Centrally located in the heart of Paphos between two main tourist areas, this charming hotel is situated next to the Tombs of the Kings and a 15-minute walk from the main shopping centre and tourist area of Kato Paphos. Here, guests will find links to the public transport network, the mosaics and Paphos medieval fort, while restaurant, bars, shops and nightlife can be found at the hotel's doorstep. The hotel is just 200 m from the beach, and Paphos International Airport is approximately 25 km away. With all the facilities it provides, it is ideal for families, couples and individuals. Guests may enjoy a work out in the gym, relax in the hot tub, sauna or steam room, or enjoy a game of tennis. They can also make use of the 3 swimming pools this hotel offers. For those who love the fairway, golf course approximately 2.5 km from the hotel.
Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel was not very good. There were a lot of ants in our room, which was very unpleasant.
Also, when we wanted to play a game, one of the staff members told us, “We don’t play with Georgians.” We found this comment very disrespectful and unacceptable.
The swimming pool was also quite dirty because some other guests were washing their slippers in it, but nobody gave them a warning. At the same time, we were being warned about things that seemed unnecessary. For example, we jumped into the pool head-first and were given a warning. We listened and followed the rules, and later jumped in normally, but we were still given another warning, while other guests were doing the same thing without being warned.
I believe the rules should apply equally to everyone, and the staff should treat all guests with respect. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I cannot give this hotel a high rating.
Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. There are quite a lot of ants in our room. We already reported the issue to the staff, but despite informing them, the problem has still not been resolved.
The swimming pool also needs proper cleaning. There is a significant amount of dirt built up, especially in the corners, which is clearly visible and should have been cleaned.
The most unpleasant part of our experience, however, was with one of the female staff members. She made disrespectful and insulting comments about our country and its people, saying that she “doesn’t play with people from our country.” Such an attitude is completely unacceptable, especially coming from a hotel employee who is supposed to treat guests with respect.
After being spoken to in such a disrespectful manner, we also became more rude and confrontational, which we acknowledge. However, the situation was initiated by the employee’s disrespectful behavior toward us.
I strongly recommend that the hotel management pay more attention to cleanliness, guest service, and especially the way staff communicate with guests. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel.
A really nice clean hotel and friendly staff , the lunch menu was good for all the family , note in the evenings no chips were served with meals so we took full advantage of the afternoon lunch outside, the drinks were of good quality , plenty of sun beds be aware of you think you can claim a sun lounger with your towel and not sit there , when it’s busy your towel will be removed
A pleasant hotel, perfectly adequate for my needs. Good choices for breakfast. The buffet dinner which I had a couple of times was also very good and plentiful. Friendly staff.
Just returned from 12 nights stay. Overall, it's not as bad as some reviews. We we're a family of 4 (adults) in a family room, which i was disappointed because we were all in one another's way. Rooms very dated but clean, beds was very comfy, but we did have a ants problem. All staff worked very hard and all we're friendly. Pools were like walking into a bath, you came out hotter than you went in lol. Both my 2 kids had bad earaches for about 4 days, not sure if its anything to do with the pool, but they've never had a problem before. Luckily there was a chemist over the road with a nice man, he sold us ibuprofen which seemed to do the trick. Food wasn't as bad as we thought, could be a bit more variety. But there was always something for everyone. Location was really good to, McDonald's & KFC just minutes away. Good family pubs nearby to, Kings Road, O'Neill's & Tramps we're our favourite, they all done nice meals to. Would we stop at Kissos again... probably not due to size of room
