A great location near the sea, and the best bars and restraunts. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. Our only complaints are the half board meal situation, While the hotel leaves a lovely bowl of fruit and sandwiches for your arrival, who wants to eat sandwiches at 01:30 in the morning? It would be much better if this meal was given at the end of your break especially if your on a late pick up. And the charge of 10 Euros per hour to keep a room on is quite expensive if you are a late pick up and want a shower and clean up before you leave, as there is no room for this purpose.
Easily the best hotel we have stayed in while in Cyprus, and we have been coming for 17 years! we came to this hotel last year and it’s amazing still. The staff are extremely friendly, especially one gentleman called Kawsar he was here last year and somehow remembered both mine and my mother’s name!! he greeted us every morning at breakfast and asked about our plans for the day. This is definitely the hotel if you are a cat lover, so many beautiful cats around who are friendly but will also leave you be if you aren’t too keen on them. The rooms are spotless, as is the rest of the hotel. Both times we have been facing into the hotel breakfast area so i can’t comment on any noise but it’s fairly close to some bars however we didn’t hear anything. The restaurant on site is very good, the only thing we notice is that if you go in a night you might get a few bug bites, at least we did but they didn’t have the aircon on at the time so i wonder if that’s a factor. Like most reviews might mention, there aren’t too many sunbeds, this wasn’t a problem for us as we came just before the start of the busy season, we also are early risers so we were around the pool for 9am onwards. Great value for money, we only had bed and breakfast as we aren’t big food people, had fresh baked things every morning! The hotel definitely has a chill and relaxing atmosphere, as there’s no pool side entertainment and as there’s very little for kids to do you find that it tends to just be adults that come.
Stayed here from 21/06/26 for a week and cannot wait to return.the hotel is in the perfect position forthe beach and for restauraunts and bars. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful especialy Santa on reception. We stayed B/B and found the food good and the staff kept the breakfast room spotless. We also ate in the Palace restauraunt in the hotel a number of times and again excellent. Our room was very good and window sound proofed. It was my wife's birthday whilst there and they put baloons on the door and wine and fruit in our room- Nice touch. Overall a great place to stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights late June. We arrived on an evening flight so our room was obviously ready. We took the small two person lift up to the 2nd floor with our luggage to locate our room. One thing I would start by saying is this hotel has a lot of steps throughout so even with the lift be prepared for steps, there are steps up to the hotel from the main street be it only a couple and then again in reception area, once you are on each floor even when using the lift there are still a couple of steps upstairs. That said the hotel is lovely and has everything you could need, it has recently been painted to give it a freshen up. Our room was plenty big enough for us both, large wardrobe with some hangers, drawers & safe, extra pillows and blankets if required are in there too. There is a kettle, fridge, cups & glasses, tea/coffee etc replenished every day. Lovely bottle of red wine and fruit bowl left waiting for us in our room along with robes & slippers. Towels were changed most days and bedding a couple of times during our stay. Our tv wasn't working one night and the plug came off the sink we reported to staff on our way out to dinner and the next day both were fixed. We had been told that rooms to the rear of the property were quite noisy so we requested a front facing room and although you can hear some sound from outside it isn't that bad that you can't sleep, it's quite muffled. That said nobody warned us about the church bells that went off regularly around 06.26am some days lol, I blamed my partner for not turning his alarm off but I soon realised it wasn't his, the bells also went off at other times but we kind of just got used to them. We were bed & breakfast and there was enough choice to keep you going, hot food, various eggs, sausages, bacon, beans, potato's & pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, cheeses, ham & bread for toasting, fresh juices/teas/coffees etc. We ate lunch twice & dinner twice in the hotel both lovely meals. Pool side, everyone loves a poolside moan, but we didn't struggle for a bed at all, yes some days we weren't right at the pool and was up on the balcony overlooking the seafront which was lovely too, there were days when towels were left laying there but still didn't struggle. The staff are what makes this holiday more relaxed, they walk about all day asking & serving drinks to you at your beds helps to add to the chilled vibe. Although it's quite a small pool it was never mega busy, although much like a kitchen party in the uk people love to gather at the steps to chat :-) The resident cats are also pretty chilled and love getting a good stroke but watch when moving your beds around they are not shy and quite often crawl under the beds for shade! All in all a lovely stay in a fresh, clean and friendly hotel.
We arrived in the afternoon, and the first thing I noticed was that there wasn't a ramp outside the hotel to bring the luggage in. I made my dissatisfaction known to the receptionist who asked a male staff member to bring our luggage to the room. However there were numerous steps and not many handrails throughout the hotel, which seriously need to be addressed, as it is a discrimination to elderly, disabled and families with pushchairs.
The hotel is in an excellent position being a 5 minute walk to the seafront and harbour, with all its bars, restaurants, shops and ice cream parlours. There are also some excellent restaurants and bars opposite the hotel.
The pool area with its sun terraces is a good enough size, and the pool water was a lovely temperature. The ladies often used to gather by the pool edge for a chat. There a waiters who constantly come around to see if you would like any refreshments, for a reasonable price, and there is a cafe called The Place Royal, which does an excellent menu for either lunch or dinner, again at a reasonable price and with good portion sizes, as do all the restaurants in Paphos.
Our bedroom was a good size, we had a deluxe room, which came with robes, slippers, fruit, wine and water. We had quite a long balcony, which was equipped with a table and chairs, but not an airer for your wet things. The air con and fan were excellent, and a welcome relief to the heat outside. There was adequate storage and the beds were very comfortable. Cyprus has the same plugs as us, so no need to bring adaptors. The bathroom was quite small, but adequate.
The lifts were pretty small, 3 people and it was crowded. The gardens and paths are pretty, but the walkways are quite uneven, so you need to have your wits about you.
Breakfast in the morning is basic, some cooked options, rolls and pastries, fruits, cereals, cheese, ham etc. The waiters and waitresses are very nice and polite, and work hard. All in all a good holiday, apart from the steps.
