Very good as usual Aris was the perfect host again

Return visit to this lovely hotel. Food good lots of choices at all meal times. Staff very friendly, they can’t do enough for you especially Aris and his team in the restaurant. Plenty sunbeds no sunbed wars here. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Perfect location the beach on one side, the strip with bars and restaurants on the other. The land view rooms at the back of the hotel are quiet with no noise from the bars on the strip. Everywhere clean. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday

Another great stay at the Vrissiana Beach Hotel. The food was good, and although we were on half board and I did eat in the hotel some nights, I really prefer to try the many restaurants in the area when I’m on holiday—especially as eating out in London is so expensive. I only wish the hotel offered B&B, as that would suit me perfectly.

You can swap your evening meal for lunch, but that would have been far too much for me, so my friend stuck to the buffet while I went out most evenings to sample different restaurants.

The room was spacious as usual, with a walk-in shower that I loved and always request. The beds were very comfortable—they always seem better when you’re away. The hotel is centrally located but set slightly down an incline from the strip, so you don’t hear any noise at all.

The hotel itself is lovely, and the manager, Savvoula, along with the reception staff, are so welcoming and friendly. Everyone there is. But I did have one bugbear this time: the sunbed situation. As with many places, people were out early snagging their preferred beds around the pool. There are a couple of beds on decking at the side of the gardens with tables for your suncream and drinks, but those went quickly too. The remaining beds on the grass weren’t ideal, as the grass was patchy, leaving you standing or placing your things on dirt—not great when you’re barefoot. I know the hotel can’t do much about this, but an artificial lawn would make a big difference, like another hotel I love. And honestly, allocated sunbeds for the duration of your stay would solve the whole problem. I don’t go on holiday to get up early; I do enough of that at home for work.

Regardless of that, I enjoyed everything about my stay once again. I’ve been to this wonderful hotel several times, and even though my friend was ill for most of the trip and struggled with the heat, the manager Savvoula was incredibly understanding and sympathetic.
