Maris Grand Waterpark Resort

We stayed at the Maris Grand as two couples with four children, and we had an incredible experience! ​First of all, the place is spotlessly clean—truly impeccably maintained everywhere you go. The staff is just wonderful, always friendly and welcoming, and Bill was simply amazing and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed during our stay. ​The kids had a blast because the water park is excellent, and to top it all off, the food is really delicious with plenty of great options for everyone. ​Highly recommended for families looking for a fantastic getaway. We will definitely come back!

I recently stayed at this hotel for 10 nights on an all-inclusive basis, and I had an amazing time. The food and drinks were consistently delicious, offering a great variety to keep things interesting throughout the stay. The pool area was fantastic, perfect for relaxing and cooling off, and the water slides added an extra layer of fun and excitement. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

The location of the hotel is brilliant, 10 to 15 mins walk to the strip and 20 mins walk to fig tree bay. Reception/ check in was speedy and always helpful. Food was generally good, most meals we could find something to eat, the worst night for food for us as a family was the Surf and turf evening, definitely no steak available. The room was generally cleaned well, floor and bathroom, but we stayed 9 nights and the bed sheets were not changed once, to me this isn't acceptable! As with other reviews the pool just doesn't feel quite big enough. To secure a sun lounger by the end of the holiday we were having to go down by 6am. This could be stopped easily enough by the hotel, they could lock the doors to the pool area and open them at 830am, your not supposed to enter the actual pool until 9am. This would allow the staff the clean the area thoroughly without people being in the way. One day I couldn't sleep so had a walk around and there were towels already on loungers at 5am, I think people were actually putting them out on an evening, when the entertainment was finishing, staff should do a walk around once the entertainment has finished remove any towels and then lock these doors. Parents were allowing there young children to eat cookies and ice-cream lollies whilst they were actually in the pool, so when it was melting it was just dropping in the pool, this was disgusting, not the hotels fault, though! I did witness one morning the cleaning staff were cleaning the pool area with cleaning solution that's was labelled OVEN CLEANER! The sun lounger are made to be used with padding, unfortunately these were removed last year and never replaced so quite a few loungers are now starting to be to worn and damaged. STAFF Big shout out to all the restaurant staff they were all lovely,, hard working and very pleasant. Majority of the bar staff were also lovely and pleasant, apart from one! I was in the queue at the snack bar a young girl about 13 yrs old asked for an alcoholic drink, I presume it was for her parent but the bar tender Oli, then started having a little moan to me saying he can't serve her she's to young, there's cameras on him, at first I thought he was just generally saying but then he kept going on and on even when I asked for mine and my own daughters drink, the way he still kept going on at me I think he thought the child was mine...BUT SHE WASNT, after that when ever he served me I found him very unpleasant! The seating in both the restaurant and the lobby are lovely unfortunately people are sitting on them in wet costumes even though the restaurant staff ask if your dry before showing you to a table, people are that rude saying they are dry when there not so half the time you end up with a wet bottom, this is pure ignorance of the other clientele, not the hotels fault.
