Thalassa Boutique Hotel and Spa - Adults Only

This is such a fabulous hotel. We’ve just returned from 10 days there after spending the same last year in August.

We were on an AI deal and the standard has been maintained from last year. It’s the staff who make the difference. Many of the staff were there again this year and that speaks volumes for the management ethic.

Nothing is too much trouble. They are so attentive to your needs and very welcoming from the moment you step into the hotel. A warm welcome by reception even at 11.30 at night. Sandwiches, fruit and a bottle of wine was very welcome after a long journey.

The restaurant is superb. Plenty of choice on the buffet for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. Evening meals are themed so lots of different tastes during our stay.

We again had a Coral Bay view from our room although a Corallia Bay view is also available giving you a sunset view rather than a sunrise.

The pool is relatively small but bearing in mind there are only 100 rooms it never gets crowded and lounger bagging isn’t necessary. It’s very laid back with pool bar staff on hand to bring you drinks.

A big shout out to Joti who is really friendly, helpful and courteous.

Rooms are tasteful and has a free lockbox and minibar which is regularly restocked.

Management are very visible and welcome feedback on how the customer experience can be improved.

Would we go back? A big fat YES.

After reading all the excellent reviews on this hotel we decided to book a 10 night All inclusive stay there. Wow!!!!! we were not disappointed. This is a small (100 rooms) boutique hotel, the design is traditional, very well maintained and spotlessly clean. It has a very relaxing and peaceful quality to it, no sunbed wars here….. beds were available at any given time every day round the pool, beach bar and on the beach with drinks, which are of an excellent quality, served straight to your beds. The buffet restaurant is beautifully presented, the food is varied every night to a different theme and is of a fantastic quality and amazing taste, expertly overseen by the brilliant head chef who is obviously very passionate and proud of the food that is presented, it is the only hotel I have stayed where the food is just as good and as well presented no matter what time you visit. The main stars of this hotel are the staff. They always greet you with a smile and a warm welcome and provide a friendly and efficient service which reflects greatly on the whole atmosphere of the hotel. Unfortunately a couple of days before we left I suffered a fall (not at the hotel) and fractured my leg, the staff were so kind and caring, offering their help and support to us and I cannot thank them enough. We don’t normally return to a hotel twice as we prefer to experience different places but we will definitely be returning to this one!!
