A lot of negative reviews prompted me to review as an older couple spending 14 days here end June2026. Firstly, the price for flights, luggage, transfers and Jet2 rep availability worked out approx £350 each per week and there is no where I can think of so reasonably priced? Yes, it is self catering as chosen so why would you expect your room to be cleaned to any depth? It's an appartment and usually you provide your own toilet rolls etc and be responsible for keeping your appartment clean. It was very basic but clean. We had a hire car which I think is necessary or you're stuck round the pool area. There are 2 showers by the pool and the one day I did spend at the pool, not one single person showered off before getting in the pool !!!!! So please don't moan the pool isn't clean. I would go again and use it as a base. Could have done with a broom and mop and bucket in the room to keep on top of any foodstuffs dropped which encourage insects.
Recently stayed here as a family of 4, none of our party was impressed with the service we received and we would not return.
The first issue we had was with housekeeping, on our booking confirmation it advised room service was provided 5 days a week, our room was cleaned 3 times throughout our entire weeks stay. We had to continuously go to reception to request fresh towels and toilet roll and the woman on the desk couldn't have cared any less.
On arrival our TV wasn't working, they advised maintenance would come and fix it, 3 days later it was fixed, no apology.
Each night huge winged-ants crawled under our door and invaded our apartment due to a gap in the front door, we had to put our towels against the door to stop this each night.
On leaving we asked for our deposit back and the blonde haired woman with the bob on reception was incredibly rude, condescending and aggressive implying we hadn't pain, after arguing she then gave us our deposit back but continued giving us dirty looks for the remainder of our trip.
The only saving grace in the hotel was a older Russian lady I believe who worked in the bar who was lovely and couldn't do enough to help, aside from her the staff we encountered were unhelpful and uninterested.
Luckily we didn't spend much time at all at the apartments and this didn't ruin our holiday.
It's a huge shame as the location is great, close to the Lidl and if you have a car central to everything, there's a nice pool and lovely cats that wander the grounds, however due to our issues I wouldn't return.
We arrived on the 7th of March and received a warm welcome from John at the front desk, who kindly helped us carry our bags up to our room (C-21) on the third floor, as there is no lift. This became our home for 11 days. The room itself was spacious and included a small kitchenette, which was convenient. However, there were a few issues during our stay. On our first night, there was no hot water, so I had to boil water in the kettle just to get washed. There is also a fire alarm positioned directly above the cooker, which went off when I started cooking. At first, we didn’t realise it was coming from our room. John later informed us that we needed to keep the doors open while cooking to let the steam out. It would also have been helpful if a microwave had been available. The bed was a bit firm, and we didn’t sleep well on the first night as the room felt quite cold and there was no duvet provided. There is air conditioning available, but it comes with an additional charge of €5 per day, so we chose not to use it. The property does offer a bar and swimming pool, though we didn’t get a chance to use these facilities as we were often out exploring. On a positive note, the housekeeping was excellent—our room was cleaned daily, and Debbie, in particular, was very friendly, hardworking, and always smiling. The location is convenient, with Lidl and several small shops and restaurants just a 10–15 minute walk away. It’s also around 15–20 minutes on foot to the Tomb of the Kings, and about 10–15 minutes to Venus Beach and the promenade. Paphos Old Town is nearby as well, and there are good transport links with Bus 615 going to the Harbour and Bus 611 to the terminal. Overall, while the stay had some minor inconveniences, the friendly staff and good location made it a pleasant experience.
Stayed in Hilltop Gardens while on a family holiday. We were not happy with our first room, too small for 3 people and we were accommodated in a bigger room the next day. The rooms are basic but clean and an ideal base. Cleaning took place most days but had to specifically ask for fresh towels and I am not sure if bed linen was changed. But this was not an huge issue.
There are building works in front of the hotel but the noise really isn’t that bad. The only issue is the building blocks the sun from 2pm, and most of the loungers are in shade from mid morning.
Bar staff were lovely and informative, especially the lady who worked during the day. Cleaning staff were very polite.
Location is ok. Not walking distance to harbour or old town. But buses run locally and always the option of a taxi which is about €15 each way to the harbour. Walking distance to some lovely restaurants and the Lidl close by is handy for self catering.
All in all, you get what you pay for here. Basic but comfortable.
Can not fault this hotel staff are so friendly especially Tina ❤️ apartment lovely and clean walking distance from Lidl and public transport we loved it that much booked up for next year ❤️
