Silver Sands Beach Hotel

Rooms disgusting, blood on pillows, bedding stained and not changed once all week, towels need the bin stained, grey hard (when we actually got some) furniture worn out and nothing in rooms that's stated on the site and cleaning maids rude, possibly the worst hotel I've stayed in, only good things about this hotel is reception staff lovely ladies and location. Stay away really is awful 😔

Ok, so good points first, location was great right next to the beach. Staff all really friendly and helpful. Short walk to shops and restaurants, pool was a nice temperature, fresh towels and beds made every day. Ok not so good, rooms were really outdated so lived out my suitcase for the duration of our stay. Rooms only had two plug sockets, the towels although clean ones everyday, they were like sandpaper lol. Tv had a 2 pin plug but no socket to put the plug into and the plug was damaged anyway. The food was very basic and to be honest not nice at all. Breakfast fried eggs all hard, no real sausages, only one toaster working, and it took six times to get it even looking like toast, the other toaster was broken for the whole 8 days I was there. The pool was never cleaned once whilst we were staying, the drains were blocked and they were cleared right in front of everyone and the floors not cleaned or disinfected, gross. The sun dissappeard at around 3pm so pointless sitting around the pool, the beds in the grass verges were all old and when it rained the grass became all messy not ideal. Shower head was broken asked several times to be fixed eventually had it changed. The overall cleanless was not great. Wouldn't stay there again. Cider not included as part of the all inclusive so had to pay 5 euros for a small bottle.

Location- very good, right on beach and lots of bars and restaurants around Rooms- absolutely appalling, marks on the furniture eg desks, hole in bathroom door, tears on the chair for desk. Bug under pillow. Only give you one pillow which is very flat. Loads of stains on the bedding. The shower had no pressure from the head, drain was blocked so no water going down drain quick enough so had to use all our towels to stop it flooding. The towels were changed every day however they were like sand paper and didn’t seem clean at all. There was only 2 plug sockets in the whole room and only one on one side of the bed. TV hardly worked, no english channels even if you try and change the language. Air con was really good but only give you one key so had to find an alternative to put in the key holder to keep the air con going. Noise level was okay. Everyone was friendly and very nice. It was my birthday out there and they ladies did a lovely display shown below. When we got there the guy kept our passports over night and didn’t put our details in straight away which i wasn’t a fan of. There was a safe which is free to use Was definitely not the price we would pay for an all inclusive. The food wasn’t great, breakfast was average, lunch and dinner had food that not many people would normally eat, chips were bland, one toaster was only working for the whole 8 days i was there and it took a long time for your toast to cook. Very repetitive and not much selection Atmosphere was good Had water polo every day at 3pm which was good Not much entertainment, we only saw a saxophonist The pool was warm but me and my cousin cut our feet on the tiles as they were all lifted and very sharp. They weren’t bothered to fix it straight away and just left it. The sun would fade around 3pm from the building blocking the pool area. The hallways need decorating and ceiling needs repairing. VERY OUTDATED HOTEL No toilet on the reception level No signs when they were painting the walls so got paint on us when walking through. Gym to use Wouldn’t go back & wouldn’t recommend
