Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
great location right by the sea perfect for the most beautiful sunsets this hotel have the best entertainment team so funny and kind and they made may stay 100 times better
Nice hotel, but not as advertised.
Before we arrived, we asked our package provider to request a room with a bath for our special needs child. On arrival we were told the hotel has no rooms with baths. While this may not be the hotel's fault, the hotel is also far from accessible, with steep stairs throughout.
Our bed sheet smelled of mildew when we arrived. After removing it twice to be replaced, it was eventually removed but not replaced revealing the remaining sheet had a hole in it. The other beds sheet also had stains. After that day-to-day cleaning was amazing in rooms & around the hotel, shame about the constant smell of sewage.
Most of the staff were lovely, but one receptionist was quite rude. She interrupted her colleague, who was already helping me by calling the spa, and insisted I go downstairs myself, despite me being heavily pregnant.
The food was disappointing, with very little variety.
The entertainment team were excellent, but they regularly held loud water polo games in the main pool instead of the activities pool. This made the main pool unusable for other guests, and even those sitting nearby were getting splashed or hit by the ball. There was also very little for children aged 5+ to do. The main pool was closed for cleaning until 11am on one morning, and another guest said this had happened before, with management showing little concern.
On our final morning, someone who wasn't staff managed to unlock and enter our room while we were asleep. At checkout, reception called me by someone else's name, making me wonder if our room had been reassigned before we had checked out.
It's also a shame the hotel shop has closed, as the nearest shop is a 5–10 minute walk away. Finally, the hotel advertises itself as beachfront, but the beach didn't feel safe due to the strong waves and seemed much more suitable for guests of the neighbouring hotel.
Would recommend this as an adults only hotel.
Lovely hotel lovely staff lovely food 10/10 only fault is dartboard and darts are crap and can’t play properly with the hotel entertainment same with table tennis equipment
The hotel’s location was excellent, and the food was of a good standard with a wide variety of options available. The entertainment team were engaging and professional throughout our stay. Whilst the entertainment manager was personable, I would advise younger adults to exercise a degree of caution.
Towards the end of our stay, we discovered that the key card we had left in the room’s electricity slot had been removed. Upon reporting this to reception, we were informed that this had occurred on numerous occasions previously and that the staff member was not surprised it had happened. She issued us with two replacement key cards and assured us that the original cards would be deactivated. However, we subsequently found that the original key cards continued to provide access to our room. When we returned to reception to raise what we considered to be a significant security concern, the matter was dismissed. We were simply advised that there was nothing to worry about and to display the “Do Not Disturb” sign to prevent anyone from entering the room.
The room itself was clean and well presented. However, housekeeping fell short of expectations, as the bedding and towels were not replaced with the frequency one would reasonably anticipate during our stay.
ElENI holiday resort offers moderate facilities, yet the staff they stands out. The team is kitted, professional, and attractive, providing a level of hospitality that significantly enhances the stay. A special mention goes to YIANNA at restoran Breakfast,a true sunbeam that brightens everything around make every morning more pleasant. One area that needs improvement is the section with the juice and soft drinks machines: during lunch and dinner, water _ syrup often accumulates on the floor, cleaning or better drainage would easily resolve this.
