Centrally located in the heart of Paphos between two main tourist areas, this charming hotel is situated next to the Tombs of the Kings and a 15-minute walk from the main shopping centre and tourist area of Kato Paphos. Here, guests will find links to the public transport network, the mosaics and Paphos medieval fort, while restaurant, bars, shops and nightlife can be found at the hotel's doorstep. The hotel is just 200 m from the beach, and Paphos International Airport is approximately 25 km away. With all the facilities it provides, it is ideal for families, couples and individuals. Guests may enjoy a work out in the gym, relax in the hot tub, sauna or steam room, or enjoy a game of tennis. They can also make use of the 3 swimming pools this hotel offers. For those who love the fairway, golf course approximately 2.5 km from the hotel.
Just returned from 2 weeks staying here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The hotel is nice and well located. The public areas are all very clean and tidy.
We booked 2 superior rooms in the blocks adjacent to the lagoon pool and these were lovely and clearly built after after the main building. The room was very spacious and comfortable and gave direct access to the lagoon pool. My sister was staying standard room, which we had originally booked but honestly it would have been a struggle with 2 adults and a child. The standard rooms also required payment of €5 per day for the fridge/safe. We heard from other guests who had issues including a flooded bathroom and peeling paint in rooms in the main block.
My only issues were around the lagoon pool, firstly childen and adults climbing on the bridges to jump in even though the lagoon pool was not that deep, and 5 minutes after been spoken too by hotel staff they started again. Secondly around the far end of the Lagoon pool there was a day or two when there were strong smells of people smoking weed.
We only stayed bed and Brekafast, which was bit hit and miss some, usual breakfast staples available cereal, fruits, bread and pastries along with hot food option, which did improve as the holiday went on. There was only one toast machine for a quite large restaurant and as with most hotel toaster there was queues each morning as everyone was putting their bread through twice so it resembled something like toast after two trips through.
The bar was reasonably priced and again friendly staff. We were out most evening so cant really comment on entertainment.
I would stay here again but would have to be in the superior room.
Over all a good holiday. First of all not a 4 star hotel more like a 3. Food was ok always something u could find that u would like. Pool area is good beach is ok. Drinks in the bar inside are much better. The rooms are clean but very basic the maids work extremely hard rooms cleaned every day. The hotel is very clean all the staff work so hard apart from the lady manager who I believe was called Natalie. She would rather sit out the back on her phone rather than help the front desk. Shop on site is good and reasonable in price. Great location and weather was amazing.
Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel was not very good. There were a lot of ants in our room, which was very unpleasant.
Also, when we wanted to play a game, one of the staff members told us, “We don’t play with Georgians.” We found this comment very disrespectful and unacceptable.
The swimming pool was also quite dirty because some other guests were washing their slippers in it, but nobody gave them a warning. At the same time, we were being warned about things that seemed unnecessary. For example, we jumped into the pool head-first and were given a warning. We listened and followed the rules, and later jumped in normally, but we were still given another warning, while other guests were doing the same thing without being warned.
I believe the rules should apply equally to everyone, and the staff should treat all guests with respect. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I cannot give this hotel a high rating.
Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. There are quite a lot of ants in our room. We already reported the issue to the staff, but despite informing them, the problem has still not been resolved.
The swimming pool also needs proper cleaning. There is a significant amount of dirt built up, especially in the corners, which is clearly visible and should have been cleaned.
The most unpleasant part of our experience, however, was with one of the female staff members. She made disrespectful and insulting comments about our country and its people, saying that she “doesn’t play with people from our country.” Such an attitude is completely unacceptable, especially coming from a hotel employee who is supposed to treat guests with respect.
After being spoken to in such a disrespectful manner, we also became more rude and confrontational, which we acknowledge. However, the situation was initiated by the employee’s disrespectful behavior toward us.
I strongly recommend that the hotel management pay more attention to cleanliness, guest service, and especially the way staff communicate with guests. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel.
A really nice clean hotel and friendly staff , the lunch menu was good for all the family , note in the evenings no chips were served with meals so we took full advantage of the afternoon lunch outside, the drinks were of good quality , plenty of sun beds be aware of you think you can claim a sun lounger with your towel and not sit there , when it’s busy your towel will be removed
