Spa massage was fantastic.
Paid a visit to the Retreat spa and had a full body massage. Meena my therapist was fantastic. Came out feeling so rejuvenated.
Lovely hotel - not great for teens
We chose this hotel for an all round family experience. Our children are 11 & 13. My son and husband enjoyed the golf. We took the all inclusive package which was good value but there wasn’t much choice at lunch, buffet or the Mexican. The food was good overall. The biggest issues were the sun beds. People were out there and reserving them from 6.30am! My goodness! This meant no beds for anyone else and as I wasn’t prepared to do this, we didn’t get a sun bed the entire week, it was a huge inconvenience and means I wouldn’t book again. The pool also closes at 6pm which is too early and there is absolutely nothing for the teens to do in the evening. This hotel works for young children but not teens as they were bored all evening. A table tennis or pool table would have been ideal! The hotel is high up in the hills, you can’t get to a beach, and it’s 100 euro taxi to the nearest town so you are restricted to the resort. Overall it was a nice hotel but didn’t suit our family needs.
