The hotel is located in a scenic setting overlooking the azure Mediterranean and in total harmony with its surroundings. It has 249 beautiful Paphos apartments of prime beach front real estate .Each apartment is fully equipped for self-catering and guests can enjoy both the freedom of creating their own meals, or take advantage of the services and amenities associated with a four star hotel.
We have just returned from Kefalos after a week long holiday as a couple, and we have commented on how this is the best hotel either of us have ever stayed in.
The attention to detail by all the staff is what makes it what it is. This started when we arrived past midnight and had a brilliant little tour of the hotel to get our bearings as we were driven to our room.
The food was fantastic every day with a different theme every night so there was a great variety through the week. But the detail that made it impressive is that the chef came out some days to talk to us and ask our opinions.
What really makes this hotel amazing though, is Rico and the entertainment team. We took part in a number of activities every day from the sports in the day to the evening entertainment in the bar area. This entertainment team really stood out to us compared to anything we have done before, and Rico's fire show - wow.
The room was lovely, clean and modern. Beds were comfortable and there is plenty of storage. And we were appreciative of the snacks and water in the room when we arrived so late.
The only issue we had all week was having 1 key for the room that also activated the air con / electric in the room with a metal keyring. We do have different schedules on holiday as I like to be up for an early walk whereas my partner is late to bed. We were unable to do this easily, and this especially became a problem when he went out to watch the England game and I was going to go to bed, but I had to call him back to the hotel as the room was too hot for me without the air con. We were discussing this with other families who were having similar issues but had been told there was only 1 key available to stop people leaving a key in the room all day leaving the air con on, which is fair enough.
We don't normally return to the same place twice, but would consider it here as we had such a good time and feel there is more to explore in the area!
What an amazing hotel. Food great, friendly staff, spotlessly clean what more could you ask for? Will definitely be back xx
Lovely clean comfortable spacious hotel. Varied food good quality in a/c restaurant room. We went All inclusive good value for money on food and drinks. Not much at snack bar but not needed if All inclusive. Large pool. Accomodation very spacious and lovely that all 2 storey and no high rise. Bar and restaurant staff excellent, very polite and extremely helpful. Location superb, extensive flat promenade to walk in either direction. Can walk to Paphos harbour says 30 mins but nearer to 50 mins in the heat as all along the coast path so no shade. Bus stop 10 minute walk away to take you to harbour or Bus station in Paphos for town or further connections across island. Can walk from Hotel to Tomb of Kings. Entertainment varied and good shows. Nightly DJ music and interactive if you want. Only downside to this beautiful place is the beach, Shingle and rocks. Even where there is a tiny part of beach the sea is not accessible for swimming as very rocky. I am sure the hotel could invest in making a manmade beach as this would raise to a 5 star as all other aspects of the front and the hotel are superb. Loads sunbeds on a grassed area and a few on the shingled front but not for children to be able to get in the water at all.
Lovely hotel with big modern room with a well equipped kitchen. Came for a week with my mum on an all inclusive package. Only three stars bc unfortunately this really let the hotel down. The food is nice but very basic repetitive and no variety. Usually on an all inclusive holiday theyd have all sorts of deserts but they have been the same thing every single day and very few options. We have been here four days and are fed up of the food and lack of variety. The ice cream you can get at the pool bar is nice but again feels bare minimum and a nice touch would be sprinkles or sauces. The menu with pizza etc not included in the all inclusive which is a shame. Overall nice hotel and location but do not recommend all inclusive here it is disappointing. Would potentially come again but on a self catering basis. Looking forward to going home and having more variety lol
This is a small village set up with apartments throughout pretty gardens. We emailed to ask for ground floor sea front and thats what we got.The path runs all the way from Paphos and separates the beach from the hotel so nice to sit and watch from the balcony. We had a sea view studio which was big enough with all equipment needed for self catering although we were in inclusive.Big bathroom with powerful shower over the bath.Safe hire 2Euros a day. There are plenty of sun-beds stretched out along the grass areas and about 20 on top of beach as well as the ones around the pool. The pool was warm.Pool/beach towels supplied in rooms at no charge. Wifi worked well even on the beach. The beach is rocky and lots of people buy beach shoes, available at the onsite shop. Not great for swimming unless you don’t mind rocks & seaweed beneath you, there is a small area of sand with a ladder down which most people used and only waist deep.Would say not suitable for very young children. The hotel is a good half hour walk along coastal path into Paphos town but quite flat. Food was ok but was a bit disappointing.Carveries were mostly like a meat loaf only once in the week had a proper joint of pork.Children’s area had either chicken nuggets or fish fingers and chips every meal.Drinks are served to your table and if your on all inclusive ask for water, you get a large bottle which you can take to your room.Drinks are their own and very weak although the wine wasn’t bad.Cocktails not the best. Staff very friendly.Golf buggy takes you to your room after check in which is good as a bit of a maze until you find your way around. Entertainment in the evening was held outside along the path so non residents could stop by,bingo and quizzes then sometimes singers. Taxi was around 35Euro from airport. All in all was an ok place to stay but we wouldn’t return. Happy to answer any questions.
