. Staying here will never be cheap and early in my holiday I had quite a chat with Elena the general manager and said to her that her hotel is in the market where it has to be special. IT STILL ACHIEVES THIS! (Just to note Elena has a big job, but is very accessible and is regulary seen in a varity of places chatting with guests.) The new lounge bar is very comfortable and a ceiling that you have to see, it is fantastic. The staff have always been truly friendly and helpful and I would love to namecheck about 50 people!! That is clearly impractical, so I will keep it to a select few and apologies to those not mentioned. Two absolute stand out staff who go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect are Leoni Petrou (Front office manager) and Andreea (Pool Bar). Our room was kept immaculate by a lovely Chamber Maid called Juliia (I don't like that title, but it is Kanika's description in their literature) . Andreea was ably assisted by Vlad a pleasant young man who has been at the hotel for almost 1 year. A special mention for Robert and Marianna who made us especially welcome in the exceptional Garibaldi a la carte restaurant. Also a mention for Dianna in the main buffet restaurant, who has just gone on maternity leave. Ivelina in the new lounge bar is brilliant, a lovely friendly lady with an infectious smile, but this bar would befit from additional staff, they work so hard. Finally a big shout out for ALL the staff on the towel/lounger allocation kiosk, doing their absolute best to get everybody to loungers in areas they want to be, and all done with a smile. So they are perfect, well almost! Maintaining the latest refurb standards will be a big job, but is essential. Maybe a little more promotion and prominant details of the evening shows would be helpful. Just a little reminder to the management, you probably missed the fact a football tournament was on, it would have been nice to have a big screen to watch it on with like minded guests! (Some of your competitors along the seafront did!!!!) All in all I cannot recommend this hotel enough. If you have ploughed through this review what are you waiting for BOOK NOW! We are booked for next year and looking forward to it already. Only 49 weeks to go!!!

FIRST CLASS
On arrival at the Olympic Lagoon Hotel there's smiling faces waiting with a Cold Drink and Cold Towel's to welcome you, Check in is excellent and efficient.Our Bedroom was Clean, Comfortable and Modern. The Food is the best at all the Restaurant's, I would like to mention a few Staff , Bhem Bahadus who kept everthing Clean and tidy in our room. Andrea and her team. who tirelessly gave excellent service everyday at the Fisherman's Bar also the You and Me Bar Staff and Ion in the Lobby Bar, First Class Service every day. I would also like to mention Dora waiting to serve us at Breakfast, We first met her when we came years ago. What a STAR. Already booked next year. Lynn and James Bexton.

lon the waiting staff was absolutely flawless. So on the ball that when it came to getting served he sorted our orders before we even needed to ask. If carlsberg did waiters hes the one. An absolute credit to the hotel. Also he is vidic's double
