Very good hotel for families with children. Lots of entertainment that includes the whole family. Everything you need at hand. Very stylish rooms and hotel area. Beautiful pool area and plenty of sun-bed areas. Location on bus routes so easily accessible to Coral Bay and Paphos Harbour. Staff always keeping the place clean and tidy. Great value and offers many other services. Had a massage with Istvar who was very professional and respectful. Felt fully relaxed after the experience.
A good and long and relaxing massage
Pros- Has a decent pool
Cons- Filthy, mould in rooms, baths have grime, carpets in corridors never seen a vacuum in recent years.
The kids club is a prison of dirt, no toys and the workers openly telling the children they hate working there. No schedule or routine and do not even watch the children- mine escaped twice because they hated it so much.
The food was utterly disgusting. Best thing was the fruit anything made by the chefs was off, smelt bad or tasted days old. The drinks were watered down and extremely cheap quality. All inclusive- You were offered one bottle of water on day1 and told to refill it with their undrinkable fountains for the remainder of the trip.
You could only make use of the waterpark if you book all inclusive which needs to be made clearer in advertising and pictures.
Hotel staff did not want to be there. No one was helpful- never greeted with smiles- we felt more like an inconvenience.
Guests smoking weed in bedrooms - hotel staff didn’t care and took no action.
Guests smoking cigarettes in the toilets - hotel staff didn’t care and took no action.
Best thing for this hotel would be to deep clean and sack incompetent staff.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed in hands down- I’ve been in much better 3*s
It was very good I recommend to do it
We stayed at King Evelthon in April 2026 for our wedding. Our actual wedding day was absolutely amazing and I cannot fault that.
Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was very different.
The area of the hotel we were staying in was filthy. I was genuinely in tears before my wedding because all I wanted was somewhere clean to keep and put on my wedding dress. I shouldn't have been worrying about my dress touching dirty carpets and floors in a hotel advertised as five-star.
Despite being there to get married, we were given two single beds, our family was spread around different areas of the hotel and my daughter's room had a leak.
What upset us most, though, was how we felt we were treated. Our family and wedding party felt pre-judged and constantly watched, as though staff were waiting for somebody to do something wrong.
We were there to celebrate a wedding, not cause trouble. I completely understand dealing with guests who actually behave badly, but people should be judged on their behaviour, not treated like a problem before they've done anything.
I went to Cyprus expecting to feel like a bride. At times, I felt more like a suspect.
It's such a shame because our wedding itself was incredible. But a five-star wedding hotel should make its guests feel welcome and comfortable.
I shouldn't have been in tears worrying about keeping my wedding dress clean, and our family shouldn't have been made to feel watched and judged.
