Elysia Park enjoys a superb location in the heart of Kato Paphos, within short walking distance to the sandy beaches and all of the amenities of Paphos town. This deluxe mediterranean resort offers spacious two and three bedroom residences, set around large swimming pools and surrounded by lush landscaped gardens.
Elysia Park offers high quality self catering accommodation. Each beautifully finished residence features a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable double and twin bedrooms and it's own private terrace or balcony with views overlooking the pool or gardens.
The apartment was nice and compact. Great to have bathtub, kitchen, sofa+tv and big bedroom with comfortable bed (a bit hard mattress for my husband, i thought it was fine but i can sleep anywhere.) Quiet at night, just some kids running in the hallways sometimes. Balcony a bit disappointing, thought we ordered a room with sunbeds on the terrace, but was only a cafe set and in the shade all day. The outdoor pool area was nice, nice communal sunbeds of wood, but very few (15 maybe?). Was there when it was not so busy and weather not so warm yet, so could easily get sun beds now, but probably not when it gets warmer. Outdoor pool was closed, will open soon later in april. Cute cats everywhere, and they were fed.
People in the reception were very friendly and helpful. They offered nice guided bus tours, we went on a great one called 100% cyprus, can easily recommend doing that.
Indoor spa was open every day until 20:00. Was a bit disappointing. Small jacuzzi (occupied when i was there, could not try it). Indoor pool was chilly, meant for exercising i think, not relaxing in warm water. The two saunas (dry and steam) were small. Dry sauna only fit 2-3 people, steam sauna 6 people maybe. Strong moldy smell in womens showers and steam sauna. Black mold floating in the bottom, in the shower by the sauna.
Location was a bit isolated. Had to walk 30 minutes to the harbor or to old town, through areas with mostly bad walkability and bad for wheelchair users (tall sidewalk edges and no slopes down in the intersections). Bad to bicycle, no bicycle lanes and very narrow sidewalks, have to bicycle in traffic and cars in Cyprus drive super fast even in calm neighborhoods - people drove at 60 km/h past restaurants and shops with tight sidewalks and people on the sidewalks right next to the cars! Theres metal poles everywhere along the sidewalks, to protect pedestrians from cars, but some places like in old town the side walks are very narrow. Walkability is very bad in Paphos, very few pedestrian-only streets, cars have access almost everywhere. Since i can't walk far, and Paphos is mostly made for cars, we had to take a taxi everywhere from this hotel, and that got a bit expensive (10-15 euros to anywhere inside Paphos, 100 euros to other cities, for a big car that could fit my wheelchair).
So the hotel itself was nice, but the location means i will probably not return here. And Paphos was not that unique or exciting, been there done that, once is enough.
We had never been to Cyprus before and used Trip Advisor to find a great place to stay. We enjoyed our stay here as the rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds are well kept and there is a convenient restaurant on premise. A real bonus for travelers is that there is a washing machine for clothes in the room. The only detractor is when adults allow their children to run rampant around the pool area as their running, splashing, and screaming can reverberate quite loudly disturbing the peace and quiet. The staff was very helpful in helping us organize a 3:30 a.m. ride to the airport.
Me and my best friend we went Elysia Park Spa...at Yiota Dianellou,we have the best experience massage. The staff very kindly and helpfull.I truly recomended 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
One of the best apartments we have stayed in . ... Service from moment of booking ,our enquiries prior to arrival, to the hard working cleaning staff.. Everything was wonderful... Special thanks to Marta who kindly made special arrangements for us. Also Savvas on the reception desk who delighted us with his extra kind & cheerful service. Such great assets to this establishment. All staff were most friendly . The pool view from our room was as shown on the left and would recommend a higher apartment floor as this gives the best view.... Downsides: No shuttlebus to the seafront despite this being noted somewhere on Trip advisor that it goes 3 times a day. A real disappointment as its a 25 min walk there .
Overall a great place to stay.
We are just home from our 3rd stay in Elysia park. Each time we were delighted with the facilities and the, helpful and friendly, staff. Our property was exceptionally clean. Gardens and around the pool were always clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend Elysia park. The staff even noticed my husbands birthday during our stay and gave him a lovely gift.
