To start off with I was informed that there would be an open bar, pool, entertainment and food. Which for £800 I would expect there was no entertainment, the diner was closed my whole stay, the pool was taped off and the bar was empty. For the amount I paid all I got was a room which was filthy, the bed had stains all over it and clearly hadn’t been cleaned, the drawers had food and marks all down them, old dirty cutlery was left in the kitchen area, I had an ant infestation in my room, the curtains were ripped and stained. The fridge hadn’t been cleaned out so whatever was in there before still smelt. The hot water took about 20-30 minutes to heat up and the shower had mold and dirt everywhere. It’s honestly a shame because the views are lovely and the outside of the hotel is really nice and updated just the lack of care and consideration for the rooms and hospitality is what let’s this place down. When I first arrived the staff member told me he would check if my room was ready and instead of cleaning it during the day all he did was spray the whole room with a cleaning spray, all over the blanket too. I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t really recommend it to anyone else, for how much I paid you could’ve got an all inclusive hotel that’s a lot better. Please be weary of this hotel.
What a Cesspit!!! Be warned!! Images are misleading! You will 100% refuse to stay there and in my experience, agoda.com, will refuse a refund. I refused 1st room and 2nd was exactly the same! Disgusting place! You are better of sleeping on the streets!
We had just opened the room and walked in when we were hit by a terrible smell of stuffiness and dampness. Then I opened the bathroom door and saw that it was completely black with mold, and the walls and the door were full of moisture. The smell in the room was awful, and from breathing in that humidity all night, we ended up feeling sick — our lungs feel heavy and our throats are in bad condition.
Additionally, the windows were dirty, and the balcony outside was covered in dust and dirt. The entrance and the reception lounge were also dirty and full of dust.
It was absolutely not worth the money for the quality we received. It was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend it to anyone unless a proper renovation is done.
It's a filthy place. It should be illegal to call it a "boutique." There are no glasses or forks, and bodily waste floats in the air because the toilet doesn't work.
We booked a stay at Marica's Boutique Hotel and paid for a Deluxe Suite with a pool and sea view. However, after checking in, we were forced to leave the hotel in less than 30 minutes because it was impossible to stay there due to the extremely poor sanitary conditions.
The room was very dirty. We found cockroaches in the kitchen and even in the bed. The hotel is completely unsuitable for accommodation, so we checked out immediately and did not use the accommodation service.
Furthermore, the hotel's facilities did not match the description. There were no sun loungers by the pool, the pool itself was dirty, the children's pool was empty and closed, and the bar was not operating. We were unable to evaluate the restaurant or kitchen because we had to leave the hotel immediately.
We have repeatedly tried to contact the hotel owner to resolve the issue and request a refund, but our messages have either been ignored or left unanswered. It appears that the hotel is deliberately avoiding communication with guests in order to avoid issuing refunds.
