Very nice hotel, clean, staff friendly. Plenty of choice in restaurant. Value for money. Pool towels provided free of charge. Plenty of sunbeds. Very good stay
Very nice stayed in the apartments absolutely lovely very clean check in was very nice and quick no problems food we had breakfast very nice and we eat sometimes in the evening plenty of choice pool super clean and all staff very friendly and work very hard would I return definitely, thanks for a fantastic stay x
We had a slightly less-than-ideal start to our stay when our door keys didn’t work, but the staff worked hard to get the problem sorted, which we appreciated.
The rooms are fairly basic but comfortable and perfectly adequate for a holiday. Housekeeping was generally good, although on a few occasions our towels were taken away without being replaced, meaning we had to call reception to get some brought up.
The food was a real highlight. There was lots of variety and plenty of choice, with the many salads being particularly good. We also thought it was a nice touch that staff came around to serve drinks at lunch and dinner rather than having to get them yourself.
The snack bar was another bonus, serving tasty burgers, hot dogs, toasties and chips. Just be aware that everything is made to order, so you can wait up to around 20 minutes, particularly when it’s busy.
There was also a good variety of drinks available, and it was great to see so many cocktails included in the all-inclusive package. The Gin Fizz was a particular favourite!
The pool area was clean and there seemed to be plenty of sunbeds to go around, although some guests did get up early to reserve their preferred spots.
The entertainment was okay, but it runs on a seven-day cycle. As we stayed for more than a week, we ended up seeing the same magician performing the same tricks in the same order as the previous week, and the singer also performed the same songs in the same order. A little more variety would definitely improve things for longer stays. We did venture out to the nearby Station Pub a few times in the evenings, which was a nice change of scenery.
One thing we felt was a little unfair was the €2 charge for replacing the all-inclusive wristbands. They break quite easily, so having to pay for a replacement when they aren’t particularly durable seems unnecessary.
Most of the staff were welcoming, friendly and polite, although we did find a couple of the male bar staff to be a little abrupt and moody at times.
Despite the few minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay at Tsokkos Gardens. The food, drinks, pool area and overall atmosphere made for a lovely holiday, and the staff generally did their best to help when problems arose.
Overall, we loved it here and would happily re-book. There are a few things that could be improved, but none of them would put us off returning.
This was our 3rd year on the trot at this hotel and the standards have dropped dramatically this year the staff mainly have been changed and the new ones are rude and look as though they don't want to be there even some of the old staff have lowered the standards. The food used to be out of this world for all inclusive but even that has dipped.I love Cyprus and will always return but I'm afraid that's the last time at this hotel.
Ive been here 3 years on the trot ,twice a year .Went in Aug a group off 14.and the hotel has gone right down the food was very poor .The people who work in the restaurant are very rude not a smike or anything they look like they don't want to be there .The last 3 year they was friendly but I can see there is alot off new staff .We only eat at the pool bar they lady on there is lovely and friendly cant remember her name .If you have a camp bed in your room make sure you check it ours was broken the whole board had come apart had to get it changed .The pool is well overcrowded you have to be up early to get a sunbed. .we stated to use the appointment pool which was lovely .I will not return back to this hotel ashame really .Like I said been here 3year on the trot twice a year .
