This hotel is situated directly on the beach (around 200 m away) and in the middle of the tourist district of Paphos. There are countless shops, bars, nightclubs, taverns and restaurants to be found in the immediate vicinity. Kato Paphos is around 3 km away and Paphos, with its harbour, is 4 km from the hotel. Links to the public transport network are located directly in front of the hotel.
Last renovated in 2020, this hotel comprises of 422 rooms. The facilities include a 24-hour reception and 6 lifts. There is also a café, a shop, a bar, a nightclub, a games room, a TV room, an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area, free wi-fi connection and car hire. There is also a car park as well as a children's playground. A kids' club for those aged from 3 to 12 years of age is also available. The rooms come with a bathroom with hairdryer. In addition, there is a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a mini-fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, free pool/beach towels, air conditioning, a hire safe, central heating and a balcony or terrace.
Guests will find a swimming pool, a children's paddling area as well as a snack bar, a terrace with parasols and sun loungers. Leisure facilities also include an indoor swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a steam room, a sauna, 2 tennis courts and a gym. Sport enthusiasts may play a game or table tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, darts, bocce or badminton. For an additional fee, guests may take advantage of the billiards/ snooker, green bowls, cards room for bridge players and massage service. On the beach, guests are offered sun loungers, parasols, windsurfing, canoeing and pedalos may also be tried out. An entertainment programme rounds off the diverse range of leisure offers. The hotel has a water park which is free for hotel guests only, and operates from first May—till End October. It includes 2 outdoor swimming pools, 2 outdoor kids pools, one of which has splash pool and accommodate 8 waters games.

Amazing hotel with great entertainment
Amazing stat at this hotel would highly recommend to anyone but especially families, rooms and balcony are on small side but pefectly acceptable. The food is exceptional with different variety and themes everynight certainly something for the most picky eaters and loads for the kids. Pools are great with plenty of space, the slides and kids pool were good and even a quite area if you prefer that. The entertainment is brilliant and they all work so hard morning till night, there is plent of activities on durng the day along with quizzes and even outside lunchtime previews of the evening shows. At night although the entertainment room could do with a refurbish the shows are of the highest standard with great dancers and singers who are superbly led by the entertainment manager Jamie, who's nightime game shows are not to be missed full of laughter for the whole family. Certainly do not miss the white night on the terrace on Sundays you'll have the best night. Over all a great hotel loads to keep the kids entertained as well as the adults. We will definatly be returning.
Another Fantastic Stay at Louis Phaethon Hotel
This was our 4th year returning to the Louis Phaethon Hotel, and once again it exceeded all our expectations. Every year we come back, we're reminded why this is our favourite place to stay in the quiter part of Paphos, Cyprus.
The staff simply can't do enough for their guests. They are friendly, hardworking, and always willing to help with anything. We were especially impressed by how they go above and beyond to assist guests with disabilities, ensuring everyone can enjoy their holiday comfortably and with dignity.
The hotel is spotless, although the rooms are somewhat dated, they are cleaned daily, including fresh towels and bottled water supplied. The air con in our room was great and most welcome in the heat!
The food was fantastic once again, with a great variety and consistently high quality throughout our stay. They even cater for fussy eaters! Restaurant was spotless. Without a doubt, this is the best all-inclusive hotel we've ever stayed at.
A special mention has to go to the Entertainment Team, led by Jamie. They were absolutely amazing this year and have improved so much compared with the past two years. Thank you to Jamie, Grace, Kiran, Hannah, and Linden for making us feel so welcome and for taking the time to chat with us around the pool. Your energy, friendliness, and enthusiasm really made our holiday extra special.
Louis Phaethon, you have outdone yourselves once again! Rudi and Michael you should be proud of all your staff.
Another amazing holiday at Louis Phaethon Beach
This was our 4th year visiting the Louis Phaethon Beach Hotel, and once again it was an incredible holiday. We keep coming back because the staff truly cannot do enough for you - everyone is so friendly, welcoming and always happy to help.
A special mention has to go to Ahmed in the restaurant, who was always smiling and made every meal feel special. Tommy in Chariots Bar was fantastic as always, and Karim the lifeguard kept everyone entertained with his amazing magic tricks!
The most memorable part of this year’s visit, however, has to be the entertainment team. Their hard work and effort throughout the day around the pool and again in the evenings was outstanding. The shows were absolutely fabulous and, without a doubt, the best entertainment and best performances we have ever seen at the Phaethon.
Jamie, the entertainment manager, deserves a huge amount of credit. He works incredibly hard behind the scenes and clearly puts so much effort into making sure every guest has a great time. It’s obvious that when the team aren’t around the pool, they are constantly rehearsing to put on spectacular shows each night.
Special mentions also to Hannah, Linden, Grace and Kieran, who always took the time to stop and chat with us every day and made us feel so welcome. The entertainment team has improved significantly compared to previous years and has truly become one of the highlights of the hotel.
Overall, the hotel and its staff have once again surpassed our expectations. The friendly atmosphere, outstanding service and exceptional entertainment are the reasons we keep returning year after year.
In need of massive modernisation 3☆ at best
Following years of luxury family half board holidays this was our first all inclusive family holida - two adults four boys.
We are used to booking high end 4☆ or 5 ☆ after seeing this holiday wkth Tui last minute due to a cancelled trip, all the reviews we read prio to booking really made our mind up.
Boy we were disappointed on arrival... 4☆???
I've stayed in better travelodges.
Hotel is tierd. Room not been renovated since the hotel was built in the 90s.. we had two interconnecting rooms, wow what a squeeze.
Air con intermittent, cold water trickled out of tap and toilet meaning showers were hot. Very very basic rooms.
Food excellent. Lots of choice and great quality.
Staff and service fantastic. Entertainment great for adults and children.
In all the staff in this hotel keep it afloat without them customers wouldn't return.
Note to hotel owners. Hotel in massive modernisation. Hotel should be downgraded to 3☆ at best maybe a 2☆
