Resort was as expected, rooms were nice and had usable utilities. Only issue I encountered was an ant problem but being up in the mountains and it being winter bugs are expected, so I’d advise to get some bug spray in case you encounter any and don’t leave food/drinks open. Views from apartment were lovely and had a cleaner every two days who did a great job, any issues were resolved almost immediately by the staff. I’d say this resort is more like an Airbnb so if you’re looking for more of a hotel with drinks, food 24/7 etc look elsewhere. You’re also going to need a car or some sort of transport if you’re staying here as it’s around a 30min-1 hour walk to the nearest bus stop they do offer car hires at the front desk and there is a taxi service. Overall I had a good experience I just wish there was more local transport, would definitely recommend to solo travellers. Great price too.
Extremely unprofessional and unreliable people. I wanted to rent an apartment long-term and paid a amount of money to have it reserved. After 5 days, they told me the apartment was no longer available — even though I was supposed to move in within days.
Because of this, I ended up without the apartment I was currently living in and without the new one. No responsibility, no respect for their word, and zero professionalism. I strongly do not recommend dealing with them.
We had noticed several reviews mentioning the lack of hot water. As a precaution, we called the establishment before booking. During the call, we simply asked whether there was indeed hot water. The person on the phone confirmed that there was. I then explained that we were asking because we had read some online reviews stating otherwise. The reaction was immediate and particularly unpleasant : our interlocutor became irritated and told us, “If you’re not happy, don’t come,” before hanging up on us. We were surprised by this complete lack of professionalism and willingness to address a legitimate question. In light of this phone exchange, we decided not to stay at this establishment.
Good value for money as Cyprus residents with a car taking a couple of nights down in Paphos. Not a UK holiday destination, you will be stranded, sunburnt and hungry. Huge potential if a big firm took it over, main pool very nice and villas a bargain for €55 a night for a family of 5. Stunning views of the mountains and the coast.
This is not a 4* hotel as advertised on this website. It is more along the lines of a 2 or 3. That said, this should not put you off booking it but you do need to manage your expectations accordingly. We got this accomodation at a very decent price (£90 for 7 nights, 2 people, 1 bedroom studio). That alone kind of tells you what to expect, and I think the price is fair for what you get.
The rooms are basic but have everything you need. The aircon is decent, beds are comfy and they are clean. The rooms are spacious and have generous balconies. The pool is big and has a bar which opens from 3.30pm serving a fair selection of drinks (no draught beers or premium spirits, but what is offered was good enough).
Couple of pointers to make your stay more comfortable if staying here:
• book a villa or studio, they have been refurbed and they are ok • you will need a means of transport to get out and about. This isnt a fly and flop destination • stop off for a supermarket shop on your way to check in, as theres not much here • bring towels as no pool towels provided and the ones in the room arent changed that often (expected in alignment with the price we paid)
If your visiting Paphos for a specific reason and dont mind driving, this accomodation is a perfect base.
If your looking for somewhere to do as little as possible, with eating and drinking close by, there may be better accomodations to chose from.
This accomodation has real potential to be a lovely resort one day, I hope it continues to be developed and furbished.
