The beautiful apartment complex lies in southern Cyprus, only 500 m from the bay with a slightly sloping sand beach. Restaurants, bars and nightclubs are located a mere 800 m from the hotel. The resort centre of the popular holiday resort of Protaras is 4 km from the complex. Good bus links are available between the hotel and the resort centre, which depart from right outside the complex. The lively resorts Ayia Napa (roughly 18 km) and Paralimni (about 8 km) are easily reached using bus services. Transfer to Larnaca Airport takes about 50 minutes.
renovated in the year 2000, the superbly located complex consists of 150 apartments spread over 5 floors. Guests may make use of the spacious foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, safe, currency exchange desk, lift, games room, TV room, an Internet connection and bike hire. In addition to this, a bar, a small supermarket, a newspaper stand, a cosy bar and a restaurant are also available. Laundry services and medical assistance are further features, which may be taken advantage of. Outside the complex, guests will find is a playground and car parking facilities.
All studios and apartments are tasteful and modern. An en suite bathroom and hairdryer, a combined living room/bedroom, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, a fridge, a kitchenette, air conditioning and a balcony or terrace. The apartments are similarly equipped and come with a separate bedroom. Final cleaning is included in the price.
There is a swimming pool in the well-maintained outdoor complex as well as a pool bar, sun loungers and parasols. Guests are offered to opportunity to participate in water aerobics courses, go to the sauna, receive massages and play table tennis and billiards. Various water sports can be undertaken on the beach, such as water skiing, diving or sailing. Parasols and sun loungers are also laid out ready for use.

Lovely family holiday - hotel has potential!
We recently came back from Sun Palace and overall had a lovely a week. The hotel itself looks fresh and clean, by the end of the week there was more furniture around reception and the site. Very little information was given on check in or in rooms so did need to find this else where, there is an electronic board in reception which had info on. We found the food very good, as vegetarians there was plenty for us every day. There was no information on the meals in terms of dietary information initially, this came towards the end of the week. We did not eat in the Greek or Italian as were fully booked, they were only allowing smaller numbers. I think once these are open fully it will take pressure of main dining area as this was busy/crowded at times as food area is quite small. The rooms were a good size, separate room with double bed and the children were in the main living space. Fridge, sink area. We had lovely cleaners who were helpful and changed our rooms when asked. We did have a fault with our balcony door which we reported a number of times but was not looked at or resolved. There was also a bad smell from the shower on a couple nights, again reported and we were also aware of others guests reporting this across the same block and other blocks. Our room was facing the main road, you could hear the bar across the road till 2am, very loud, so would recommend a pool side room if light sleepers. The swimming pools are small for the hotels size, I do not think the adult only pool can remain that as the smaller pools are no good for older children. Also when at full capacity it would be a struggle with numbers. Our children enjoyed the water slides, which was good to have on site but without the infinity pool/adult only the pools would not be any good for them. Staff were lovely and friendly. Queues were sometimes long at the bar but we didn't find it a problem. Entertainment was ok, not enough space for everyone to sit at times to watch shows, again something they may need to look at. The area was lovely and the beaches were great, very safe. Lots to do around the local area, we really recommend the area the hotel is based in. Overall the holiday was better than we expected from previous reviews. I think the hotel opened far too early without having issues resolved. We were lucky with our room and experience compared to others. Hopefully next season they would have considered how they will manage a fuller capacity and issues as it has the potential to be a really lovely hotel for families.

Amazing Stay & Great Water Park!” 🌊☀️
We had such a wonderful time at Sun Place Water Park Hotel! ❤️ From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The water park was so much fun, and there was something for everyone. The staff were friendly and always happy to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We created some really lovely memories here and honestly didn’t want to leave! We would happily come back again and highly recommend this hotel. ☀️🌊
The best stay in this resort
We are very satisfied and happy with our stay at this resort. We were there as a family of 4. Each of us was very pleased, because the hotel really met our highest expectations. Both the rooms, swimming pools, attractions, food and service deserve praise. All employees are very helpful and polite for me it's 5 stars. Special thanks to: James working at the bar, Pralad working at the restaurant and of course super evening animator Miguel - the one from bingo. You have a really great team, each of them was very involved. We will definitely come back to you, just maintain this level of quality because it was one of the best trips. A great family holiday !
Our review !
Came back 5 days ago after a week stay as a solo parent with 3 children . Brand new hotel was expecting teething issues but we didn’t have ANY ! Felt so safe ! 3 pools lovely temp & 4th pool too . Loads of space for all , no sunbed wars !! Always found something to eat . Place was immaculate! Tables ,floors ,rooms , pools - always clean! - cleaners are lovely and done a fab job ! Room was lovely plenty space & storage . All facilities worked as they should - air con was great . Now the staff - they were soooo lovely ! Every staff member were happy to talk , making sure all was ok , pleasantly served at the bar ! Drinks were good too ! Pubs / restaurants within 5 minute walk . Beach down the road & a gorgeous beach 10 minutes away on the bus ( can get busy and chaotic on them buses tho 😂) Really had no faults ! All round a great holiday & great area & will be booking again for sure 🎉🙌 Hopefully next year 💕 Kate & kids x

An Unforgettable Family Holiday – Amazing Hotel and Exceptional People! We had a wonderful and unforgettable stay at Sun Palace Waterpark Resort in. The hotel is beautiful, modern and new, and we felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. The service throughout the hotel was excellent, the food was delicious, and everything was kept exceptionally clean. Our room was cleaned standard every day. The waterpark is fantastic, especially for families with children! My daughter had so much fun and enjoyed every moment. We also loved the snack bar at the waterpark. The food was absolutely delicious, and it was so convenient to enjoy tasty snacks while spending the day by the pools and water slides. However, the person who made our holiday truly special was Andrian, one of the managers. ❤️ She is one of the kindest, warmest and most genuine people we have ever met in hospitality. Andrian is always smiling, always ready to help, and makes you feel like more than just a hotel guest. My daughter absolutely adores her! Every day, she looked for Andrian and wanted to spend time with her. It was beautiful to see how happy Andrian was to welcome her each time, always with her lovely smile, kindness and a warm hug. My daughter’s face lit up whenever she saw Andrian, and as a parent, those moments meant so much to me. ❤️ Andrian has a special way of making people feel welcome and cared for. She truly has hospitality in her heart, and the hotel is very lucky to have someone like her. We will remember her kindness long after our holiday is over. A huge thank you to Andrian and all the wonderful staff at Sun palace Waterpark Resort for making our family holiday so special. We truly appreciate everything you did for us and all the beautiful memories we are taking home. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to families and would love to return! 🌞💦❤️
