Centrally located in the heart of Paphos between two main tourist areas, this charming hotel is situated next to the Tombs of the Kings and a 15-minute walk from the main shopping centre and tourist area of Kato Paphos. Here, guests will find links to the public transport network, the mosaics and Paphos medieval fort, while restaurant, bars, shops and nightlife can be found at the hotel's doorstep. The hotel is just 200 m from the beach, and Paphos International Airport is approximately 25 km away. With all the facilities it provides, it is ideal for families, couples and individuals. Guests may enjoy a work out in the gym, relax in the hot tub, sauna or steam room, or enjoy a game of tennis. They can also make use of the 3 swimming pools this hotel offers. For those who love the fairway, golf course approximately 2.5 km from the hotel.
Just returned from 12 nights stay. Overall, it's not as bad as some reviews. We we're a family of 4 (adults) in a family room, which i was disappointed because we were all in one another's way. Rooms very dated but clean, beds was very comfy, but we did have a ants problem. All staff worked very hard and all we're friendly. Pools were like walking into a bath, you came out hotter than you went in lol. Both my 2 kids had bad earaches for about 4 days, not sure if its anything to do with the pool, but they've never had a problem before. Luckily there was a chemist over the road with a nice man, he sold us ibuprofen which seemed to do the trick. Food wasn't as bad as we thought, could be a bit more variety. But there was always something for everyone. Location was really good to, McDonald's & KFC just minutes away. Good family pubs nearby to, Kings Road, O'Neill's & Tramps we're our favourite, they all done nice meals to. Would we stop at Kissos again... probably not due to size of room
Just back after a 2 week stay in the kissos hotel. As most reviews say it is dated and needs a refurbished. This hotel has huge potential. Rooms are very spacious....saying this there isn't much storage space for a family of 4, clothes lay all over the place for 2 weeks, there's plenty of space to add extra furniture. We had to request for our bedding to be changed after 8 days. We went half board food isn't that bad unless your a fussy eater in the evening. Plenty of beds so don't worry about bed wars. The pool could be cleaner as a few of us got ear infections, if you get the choice I would upgrade your room if possible for more space. Would I stay here again? I probably would if they add extra furniture, have more choices for breakfast and clean the pool better. Hopefully they see this review and take it as things they can improve and guarantee this hotel will be booming with business
We were so worried about staying at this hotel after reading the reviews having not read them before booking.
Yes the hotel is a little dated and could do with a bit of a refresh in places. However, the hotel rooms are also spotlessly clean and the hotel is well equipped with very soft comfortable beds.
We only stayed for the bed and breakfast option as there were lots of places to eat nearby we didn’t want to confine ourselves to an all inclusive hotel. Drink prices at the bar were reasonable and although breakfast is repeated there are adequate options for you to vary each breakfast during your stay.
The sunbeds were plentiful and we never had an issue with finding one, even when returning from a morning out there were still plenty of options. You do however have the same as most hotels where people pick a bed they like and reserve it every morning for their stay.
The hotel is situated in a great location, lots of lovely restaurants near by and around half hour walk to the harbour or old town. I recommend taking the costal path down to the harbour around the time the sunsets for some magnificent views.
The hotel does have limited evening entertainment, however it does also have a games room, tennis courts, mini golf course, gym and inside pool. The day time entertainment lady is always looking to include people in her activities.
The one complaint we had is that the pool could be cleaner. The pool guy was out every morning doing something but there were still bits of green and things that needed cleaning off.
If you decide to book this hotel just remember that it is not a 5 star hotel and as such you won’t get the same luxury’s as you would if you stayed in a 5* hotel.
It’s a decent option for a one-night stay, especially if you’re arriving on a late-night flight, as it offers free parking and a 24/7 reception, which is very convenient. The position is also quite good as it is close to many attractions and restaurants. That said, I wouldn’t choose it for a longer holiday. My room felt quite old-fashioned and was extremely noisy, with virtually no soundproofing, so I could hear everything from the surrounding rooms and corridor. The “double bed” was actually two single beds pushed together, and to make matters worse, they were noticeably different heights, and very hard, making it quite uncomfortable to sleep on. For a short overnight stay, it does the job, but I wouldn’t recommend it for longer.
Very dated poor food very old fashioned entertainment is for old people nothing for children and the food is very poor no choice and the atmosphere is dead rooms are dated
