The hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Protaras, in sub resort of Pernera, within walking distance from Marlita a small public beach.
The air-conditioned hotel comprises 137 rooms. Facilities include a lobby, 24-hour reception, currency exchange facility, café, bar, games area, TV room, restaurant, pool bar, lagoon type freshwater swimming pool, children's separate pool, tennis court, volleyball court, sauna, gym room, and squash room.
All rooms are fully air-conditioned with direct dial telephone, radio, 22" LCD TV with satellite reception, hairdryer, bath/shower, safe box at extra charge, mini fridge, tea & coffee facilities, and balcony.
Guests may take advantage of the weekly entertainment and activity programme (including live music). There is also a programme for children. An outdoor swimming pool with a children's pool, poolside snack bar, and sun loungers and parasols, as well as a sauna, steam room, massage treatments, tennis, table tennis, gym facilities, pool/snooker, darts, and rowing, are all available.
The hotel offers a lot of indoor and outdoor restaurants and bars serving European and Cypriot cuisine and specialties. There are also different buffet nights.

Amazing 10 days spent here!!!!!
We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel and would definitely return.
Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to every single member of staff. Everyone was so friendly, hardworking and polite, and they really made our holiday extra special. From the cleaners, who did an amazing job every day and left our room spotless, to the bar staff and reception team who greeted us with a smile every day, every single member of the team deserves recognition for how hard they work. Thank you all!
The pools were always clean and there was plenty of space, so they never felt overcrowded. We visited at the end of June and stayed for 10 nights. It only started to get a little busier during the last few days as the school holidays began.
The pirate ship and water slides were a huge bonus for my children, who absolutely loved them. My youngest daughter, who is 9, spent hours playing on them every day and had the best time.
The hotel itself was immaculate throughout our stay, which is something I really appreciate. Everywhere was kept beautifully clean and well maintained.
The food was delicious, especially the homemade pizzas – wow! I could have eaten them every day because they were so good. The rest of my family really enjoyed the food too. We ate out on a couple of evenings, but only for a change of scenery.
The drinks were probably the only slight downside for me. The soft drinks were cheaper brands, such as Rola Cola and lemonade with lemon juice instead of Fanta Lemon. However, I absolutely loved the caramel iced coffees – we had one every day! The beer was also really nice.
The entertainment was good overall. The DJ created a great atmosphere every evening and kept everyone involved. The only suggestion I would make is that the younger lady on the entertainment team could be a little more confident and interact more with the children, as I think this would make the entertainment even better.
Overall, we absolutely loved our stay at this fantastic hotel and can’t wait to come back. I would 100% book here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great family holiday. Although I’ve mentioned a couple of small negatives, they were far outweighed by all the positives. I wanted to give an honest review, and this hotel truly exceeded our expectations.

I booked this hotel almost a year ago. On arrival, the receptionist informed me they were overbooked and didn't have a room for me. There was no manager at the hotel. No one was able to help me. The hotel is completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Customers mean nothing to them. If you don't want to ruin your family's vacation, stay away from this place! Excellent service with staff that take that extra step!
Our stay at Papouis Hotel in Protaras exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality that made us feel at home.
We have stayed in many hotels over the years, but Papouis Hotel stands out because of the outstanding service and the genuine care shown by everyone working there. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to returning. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, friendly, and enjoyable stay in Protaras. If one were to nitpick, the only suggestion I would make is to slightly limit the number of guests and charge a little more, as it would elevate an already wonderful hotel into a truly exceptional, more premium experience.

No request was ever too much, and he always greeted everyone with a warm smile and positive energy. People like Ahtar are incredibly rare — he doesn't just do his job, he creates unforgettable experiences. Papouis Hotel is incredibly fortunate to have someone of his caliber on the team. (The Sambuca shots by the pool were great! ;)) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Family holidays at Cyprus
The hotel is in good location, not far walking distance to the beach. Nearby is bus station. The rooms are cleaned every day, need a little tlc and can be a bit more bigger and a bit better shower pressure other than that everything is fine. The staff is very kind and friendly. The atmosphere is very pleasant and friendly. The hotel has 4 pools outside, two is for the kids. Also there is kids play room inside and outdoors. Last but not least the food is delicious. Very highly recommended for a family holidays
