Paphos is one of the jewels of the Mediterranean. Steeped in history, but forward looking and fashionable, this small harbour town is a wonderful base for your holiday. Built up around the bustling harbour, Paphos boasts fine beaches, historical treasures and superb, unspoilt landscapes.
The five star Elysium Hotel is on the beachfront at Paphos. You'll be able to sit back and take in the wonderful views, whether that's out over the sea or over Paphos itself from your balcony. From such a luxuriously comfortable setting, you'll be all set for a very memorable holiday.
Staying at the Elysium in Paphos gives you a wonderfully relaxing base for your Cypriot holiday. The beach is so close at hand and the Tombs of Kings, –one of the area's finest historical attractions– is almost next door.
The Elysium has a wonderfully individual sense of style. Architecturally it feels very modern, but also, absolutely in keeping with some of the finest local architecture. The amenities are wide-ranging and provide you with everything you'll need for a very comfortable stay. Highlights include a multi-level pool and a wonderful Royal Pool available to adults only and guests staying in the Royal Wing.
Great emphasis is given to relaxing you utterly. So do take full advantage of the on-site Opium health spa, complete with steam bath, sauna and Jacuzzi. Moreover, when you're fully relaxed and enjoying that deep-down sense of contentment, you can go and take a turn on the tennis court, or in the PADI dive centre. It'll give you a great excuse to go and get relaxed all over again.
One of your biggest decisions each day at the Elysium will be choosing from one of the hotel's five superb restaurants (some seasonal). Then perhaps you can round off the meal with a drink at the bar. There are three to choose from.
Deluxe rooms at the Elysium feature LCD TV with satellite, minibar, safe deposit box, coffee & tea facilities, FREE Wi-Fi and a hairdryer. An upgrade to a sea view room is also available at a supplement. Again, your absolute comfort is given top priority.
Your stay at the Elysium will be as big a part of your holiday experience as any of the wonders of Paphos. For its comfort, elegance and amenities, it deserves every one of its five stars. Get ready to really relax…

Everything was great! The staff were extremely helpful, and the rooms were always clean. The pool is perfect, especially for families, while the bar is also an excellent spot for couples and solo travellers. We had a wonderful stay!
Thank you so much for an amazing stay! The hotel is stunning, no complaints Drinks, breakfast and restaurants all perfect The highlight for us is the amazing staff who are outstanding and really make the experience, everyone is genuinely warm, kind and welcoming. Special mention to Kishna who looked after us at the O-Shin restaurant on 07/06, he went above and beyond to accommodate us and is a true star, the hotel are very lucky to have him!
We loved our holiday and this was our first time staying at the hotel. Beautiful, well kept hotel with gorgeous scenery and sunset views. We had a sea view room which was perfect. The hotel is well kept and super clean, the staff are outstanding in all areas of the hotel, infact the best service we have ever received. Drinks at the hotel and pool were very reasonable for a five star hotel. We were bed and breakfast so decided to try local restaurants on an evening, and only ate in the buffet one night. The buffet I thought was quite expensive for b&b guests to book charged at €45 pp. We struggled to find decent restaurants in the harbour area. Breakfasts at the hotel were of a high standard and choices with nice seating outside. I really love activities and tried the pilates class, this was really good and I was welcomed into the class, the trainer was very good. I was shocked that the classes were chargable for guests at €15 usually they are FOC in hotels and it would have been nice to have some for hotel guests. We enjoyed walking to the harbour after sunset and visited venus beach to the right of the hotel. There were some issues in the sea when we were there with some small plastics washing up. Hotel grounds were great for sunbathing and beds were super comfortable, the pool was the best bit - nice and warm! Overall I highly recommend the hotel for a relaxing holiday!
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Elysium. We had a small issue with our room, and the staff switched us to a new one right away, no questions asked. A special thank you to Gabor, who made our trip so much better. He recommended great restaurants and bars, arranged taxis for us at fair prices (no overcharging), and was incredibly kind and courteous throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel, and if you're lucky enough to have Gabor helping you, your trip will be even better. Thank you to the whole team!
We had an amazing family holiday with our two young adult children. From the arrival to departure we had no complaints. It is definitely 5 star, old world charm with modern standards. Food is exceptional but the highlight is the staff, they are highly professional but also warm. They clearly are trained to a very high standard. They contributed significantly to the holiday. We intend to return again September/October
