This resort, especially designed for families offers studios and apartments, all with the necessary amenities to make your stay more enjoyable. It is located in Coral Bay just 50 meters from the sea and 11 km from the city of Paphos. The hotel has a large restaurant open 14 hours a day. Among its services, it highlights the outdoor pool, tennis courts, gym and sauna.
I feel as someone staying currently I need to leave a review. I saw the pictures amd thought this place looked amazing and couldn't believe the price I paid. Admittedly feb half term is cheap compared to most. I then looked up the facilities almost a year after booking and saw the hotel rated itself as 4* and the reviews were terrible. We travel all the time and mostly stay in bog standard accommodation as we are a family of 5 tied to school holiday prices. We have stayed very basic. The first thing I want to agree with is the accommodation is tired. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment and there was a lot of damage from precious leaking water. However as someone who regularly goes to Greece- appreciate not Cyprus- I know that our standard of decor is a lot more modern than the more traditional style in place in these destinations. The room was cleaned daily quickly and efficiently. As a self catering guest I appreciated this a lot as I'm used to doing everything myself. The sheets and towels were changed on day 4 of our stay. The kitchen was ill equipped for those that want to self cater. There was a toaster, kettle, microwave and 2 hobs. Unfortunately the electrics tripped all the time if you used the 2 hob rings at a time which meant cooking has to be done in stages as if camping. Doable but be prepared. Not ideal as a family of 5. The fridge didn't open properly without getting stuck on the floor and had only a small ice box at the top. The WiFi didn't appear to work in the room nor the taoster but we later learned it was as we had tripped the electrics using both hob rings The weather as expected was hit and miss and this was where I can really rate the hotel. The outdoor pool was drained as expected in the mild weather. The indoor pool was heated to the same heat as my pool at the gym and was perfect for swimming in The jacuzzi was hot and had a lot of jets and was big. This gave us something to do when the weather was cloudy. The best part we never once shared the pool area with anyone else which is truly the 4* feel having your own wellness area. The staff were really helpful reuniting us with a lost teddy on bed change day. My only negative would be to say the mini market has NOTHING in it. We ran out of toothpaste and they had none. There was no food at all that you could have used for self catering purposes. Literally milk and bread. We asked where the nearest supermarket was and was told it was 12 euro in a taxi. The supermarket was well stocked and offered free delivery with people included following your shop. However it is not cheap. 145 euros on first basic shop. Delivery is also slow. We later discovered there is a super market within walkable distance- the first is not! However it is really for essentials as I would expect the mini market on site to be. Ie bread. Basic fruit and veg. Toothpaste ect. Had we known this was available we would not have revisited the big supermarket twice to restock Also worth noting there is nothing within the vicinity such as restaurants open in february so you really do have to self catering or pay the 80e a day to upgrade to all inclusive. The menu consisted of things like pizza and jacket potato. We paid for a few things and had the first burnt pizza I've ever had so I'm glad we didn't upgrade. All in all we have had a really nice holiday. Half a week of good weather. Half the facilities but those have been 4star. And very helpful staff. I honestly think this is a perfectly reasonable hotel and we definitely got value for what we paid with the added bonus of a cleaner! More than worth the taxi ride to the supermarket!
Not a winter break spot. Bus ride or approx 50 min walk to Coral Bay Strip. Not a lot open. No outdoor pools (work being done) Studio S/C little niggle with first room but sorted & moved. Shower was coming away from the wall. Definitely needs updating.
The hotel went into receivership today 6th March. I would say during my stay (2days to go ) the staff have been very helpful such a shame they lose jobs on Monday. The hotel is / was run down and needs a lot of money spent on it....its also a 50 min walk into coral bay if you don't have a car.
We arrived at Panareti at 01.30am on 24th March to be greeted with a dark shut down place. A scruffy guy asleep on a sofa informed us that the site was closed and the bank had taken over. He was difficult to understand as very broken English. Stuck with 2 very young children tired and restless let alone scared as the resort looked a mess we quickly arranged alternative accomodation. We booked through booking.com and informed them in the morning about our issue. They never got back. We went back in the morning as we could see the resort in daylight and what a mess it was. Over grown borders, empty swimming pool, it looked derelict. We were approached by a man wearing a hat and chains and rings, looking like some gangster. He also said in broken english that the resort was closed and taken over by the bank and no longer accomodating. We took pictures then returned to our nearby accomodation so we could enjoy our break. A month on we are still trying to get a refund. Booking.com have not been very helpful and all responses from them are written as if we havent gone yet. They are saying the resort can still accomodate the booking. How when booking has passed and how can a resort that bad still be able to accomodate. DO NOT BOOK THIS RESORT AND DO NOT BOOK THROUGH BOOKING.COM as somewhere there is lack of communication. Still waiting for refund.
Do Not Book, it closed down in March 2025. Various holiday/accommodation sites are still advertising it. It went bankrupt.
