Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris - Adults Only

We wanted a holiday to just relax and it’s exactly what we got! We stayed in a junior suite with pool, the room was a good size, clean and cool. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet at night once the entertainment stopped next door but even that didn’t keep me awake. The air con was good although some instructions on how to use would have been helpful. The shower was very good, his and her sinks, the shower gel etc provided was lovely. We had bath robes and for the first three days lovely big fluffy bath towels, it was disappointing these never appeared again, we did have towels but just on the same level 😜 This doesn’t reduce my rating but is feedback, the hotel displays a sign as many do now, about the environmental impact of washing towels when not needed, and asks you to hang up what your happy to use again. We did this everyday but our towels were still replaced, would be lovely to see you doing what you say you will.

The room had a coffee machine and kettle and a fridge which was stocked with non alcoholic drinks most days, we did have to ask on one occasion for this to be done and when we returned from dinner it was.

The pool and sun area to the room was amazing, the pool was bigger than we expected, the steps were a little wobbly to get in but felt safe, it was very clean and throughout our stay it was checked and cleaned. The room was cleaned daily and to a very good standard.

The main restaurant was very good with plenty choice and variety, staff worked hard to keep tables cleaned and ready but they felt understaffed on some days. We ate in two of the al a carte restaurants and sadly were disappointed, the first one we were told had a set menu for the night and the second one had a starter, which included octopus, which sadly was wasted as they didn’t tell us what it was. My husband has food phobias and we had checked the menu’s careful to make sure he would be ok and there was a starter I had wanted which was not available, for these reasons we stuck to the main restaurant for dinner. Lunch was very good and available in the main restaurant but also in little Italy the options available were great. We aren’t snackers so didn’t look for food outside of meals, I did see people with ice cream and it looked good 😊 Drinks, we had the premium drinks package (purple) as it came with our room, the cocktails in the main bar were excellent and made fresh, beer on tap 👍 the pool bar cocktails premixed but they drinkable.

Our room also included hotel pick up really easy to sort and they were there waiting for us, taxi back no problem at all €35.

The seafront promenade is easy to access and a lovely walk, turn left and you come to a little church and a sunset view point. Right and it’s just 3km into Pafos town flatish easy walking or there is a bus but we didn’t use this.

Entertainment - not our thing so didn’t watch sorry.

Would we go again absolutely, really enjoyed.

We went for our Honeymoon and had a wonderful time! Great food, great entertainment and our room (Infinity suite with private pool 15) was fantastic! The restaurants were amazing, would recommend the Greek taverna especially! Looking forward to going back one day!

Me and my daughter in law stayed for 11 nights at this fabulous hotel, have been coming to Cyprus for some years now and this has to be my best stay yet. 😀we stayed in a suite with infinity pool and must say was beautiful, from the stocked fridge to the pool which was bigger than expected to the staff. Room was cleaned daily by a lovely young girl sorry I didn’t get her name. Food was fab plenty of choice and entertainment was plenty in all areas and fab particularly Elvis. Whilst didnt use executive lounge a lot was an added bonus. The water machine was great as drink a lot of water and to be able to fill your bottle anytime with cold water was an added bonus. Bar staff were wonderful always happy to help and extremely friendly. I could go on, just a fantastic holiday which I wasn’t looking forward to as should have been me and my husband but due to him fracturing his back just three weeks before and was unable to share this wonderful experience with me, I still had a wonderful holiday and think a lot of that was down to the experience I had at the leonardo, thank you so much to all of your wonderful hard working staff for making my stay a great one will definatly be coming back hopefully with my husband so he can share the experience I had thank you again if there was more stars would give it.
