- Akti Beach Village Resort

Surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens, the Akti Beach Village Resort is located directly on the Mediterranean Sea. It is constructed in the typical white architecture of the area and features studios as well as 1- and 2-bedroom apartments. Attractions such the Tombs of the Kings, Coral Bay, the Panagia Winery, Paphos Castle, the Mosaic Museum and the centre of the historic city of Paphos are within easy reach. The village resort is an ideal place for couples and families with children who wish to spend their holidays under the Mediterranean sun.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
As a family of 5 with 3 older children we spent 10 nights at this hotel, i enjoyed my stay here but there was a few things that let it down. The plus points were the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms (they are dated). Plenty of sunbeds to go around, especially at the front with a nice cove area to enter the sea. The pool was nice and not over crowded. Most of the staff are friendly and the table service in the evening is a nice touch What let's it down is the food, drink and location. The food, as a vegan i have always struggled with all inclusive and the Akti Beach was probably better then most. What i wasn't happy about is that on the first day i spoke to the head chef who told me he would arrange some variation for snacks and desert. This did not happen, there was nothing different and i lost count of the food being labelled incorrectly or not at all. I had also emailed the hotel before my arrival and heard nothing. As some reviews have also mentioned the food was lukewarm. The drinks were what you expect, flat beer and cheap wine. we paid for a couple of cocktails and they were not much better. The soft drinks are ok with Lemonade been the favourite. The Location as some have mentioned is very quiet and you do struggle with things to do at night. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would not return.
We have spent a lovely week in Akti Beach at the beginning of June and would definitely highly recommend.

Another suggestion to the hotel - place a large mirror in a lovely frame somewhere in the hotel with hotel's name on it, as people would definitely use for social media posts. Unfortunately I was unable to find a full length mirror anywhere.
Myself and my wife have just returned from a seven night stay here in this gorgeous hotel but tgers something missing which I will get to but first the good news . If you have booked here then you can look forward to a lovely relaxing and fresh and gorgeous hotel were the staff are polite and friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean spacious and have if you book the one we were in (756) a view to die for. Beds are very comfortable nice clean sheets soft pillows and . Air conditioning is full functional if not a bit loud. You have a lovely modern bath room.with walk in rainfall shower all sundries there with clean towels changed everyday. Nice big wardrobe with plenty of hangers and a safe which is €2 per day plus €10 deposit returned on check out . Beautiful balcony with fantastic view of the pool and sea and gets tge sun most of the day. You also have the choice of 3 pools 2 outdoor and a inside pool. The 2 outdoor have a nice bar area with snacks and drinks and they're kept emaculate. Night time entertainment was pretty good most nights couple of nights felt it lacked the fun factor. Now this brings me to the something missing Before we booked her we obviously done research and most of not all were raving about the food, well hhmm nit to mine and my wife's taste Sorry but mostly cold and bland and cheap quality is my take away of our experience sorry Akti everything else was delightful but the food for most the part nope also lunch at the outdoor pool area is a bit naff and unhygienic also cold and choice limited also the snacks in between meals was nothing short of poor, again guys sorry but that's my opinion. Secondly the hotels location. €25 taxi ride to get into town one way is extortionate. They do run a small bus from.tge hotel at €6 return every 2nd day but depends on how many people are going or the guys just cancels there are no restaurants and there's 1 pub up the road that's not worth the ten minutes walk so Ave you're energy. So if you're planning nights of even day trips into town or feel like going clubbing I would suggest this not for you . Would i return?? Yes most definitely its basically a 8 out ten I'd give the hotel.nice relaxing place to stay clean and great for couples and families alike but could up their game on the food a bit.
My daughter Poppy & I stayed at The Akti Beach village hotel for 1 week in June 2026. The hotel was clean, set in lovely surroundings. A stunning cove lays at the bottom of the hotels pretty gardens & pool. The staff are lovely. From the reception team to the waiters/waitresses. The lovely spanish girl from entertainment team was so so lovely too. The food was plentiful & always nice. Our room was large, with air-conditioning & a decent sized fridge. We met some lovely guests whilst at the Akti Beach, friendly happy hotel. I enjoyed a massage from the onsite spa. The hotel has 3 swimming pools. 2 outside, 1 inside. All nice. I loved the pool which overlooks the sea so pretty. All in all a lovely stay. Thank you Akti beach, hope to return to you one day. Xx
Location is about 20 mins by car to the harbour. It's in a quiet location BUT there's an all day organised events within the resort. The animation team is always present at the kids play area to play and entertain the kids. There's a cove where you can swim or snorkel. There are two outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool separate from the kids pools x2. It's a pleasant swimming experience as the pools are not heaving. The drinks are good, particularly the cocktails. I loved the malibu, rhum punch and cuba libre. The food is great, different themes every night, my favourites were, Cypriot, Mexican and Oriental. Bring a water bottle as they don't provide new bottled water daily. There’s a water refilling station where you can fillyour bottles. Would I go back and stay there again? Absolutely.
Big thank you and Special mention to the lady at the reception who was on nights when we got there. Sorry, I forgot your name. Also to Jenn from Germany also in reception. The Nepali boys, Milan, Suman and Puram I think his name was and also the guy at the cooking station. Sangita, Babita, Eugene, in the upstairs bar. And last but not the least, to Daniel, the young Ukrainian lad who is always smiling. Thanks v much, guys
