Honest review... get comfy its lengthy. Just returned spent a week at this hotel with 2 boys age 12 and 15 and husband age 37 🤣
Hotel- it is a nice hotel VERY clean and well looked after. The staff are very attentive at clearing rubbish away but sometimes too attentive if you leave your drink for 2 mins unattended its gone ha. Thank god it was all inclusive. Reception staff were pleasant and very helpful the guest relations are very helpful and restaurant and bar staff cannot do enough to accomodate. No problems at all with the hotel.
Food - there is plenty to offer. We managed 2 meals at the a la cartes we did italian and burger house both lovely! And inclusive with ur all inclusive. There is also a lebanese but we are un cultured swines and gave it a miss. Buffet restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner is hit and miss. Some nights were ok but we chose to eat out a couple of nights as wasnt to our taste. Thats not to say not nice just not for us. Lots to offer but not our thing. Snack bars are ideal for a bite by the pool offer burgers, pasta, pizza, hot dogs, puddings, ice cream, chips, salad, sandwiches, gyros and more... there is really nothing to moan about here. All fresh and topped up regularly throughout the day.
Location- its a bit out of the way of town atmosphere but there is a bus which is €2 to the mall and area where there r bars and restaurants. There is also a gorgeous beach bar just down the prom 2 min walk which we went to every night if you go you must try the traditional lemonade. I think its called barcas but not 100%. Beach at the rear of hotel and coral bay is a bus away also. Really not that bad an easily accessable.
Pool - pool was great nice and warm but it had 33° heat to help. Bar and snack bars. There are two main pools we only went to the one next to the splashpark. This was great plenty of sunbeds no 6am battle and a grassed area if you prefer to be away. Kept very very clean the pool attendants are very on it with clearing up cups and food left behind (for those who couldnt locate one of the many bins!) . Pool was clean my only issue was the lifeguard... wow does he like his whistle. Dont come for me as i am a health and safety advisor (booo) but every time a chilled even looked like they would do a jump in the pool off the whistle went. I get for safety but felt it was very over the top. Diving ok can let that be whistled but a general jump in i thought was excessive.
Rooms- rooms are nice air con is a bit tempremental but we got there in the end. We had inland view with balcony and no issues on location of room. Large bed for us adults and a sofa bed for the kids (did feel a bit hard) but was fine for my 6ft 15 yr old and 12 year old to top and tail. Our room was on level 4 ... few things there was a constant foul smell in the hall way and our bathroom seemed to be plaugued with small flies. I bought spray but we were eaten alive. I know i should have raised this with reception but between the heat and a pre teen i let it slide. Our cleaner NINA was amazing every morning there to clean room fresh towels made beds and a fresh bottle of water in the fridge everyday.
NOTE - there are two switches by your door. Do not disturb and clean room which displays outside. Make sure if you want it cleaned or you dont to check which is lit outside your room otherwise you may spend the week thinking they dont clean your rooms.
Beach - hotel has its own private beach lagoon with all inclusive bar and sunbeds. Which i thought was ace. Its a bit rocky till u go further out but its great.
Entertainment- we didnt really watch any with us having teen/pre teen it wasnt cool enough but there was something every night! One thing if you have teens there is minimal for them at hotel. There is an arcade but half the machines just eat your money and dont work. The kids area full of games machines is only for ages 4-12 which disappointed my 15 yr old. So unless you have kids of that age that will mix with others they are limited to games areas.
Slides- brilliant! One dome slide was out of order but it was no problem. There are 4 other slides and had no issue getting the rings or mats needed. There is a snack bar here also inclusive and a smaller kids area. Lazy river is a bit naff.
Not sure if i have missed anything except... Airport is 25 mins away. I would also recommend the buggy safari to adonis baths this was amazing!!
All in all would return. Enjoyed our holiday. Beautiful sunsets!!
We went with our family of 5 to this hotel on September 4th. The hotel is old, they only put new paint on the walls. The water park-the water is in a poor quality of cleanliness. The stairs to the slides are dirty. You pay for all including BUT not ALL included. The fries at the snack bar is not "included" , mohito is NOT included and many more... The restaurants, if you want to book, its says "NOT AVAILABLE"... but if you complain, suddenly there is....
From outside down the road it’s looks like jail The rooms is very old, just new paint on the walls Pool is dirty and the food is horrible Stay away from this place
Great stay at the hotel, great experience with Cristina in the spa for a facial and overall a lovely holiday🏝️
Food was great. Pools were good although can get a little busy. Entertainment was good.
Rooms were clean and comfy.
Kids club area was sufficient however there was no mention about needing to pay more for the one area of the soft play until you try to go in.
Spa was relaxing and Cristina was fantastic for a facial, lots of hydrating products and a very warm and welcoming treatment from Cristina🥰
We didn’t leave the complex as our 4 year old preferred being at the waterpark but that’s fine for us.
Staff are helpful, a little quiet but seeing how some of the guests treat them you can see why!
Ice cream was very limited to only scooped ice cream, no variety which was a slight downfall for our son but not an issue.
All in all, really good holiday!
It was fantastic awatasia was amazing with my session
