Paphos is one of the jewels of the Mediterranean. Steeped in history, but forward looking and fashionable, this small harbour town is a wonderful base for your holiday. Built up around the bustling harbour, Paphos boasts fine beaches, historical treasures and superb, unspoilt landscapes.
The five star Elysium Hotel is on the beachfront at Paphos. You'll be able to sit back and take in the wonderful views, whether that's out over the sea or over Paphos itself from your balcony. From such a luxuriously comfortable setting, you'll be all set for a very memorable holiday.
Staying at the Elysium in Paphos gives you a wonderfully relaxing base for your Cypriot holiday. The beach is so close at hand and the Tombs of Kings, –one of the area's finest historical attractions– is almost next door.
The Elysium has a wonderfully individual sense of style. Architecturally it feels very modern, but also, absolutely in keeping with some of the finest local architecture. The amenities are wide-ranging and provide you with everything you'll need for a very comfortable stay. Highlights include a multi-level pool and a wonderful Royal Pool available to adults only and guests staying in the Royal Wing.
Great emphasis is given to relaxing you utterly. So do take full advantage of the on-site Opium health spa, complete with steam bath, sauna and Jacuzzi. Moreover, when you're fully relaxed and enjoying that deep-down sense of contentment, you can go and take a turn on the tennis court, or in the PADI dive centre. It'll give you a great excuse to go and get relaxed all over again.
One of your biggest decisions each day at the Elysium will be choosing from one of the hotel's five superb restaurants (some seasonal). Then perhaps you can round off the meal with a drink at the bar. There are three to choose from.
Deluxe rooms at the Elysium feature LCD TV with satellite, minibar, safe deposit box, coffee & tea facilities, FREE Wi-Fi and a hairdryer. An upgrade to a sea view room is also available at a supplement. Again, your absolute comfort is given top priority.
Your stay at the Elysium will be as big a part of your holiday experience as any of the wonders of Paphos. For its comfort, elegance and amenities, it deserves every one of its five stars. Get ready to really relax…

The Elysium enjoys a beachfront setting, adjacent to the Tombs of the Kings. It boasts unique architectural character and charm, it is furnished and decorated to very fine standards and offers stylish accommodation, excellent facilities and an array of extensive dining options.
We can't say enough good things about the Kids Club, and Rachel in particular. She made our daughter feel completely welcome every single time she wanted to pop in, and made sure she was entertained and happy throughout her stay.
The new Passport activity was a brilliant touch — the scavenger hunt and prize kept her excited to go back day after day, and the daily updates meant the whole family got drawn into the fun, not just our little one.
What really stood out was the team went out of their way to make sure we met Elybear on her final day— genuinely above and beyond service that made our daughter feel truly cared for, not just supervised.
Highly recommend this Kids Club to any family travelling with young children. Rachel is a real asset to the team.
Amazing hotel, very nice experience, welcoming and lovely staff. great and delicious food. beautiful rooms, many pools and very calming atmosphere. Excellent service. Everything we needed, They help us immediately and in a very friendly way.
Great hotel! The staff were incredibly kind, caring, and welcoming. The food was excellent, with a great variety of cuisines, including Asian, Italian, Greek, and more. The pool is amazing, and the hotel’s proximity to the sea makes the atmosphere even more beautiful. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel!
The location was a perfect distance from the Habour and perfectly placed for walks and runs! The hotel also provides its own taxi service for a fee, therefore if you do not have a car, you can still explore Paphos with this service! The views from the hotel were stunning, due partly also to the amazing lighting the hotel provides! Additionally, if you are a cat lover, the cats here are the most loving and sweet cats you will ever meet! Moving on, the hotel staff, was always very friendly and helpful, but also super professional in every way you can imagine! This definitely gives the hotel a very high rating from my side!
Our rooms very always clean and well kept. You get a towel change twice a day and in the evening water bottles as well as a sweet postcard! We also ordered pillows from the pillow menu for the ultimate sleeping experience!
The pools were alright, would have wished for it to be slightly deeper, but the beach and the indoor pool offered nicr alternatives! The beach bar was not the best facility in the hotel.
We also went dinning at Ristorante Bacco and Mediteranneo. Ristorante Bacco was exquisite, the flavors, the service, the atmosphere, everything! It was definitely the best dinning experience I ever had in Cyprus, and you definitely get your moneys value! The latter was a sweet home like atmosphere, with live music and friendly staff!
In the morning we ate a full breakfast. It was a breakfast buffet out of dreams! Anything you want you’ll find there! Lastly, we always closed our evenings at the bar upstairs, near the reception and the cocktails as well as the staff were amazing!
Thank you so much and hopefully see you soon!
This was my second time staying at The Elysium in Paphos with my Mum and it was just as amazing as I remembered! The hotel is beautiful, and the location is perfect, with a lovely walk along the coastal path to the harbour.
The food was fantastic , with something different to enjoy each night! There were different speciality evenings, including Cypriot night with dancing and Asian night, so there was always lots of variety. In the summer, they also have White Cuban nights by the beach which are really cool and make the evenings feel even more special!
There are no sunbed wars here - even in August. You can enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and still find plenty of sunbeds available at 11.
All of the staff were incredibly friendly. A special shout-out to Yannis, our waiter in the evenings, who was very efficient and had a great sense of humour! Marina, who worked at breakfast, was also so kind and even recognised me from last year, which was really lovely as it felt like I wasn't just a guest, I was a friend. Fontas the porter was also amazing, and I was even lucky enough to have my photo taken with him.
A big shout out too to Cynthia for making my birthday so special.
The kids' club was one of the highlights of the holiday. Rachel, Undine and Sheila were absolutely amazing, and there were so many fun activities to do. Don't worry if you have older children either, because there is always something for everyone!
I would highly recommend The Elysium and can't wait to come back again next year.
