Had an amazing stay at Avanti village, a family of 4 in a 1 bedroom apartment. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, a little dated but very clean. Bathroom towels and beach towels where included in your stay. The Aircon was free and working no problem, safety deposit box €17.50 for the week The staff where friendly and helpful. The pool bar was lovely and we ate in the restaurant a couple of times, always great food, the breakfast is great value for money. Be aware it is cashless, you can either pay by card or charge to your room, easy to do and you can pay your bills whenever you like at reception. The pool area was great, plenty of space and you could always find a sunbed somewhere throughout the day, activities like aquafit, water polo in the pool if you want to take part, also yoga on a morning. You could take inflatables etc into the pool and there was always music, a lovely vibe. The location is good, abit tricky in the heat but you could catch a bus outside or reception would happily ring you a taxi. Taxis where around €10 euro to the harbour, €12-€14 euro to the old town, buses where €2 an adult and €1 a child. There where plenty of restaurants/bars/ takeaways within walking distance and a supermarket out the back of the hotel which was reasonably priced. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and couldn't find any fault with the hotel, would definitely return!
Staff very nice, room clean, A/C awesome (v. Imp), pool huge with pool bar, beds and bathing space great, close to beach (c. 5mins walk), restaurants and bars close by.
Rooms are pretty spartan, could do with a little warmth such as a couple of lamps and less harsh light bulbs, fridge just about worked and yellow with age. Got the feeling complex would have been amazing its heyday, past glories almost shone through.
Note that breakfasts are cheaper when you arrive vs. Pre-book and there are loads of places close by to get something at a fraction of the price.
Would we go again? Yep, as we liked it, and the self-catering aparthotel type accommodation, but its horses for courses isn't it.
We spent a fantastic family holiday at Avanti Holiday Village. The hotel isn't brand new or luxurious, but it delivers exactly what a family needs: generous space, spotless cleanliness, and incredible hospitality.
Staff & Restaurant: The highlight of our stay was Dimitria, the restaurant manager. From day one, she was exceptionally attentive to our children's needs at breakfast and offered great local recommendations. The rest of the staff—reception, housekeeping, and maintenance—were consistently warm, polite, and helpful.
Rooms & Facilities: Our room was extremely spacious and clean. While the furniture is somewhat dated, it was comfortable and functional. The pool area is top-tier—large, clean, and ideal for kids.
Tips for Travelers:
Transportation: Having a rental car is recommended. Parking is free and plentiful on-site.
Location: Very close to Aphrodite Waterpark and within short driving distance to nearby shops and dining options.
We would gladly return for another family stay!
Fantastic Holiday from Start to Finish!! 🌞
We were a family of four (2 adults, one 13-year-old and one 15-year-old) travelling with Jet2, and we stayed at Avanti Village in Paphos for two weeks. We had an absolute ball!
The apartments are really spacious and extremely well equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. We were a family of four, but there is easily enough room for a family of five.
The rooms are cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided, except on Mondays and Thursdays. Pool towels are also provided, and you can change them daily between 10am and 11am for fresh ones.
Mark on reception was really helpful and gave us loads of good tips on where to go and what restaurants to try, he also booked tables for us.
The pool is huge and has a swim-up bar. The prices are very reasonable, and all the staff are really friendly and helpful.
There are some lovely restaurants just outside the resort, serving great food and drinks, and the beach is directly across the road, which is so convenient.
There is also a 24-hour doctor right outside the resort, and they were really nice and helpful.
Overall, Avanti Village is such a fantastic place for families. The location, facilities and amenities are perfect for a self-catering family holiday, and we would definitely recommend it!
We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return! ❤️
We stayed at Avanti Holiday Village in Paphos for 10 days as a family group of 16 celebrating a 50th birthday, and had a fantastic holiday from start to finish.
The pool area is spacious, clean, and ideal for both adults and children, with a great holiday atmosphere and plenty of space to relax.
The rooms are fairly basic but are extremely well cleaned every day, with daily towel changes and free pool towels provided. Everything was kept spotless and well maintained, which made a big difference to our stay.
The village is very well organised and easy to navigate, making it ideal for families and larger groups. The location is also excellent, with a bus stop right outside for easy access to Paphos and surrounding attractions.
We also cannot praise the restaurant team highly enough. We ate here every day for lunch, and the experience was consistently excellent.
The food is delicious – freshly cooked, well presented, generous portions, and exceptional value for money. There is plenty of variety, and everything we tried was cooked perfectly. In fact, some meals were better than those we had in local restaurants in Paphos.
Special credit goes to Demetria, the restaurant manager, who is outstanding. She is professional, hardworking, and leads her team with real dedication. The staff work tirelessly, often in extreme heat, while remaining friendly, attentive, and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble, and service is consistently excellent.
We did unfortunately witness some rude behaviour from a small number of guests towards the team, which was disappointing. Demetria handled every situation with calm professionalism, patience, and dignity, which was very impressive.
Overall, the restaurant offers fantastic food, great prices, and excellent service from a very hardworking team.
Demetria and her staff were a real highlight of our stay and a credit to the hotel.
A very easy five stars from us – we would happily return and highly recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting Paphos. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
