Louis Paphos Breeze

Just returned from the Louis paphos breeze, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone who likes a hotel with friendly extremely hard working staff where nothing is too much trouble and always a big smile. The suite was large and comfortable with very comfortable beds, I opted for a sea view suite which I would recommend as the view and sunsets were awesome. The food although not hot was amazing, fantastic choice of delicious dishes and the desserts were to die for! The pool area was clean and spacious with lots of sun beds which were very comfortable, the pool itself was clean if a little chilly lol The cleaners did a fantastic job, everywhere inside and out of the hotel was immaculately clean . I must finish by applauding the staff, they all worked so hard day and night and always with a welcoming smile , they took the time to chat and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be returning!

A lovely hotel, but not quite the peaceful escape we were hoping for!

We stayed at the Louis Paphos Breeze last year and had such a relaxing time that we decided to return this year to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, this time around, things were rather different!

First, the positives. The staff are absolutely excellent — friendly, attentive and a real credit to the hotel. The food is also very good, with plenty of choice and definitely suited to British tastes, so there’s little chance of going hungry.

However, the biggest surprise was the sheer number of children at the hotel! We were expecting a peaceful, relaxing break, but at times it felt more like we’d accidentally booked ourselves into the school holidays’ official headquarters! 😂 There were certainly enough little ones around to keep an entire primary school entertained.

Now, I’m only 52, so I’m hardly ready for my pipe and slippers just yet, and I completely appreciate that families want to enjoy their holidays too. But there’s a difference between a family-friendly hotel and the quiet, laid-back atmosphere we remembered from our previous visit.

A special mention for the general manager, who always seems to have a face like someone’s just told him the hotel has run out of beer! 😂 In all fairness, though, he’s actually a really nice guy — perhaps he’s just saving his smiles for when the children have all gone home!

Sadly, the sheer number of children made a huge difference to the overall experience. Having returned with such fond memories and hoping to celebrate a special milestone in peace, we left feeling rather disappointed.

The staff are fantastic, the food is good, but the tranquillity we came back for was sadly missing.

It’s a real shame, as we genuinely enjoyed our stay last year. However, given the experience this time, we won’t be returning. Perhaps next time we’ll look for somewhere a little less popular with the under-12s!

A lovely hotel, but unfortunately not the anniversary escape we had hoped for.

This was my second visit to the hotel, having previously stayed last year with my family. This time I came with my sister, and we had another lovely stay. It was so nice to see some of the same staff again, and a few even remembered me from my previous visit, which made it feel extra special. A special mention to the chef and all the staff for being so accommodating with my gluten-free diet. Nothing was too much trouble, and the lovely gluten-free pizza they made for me on Italian night was absolutely delicious. It really makes a difference when you can relax and enjoy your holiday knowing your dietary needs are being taken seriously. A huge shout-out to Dipak at the adults' pool bar, who was an absolute credit to the hotel. His service, friendliness and attitude really stood out and helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you to everyone for making our return visit so memorable. We had a fantastic time and would happily return again!
