This hotel is located on what is considered the most beautiful beach in Cyprus, in the centre of the Protaras tourist resort. There are plenty of things to see in the surrounding area such as the Cape Greco Nature Reserve, Protaras Coastal Path and some more impressive beaches. Historical sites like the Agia Napa Medieval Monastry, Aphrodite's Rock and the Tomb of the Kings are worth visiting while in Cyprus. The hotel provides many amenities and services that will suit everyone's needs whether travelling for business or pleasure. There are three restaurants serving a wide variety of international, Mediterranean and sea food dishes, three bars and a patisserie. The modern elegant suites and rooms all have balconies and are equipped with all the essential elements needed to ensure the comfort of the guests. Some suites have private balconies and pools.

The Pearl is the BEST!
Well what can I say about The Sunrise Pearl Resort & Spa ....wow what an amazing place to stay & be thoroughly spoilt!! This was our first time visiting and most certainly won't be the last. Everything about the "Pearl" is 1st class...food/cleanliness/atmosphere and I would say their best asset are the staff who are absolutely fabulous. They make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them. From receptionists, chefs, cleaners and the very friendly porters, everyone is fantastic. BIG BIG thanks go to Durga & Manpreet who are a credit to the "Pearl", so professional in doing their job but also make you feel very special xx thankyou ladies. The "game changer" has to be keeping the same sun lounger for the duration of the holiday, makes such a big difference knowing we have a secure spot for the duration of our stay. Little touches such as the fruit bowls given out around the pool, fresh bottled water/chocolates delivered to our room in the evening, makes this hotel that extra little bit special. Food in the main restaurant/pool restaurant is of an exceptional high standard and well presented. One thing that stood out was the presence of the Head Chef at all mealtimes, to me this spoke volumes...a man taking pride in his job. Also, having the use of various restaurants off site (but within a 5 min walk from the hotel) is a brilliant concept. Would definitely recommend Lemongrass and Marcello's (exceptional food & staff). 2nd stay and we will be back!
Our 2nd stay at this lovely hotel and it did not disappoint. The food is great, such a good choice of restaurants, although you must remember to book in advance on the screens in reception. The pool area and whole hotel was spotless and the service is fantastic. Special mention to Durga, who remembered us from 2 years ago and was always on hand with a smile at breakfast and dinner. We also love the fact that ypu choose your sunbeds at the start and they are yours for the duration of your stay, I don't know why all hotels don't do this!! We will be back!

Superb
Just returned from a week’s holiday in this fabulous hotel. Loved everything about it, the staff are super friendly throughout the hotel, it is spotlessly clean and in a great location. We had a sea facing swim up Jnr suite, a super king size bed, loved the pillow menu, we were a family of 3 and felt that we had lots of space. The swim up room was a treat and very relaxing. Half board option is fabulous, restaurants being based off site felt for us like we were going out somewhere different every night. The allocation of sun loungers around the pool is a real winner, no early morning rush for a sunbed and the pool is a 2-minute walk down the path to the lovely beach. Would absolutely recommend and we hope to return someday.

Excellent stay at the Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa in Protaras
We had an excellent stay at the Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa in Protaras. The hotel was beautifully maintained, the facilities were first-class, and the staff were welcoming, attentive and professional throughout. The location was superb, and everything was handled to an exceptionally high standard. A thoroughly enjoyable experience - so much so that we have booked for summer 2027 for 3 weeks!
Truly a five-star hotel in every sense of the word,
We have now stayed at the Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa three times, and every visit has confirmed for us why this is truly a five-star hotel.
What we particularly appreciate is the exceptional attention to detail and the little touches that make the whole experience feel special. The system with the reserved umbrellas and sunbeds by the beach is excellent, as it means you can relax without having to worry about finding a place every morning.
The service is outstanding throughout the hotel. We especially appreciated the room service and the evening turndown service, when the room was prepared for the night and a small chocolate was left for us. The staff would also check whether we needed anything else, which is a lovely example of the genuine care given to guests.
Around the pool, fresh towels were offered to help you cool down, and complimentary small fruit bites and little fresh juice shots were also offered during the day. These may seem like small details, but they make a real difference and show the level of attention given to guests. The underground parking is another very useful facility, particularly during the hot summer months.
The L’Occitane bathroom amenities are of excellent quality and another lovely five-star touch.
Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. The buffet offers an exceptional variety, with some dishes changing every day, so there is always something different to look forward to. There was a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, delicious pastries and savoury choices, including quiche Lorraine, as well as a member of staff preparing fresh smoothies and other special treats. Every morning seemed to bring a new little surprise.
Dinner was equally enjoyable. One of the great advantages of staying here is the opportunity to dine at a choice of at least seven restaurants within the hotel group. Reservations are naturally required, but having the possibility to enjoy a different restaurant and style of cuisine each evening is a fantastic concept and avoids the feeling of eating in the same place throughout your holiday.
After three stays, we can honestly say that the consistency of the service is what impresses us most. The hotel combines a beautiful location with excellent facilities, wonderful food and, above all, genuinely attentive service.
For us, the Sunrise Pearl is truly a five-star hotel in every sense of the word, and we would have no hesitation in returning again.
