The new renovated 4 star Vangelis Hotel & Suites is comfortably situated in a prime location in the heart of wonderful Protaras.It is opposite to the finest beaches - the famous Fig Tree Bay and close to Konnos Bay as well as to the National Forest Park of Cape Greco (Cavo Greko). The accommodation units range from spacious, luxury, brand new One Bedroom Suites and Deluxe Superior rooms to non renovated Studio and One-Bedroom apartments with kitchenette facilities. The Hotel offers a variety of leisure facilities that include a large lagoon style swimming pool, separate adults only swimming pool, children's pool and an indoor pool. Other facilities include a tennis court, table tennis, fitness centre with a gym and Spa. Supervised MINI KIDS CLUB is available for our younger guests with an outside playground and an indoor playroom with soft furniture and games. A unique dining experience is offered with a choice of 3 restaurants, a cafeteria for freshly roasted coffees and snacks and 3 bars for day and night cocktails and refreshments.

Spa Treatment
The spa treatment was amazing. The receptionist Andria was so lovely and welcoming. Januka who gave the treatments was amazing, couldnt recommend enough!
Wonderful time
We had a wonderful experience at the hotel, and I especially want to thank the amazing spa team!
A special thank you to Januka, who gave both my husband and me an absolutely perfect massage. She truly has golden hands! ✨ And a big thank you to Andrea, the spa manager, who made the entire experience even more pleasant, welcoming, and enjoyable. You are both truly wonderful women, and we are so grateful for the care and warmth you showed us.
As for the hotel itself, it is really lovely and perfectly located right in the center of the main street, within walking distance of everything you need. It makes exploring the area so easy and convenient.
Thank you for making our stay and spa experience so special. We would definitely recommend it! ❤️
The only downside was that the outdoor pool water was extremely cold, and it seems the hotel doesn’t heat the pool.
Perfect hotel with the best staff
Another stay is this gorgeous hotel. All staff are amazing. Special mention to Maria in the restaurant and Rukesh in the adult only pool bar. What a credit to your team they are. Our second visit this year. Back next June for our 6th visit.

Cold food
Such a shame we stayed at a really lovely resort in Paphos for 5 days before coming here for 5 days. This probably showed us how a hotel can do things opposed to the Vangelis. When we arrived we were basically given a list of things that you can't do, drinks after 11pm....pay for them, the lovely food they advertise in the pool bar....pay for them. Its a good location and to be honest we didn't hear the strip when the doors were closed. The room was really nice, well equipped and clean. Now we go on to the food. Warm if that, my brother in law chose pizza and chips one lunchtime and had to leave it because it was stone cold. There is also not a lot of choice and it became a case of what can we eat that is barely warm that is not likely to make us ill. Forget the snack bar, its stone cold chips or a sandwich taken out of its wrapper and put in a toastie machine. Do they make the food so poor that you would pay for the nicely prepared food that you have to pay for? I did speak to the Tui rep but he said that we weren't the first to complain about the temperature of the food but there was nothing he could do (apparently hotels in Protaras don't have the same money that the hotels in Paphos do due to the shorter season) but I just want hot food that is not going to make me ill. Well unfortunately 3 of us did end up with upset stomachs, hardly surprising when the food isn't at the legal temperature. I spoke to the hotel and the Service Manager was very pleasant and said that we could eat in the ala carte that evening (we had booked for the following evening as our one allowed visit) and the food there was amazing. He assured me that he would speak to the head chef and make sure that the food was hot. To be fair to the hotel, when we then went for breakfast the next morning it was hot. My point is you shouldn't have to complain about the temperature of the food, that is a basic requirement. Staff were ok, but after staying at the Louis Phaethon for the previous 5 days where the staff really can not do enough for you, perhaps we were spoilt. I would visit Protaras again, the area is beautiful and the sea is amazing but I will give Vangelis a miss. There are better places to stay.
