We had an amazing experience with my friends at Narcissos Resort! Our room was very clean and up to standard, the staff very accommodating and the food delicious. I would definitely recommend it for your stay in Protaras - it’s also very close to some of the most beautiful beaches here (Green Bay, Vyzakia Beach and Cavo Greco).
Upon arrival told the hotel floor was “flooded” and we had to go to another hotel. The other hotel is still under development and we told the hotel manager this and we did not want to move. After much back and forth her very rude response was that’s all you're getting either go to another hotel or you have no where to go. Another girl on reception very rude and unhelpful. After moving several guests at the new hotel moved over from Narcissos were told hotel was overbooked not flooded. Many unhappy people but were all told the same of tough luck you have to go. Would not stay here on recommendation of rude manager and lady receptionist. The new hotel is nice but just under construction. When returning to UK will be seeking full compensation
The Good: Food & Kitchen: The food options were limited (which is expected for a smaller hotel), but everything was very nice—we enjoyed our meals every single day. Having fresh omelettes or toasties made to order every morning was a huge plus, and the kitchen staff were an absolute 10/10. Entertainment: Adja Adja and his team of four ladies worked so hard and were amazing day and night! The evening shows were really good—during our late July stay, we saw fire dancers, a parrot show, and even enjoyed karaoke night (something we’d usually avoid!). Location & Amenities: The hotel is a 30-minute walk from the main strip, but buses run every 10 minutes, and renting a buggy for a day was super easy. In hindsight, we were so glad to be slightly set back because the Protaras strip was far too noisy. Plus, the stunning little beach across the road (a 7-minute walk) is honestly one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever visited. Waterpark: Absolute 10/10! The slides were well-maintained, the lifeguards were friendly, and the layout was brilliant—I could easily watch my daughters walk up and slide down from anywhere in the sunbed area.
The bad: Reception Staff: Unfortunately, the reception experience was very poor throughout our stay. When we first arrived, the staff were nowhere to be found. I had to walk into a back office where they were sitting eating, and we were met with eye rolls. We had to ask for our all-inclusive wristbands before being sent to our rooms, were given no directions to our room, and weren't given a map or basic info. Lack of Information: We weren't told about the €5 towel deposit, meaning I had to trek back and forth to the room on our first day because I hadn't brought cash to the pool bar. Every time we went past reception, staff were on their phones or out of towels. Tip for management: If reception doesn't want to explain things, just put a complex map and basic info on a welcome sheet! Minor Grievance: During one kids' disco, four Polish families were handed goodie bags from a Polish holiday company, which left our English girls feeling understandably left out. It's a nice gesture from the tour operator, but handing these out at check-in rather than at the children's disco would prevent other kids from feeling excluded. Final Verdict: Despite the letdown at reception, the hardworking entertainment crew, lovely kitchen staff, fantastic waterpark, and great location made it a wonderful holiday. Would definitely recommend!
What a lovely place this has been to stay, the rooms are immaculate with plenty space and the surrounding pool area as well as bar are everything you'd need. Takis the restaurant manager was so friendly and helpful during our stay and made us feel at home for the entirety. Would recommend coming here to all my family and friends.
Amazing stay here, highly recommended. Staff are amazing, extremely clean and great food. Takis the restaurant manager is super friendly and always at hand to help in anyway. Looking to return in the bear future.
